[/quote] most alliances have a special channel for members only and the public chans tend to be filled with people just trying to mess around and being stupid.

I thought it was a well known fact that all major alliances are directly controlled by MK and that in fact all alliance leaders of ever alliance in the top 50 was a MK plant. Everything that goes on is solely for Archon's amusement now. After this war is ended various alliances will acting out episodes of Friends, first we need to see who will be Joey though which is the real reason why this war started.

This game has its people that take the game very seriously and those that are more lulzy. This is also a game with a great amount of history and as such political wars break out from time to time and the likely hood is that your alliance will be involved in this war and you will take damage even if you win. In order to truly know if you would fit in here you have to know how much you want to devote yourself to this game and if you will be able to handle people who like to act stupid. If you only spend 5 minutes a day here and just want to grow your nation then join a neutral allinace. If you want to get into the heart of the game and be involved in the politics then join whatever alliance most fits your style and don't be afraid to leave an alliance if you don't like it their. As a final note CN can get mean at times and if you don't have the ability to have thick skin when needed then it is unlikely this game is for you.

I do believe this is currently the lowest or soon to become the lowest score the highest ranked alliance has held within the confines of the Sanction Race thread. Of course their are to many pages for me to check them all so i might be wrong.

Even if NPO takes the number 1 spot they will still be a far cry from the 80 score alliance who leads that largest bloc the world has known like they where pre Karma.

From personal experience their isn't that much you can't find out even if you don't have access to those smokey back rooms. Much will be on your alliance's forums or if nothing else go to the member's chan IRC and ask someone and they will likely give you the answer you seek or at least enough of one that you can construct most of the interesting information you would find in those back rooms. Also personally doings of an alliance should be given to the public as that alliance sees fit. Personally i have no interest in being the CN equivalent of a drama queen but to each their own.

Unless i am mistaken the only treaty TOP had that linked itself to the war was a treaty through IRON to NSO who was a treaty partner with Polar who held 2 separate treaties to CnG alliances at the time of TOP/IRON declaring war. So as i understand it the CB was that they where preemptivly attacking us to stop us from attacking an allies ally. A thing which historically we have never done nor did we plan to do. For this reason TOP/IRON's CB is invalid and thus is in fact a separate war of aggression started by TOP/IRON.

The reason we didn't give TOP white peace in the beginning and the reason we don't give them white peace now are two different if related reasons.

[/quote] So different people can't have different opinions that lead to the same conclusion in your alliance? Plus even arguing off Sunstar's post your comments make no sense. TOP attacked CnG for no reason other then they wanted us dead. To simply agree to peace right then to avoid damage would have been stupid as all it means is that we will have to wait for the conflict to come up again and it might do so in such a way that we would be destroyed. And now after hurting TOP and company their is no reason still to give white peace as. A) They are the aggressors and B) We have suffered damage as well and if we where to just let them go they would simply regrow and attack us later as they have shown no remorse for their pointless attack other being sad over the damage they have taken and i fully believe they would still kill us if they had the chance.

It ironic that you call it nostalgia that you want to go back to private chans (which are still dominantly used) when during the time they where popular people where complaining bout how nobody did anything publicly anymore.

The DNSS (or is it DSS?) is a result of A) Larger warchest so more time to fight, and B) Trying to not leave the war before your allies so that you look tough and people won't be able to criticize you for being cowards for the next 3 years.

The Great Leveling would be a more accurate name then Reset since many of the people taking the most damage are higher leveled nations. Also as stated before NPO doesn't have the high end nations (even in the post war world) to be a serious military threat by themselves and most alliances they would ally with are being reduced to rubble as we speak. That said with the damage taken on all sides of the war any alliance with competent leadership, active membership, and a bit of luck could see itself politically in charge by the end of this year. Voted no simply because i am against abortion and even with a strong likelihood of some problem the child would likely prefer to be alive then dead. As for the election question. Based on the presented knowledge C is the best choice, however that doesn't tell me anything about the politicians political views which is more important.

anyone know what the lowest score for top sanctioned alliance is for the history of the sanction race? I did some looking and the lowest i found was 46.8 or some such after Karma.

So i just realized that if this war keeps up and MHA falls under 50 score it will be the first time in the history of the sanction race thread that no alliance has been above 50 score.

i think most question have been answered rather well. I simply want to say that if you can bring 300 active member or even 200 active member and find an ally that would be willing to lend you their nation building guide and possibly have some people teach you the finer points of the game you could grow to substantial size and influence in a relatively short period of time. The other thing is the occasional opinion that this game is stagnating is in fact false as the game is constantly politically evolving and while it may go through phases of political inactivity these always pass with time.

obviously you must declare war to get more popcorn. Since as we all know lack of popcorn is in fact the majority cause of all wars.

But i thought Sparta was the 8th member of CnG does that make them the 15th member of SuperComplaints?

just to point out against the conspiracy theories. NpO is not allied to TOP, IRON, DAWN, or TORN. Polar may very well have told all their allies they where discussing peace but for whatever reason the information never got to TOP/IRON in time. You also have to consider is that no matter how brilliant the people on CnG's side are they can't have forced TOP and IRON to declare war on them that was their own idea.
