1. Do NPO diplomatic actions and strategies favor a unipolar, bipolar, or multipolar political world? According to NPO analysis, is the current political climate unipolar, bipolar, or multipolar?
2. Congrats Umbrella. Interesting move. Interesting times. And other vague comments.
3. Here is to another just as good as this last one!
4. Congratulations to our allies in NEAT! I've always liked me some CCC, glad to have them in the neighborhood. Hello CCC.
5. Excellent. I enjoy your efforts.
6.
One thing I know I can like about PF is that with eyriq, Bob, beazy, and a few others I'm assured of posts like this that respond to my ideas rather than my person (hello, Papa Crymson); you definitely have the edge on brains in the bloc competition. I do feel bad in retrospect that I came across as taking a big, cantankerous dump on PF, but my initial thoughts were based entirely on the sudden cascade of "look out Polaris" crap. My point is that, for the most part, the only alliance in PF with a clear "passion" or "agenda" (as eyriq alluded to) is TOP, and that is "revenge" on Polaris (TOP can call it revenge, but I fail to see how making bad decisions for yourself in the middle of a war warrants revenge)--this is a global ambition. The rest of you seem content to be good at what you do: building strong nations and strong, cohesive alliances--introspective ambitions. With that situation, it will be very easy for TOP's passions and agendas to become PF's. A bloc is a world-stage entity, and TOP is the only PF AA with a clear world-stage agenda. Some of you will understand what I mean, some of you will start making retarded lapdog jokes.
Flattery will work every time, Schatt. Pretty much everything is abstract at this stage anyway, so while each alliance brings something different to the table it is way to early so say how it will play out in concrete steps. Though the guide for dealing with feelings of betrayal is pretty simple...
7. All hail the alliance that treaty's power spheres. You guys are great, to the benefit of all. Happy birthmonth and all that.
8.
It's not Citadel 2.0 without us! Also congrats. I see you guys finally managed to get BN to sign a treaty above ODP level.
Heh. An optional bloc would just be silly. Roq once said about forming a bloc that it is a collectivization of interests, which on such a large scale, and with so many alliances, it only makes sense to do it at the mandatory level, imo.
9. Interesting thoughts Schatt. At the heart of it this bloc aims to be a synthesis of each AA's passions and agendas. Or in other words, an armadillo flying on a platypus with freaking light sabers and a dragon wings.
10. Bring over a lot of the TE updates, such as changeable native resources, more start up money, peak infra, etc, allowing for newer nations to have an easier time of things and older nations to rebuild from war easier. Then, keep adding wonders and improvements. Finally, continue to push the Vox Populi/Karma narrative of less restrictive post-war terms. Also, kill the 'game is dying' tune, as that is an indicator that, well, a game is dying. Cut out the symptoms to avoid the diagnosis sort of thing, avoid the self-fulfilling prophecy sort of thing.
11. Sadly, the NONE sphere just doesn't have the power to self-protect, and efforts to create such power have ended disastrously. You do need power to exist in peace, and you won't find it unaligned. One option is to sign a single nation protectorate treaty with someone more powerful, keeping your sovereignty somewhat intact and allowing for you to exist peacefully within the extent of your protectors power. I think Krack or some such has worked out this arrangement, though with some semantics thrown in. Otherwise, find like minded players and band together, community norms afford protection on simply meeting a certain member count.
12. Nice, thanks for doing this.
13. Pretty Fair grouping we have here! O/ PF
14. It is not accurate to say that admin is not working to improve the game, he has put work into TE and could have a lot of good ideas to bring over to SE.
15.
To be honest. after reading the exchange that precipitated this, anyone in ACTI who chooses to defend their idiot leader should burn. Way to show you are equally as dumb as Battallion, Teddyyo.
Pretty much agree with this. Verbal aggression will often lead to physical aggression, at least as physical as this world gets.
16.
Well, this gave me quite a chuckle. Looks like everyone is going to be able to get a piece of the people they want in the next war...

I guess this means we have TOP on our side next war...
Good thread, good treaty.
17. Hey, opened this up and found some stuff to hail. A green team alliance moving closer to bloc-mates of our dear friend and ally, Asgaard. Doing it with flare none-the-less. Congrats Legacy.
18. What do the speculators say will be the sides?

20. Another interesting side affect of reading this Q&A is going from 'wow, great post MK' to 'wow, wtf just happened here' in like a matter of seconds. Edit: wtf not wft
21. Things got too political?
22. Congratulations on allying an ally of your ally. Congruency in FA is beautiful to see.
