I think they've done a good job making topics like this seem trite. The novelty of being able to say whatever you want about them has worn off. They also don't have to worry about acquiring the evil alliance stigma while everyone else accuses others of being 'hegemonic' and denying they have those traits themselves.

Confidence in your leadership and allowing them to complete plans that may take longer than a single term could be taken as a healthy sign. The GPA, as I'm sure you know, has it's fair share of internal turbulence so the more happy terms it strings together the better. The MoMC is mediocre.

I remember the uproar when the GPA almost had two seats. It was probably more because they're the GPA and less about someone having two seats.

With everyone involved concerned with each other, there will be more easy, uncoordinated targets for them to beat on.

I think this lacks artistry. I believe it would have been much better for the global community to utilize this venue to build a case and work towards this goal instead of rushing into it. Debate and propaganda are much more engaging than crushing those who disagree under your boot heel.
