Maybe I don't have the whole story, but it sounds to me that OVER A YEAR AGO, one of the founders (Panfilo) didn't agree with the direction you guys were going, so he left, and those that felt the same left with him. If I am wrong, please correct me. I am not being sarcastic, I really want to know what is so bad that you have to chase another long term player from the game.
If by "didn't agree with the direction we were going" you meant "honoring treaties that his signature was on" you may be closer.

A while back -- two or three years, at least -- Doitzel noted that agreements of various kinds were often saddled with various idiotic names that.
His suggestion was that every agreement between all alliances simply be called The Treaty of Paris henceforward.
It was a good idea then. It's a good idea now.

Georgetown controls its own fate in Chris Wright. He said he'll play but it depends on how he plays. If he plays like !@#$ then USC/VCU could be the next Davidson/Ohio etc. If he plays like he did the rest of the season, we may see the Georgetown that went 11-1 in a very difficult pre-season and had that 6 game Big-East winning streak. I'd take Georgetown over either of those schools though, VCU was 4th in the Colonial (lol) and USC was 4th in the Pac 10 (not as lol but still). It wouldn't be completely farfetched to see Georgetown play at a higher level either. They are a senior team that remembers how !@#$%* last year was.
