1. This is one of those rounds that makes me want to come back. This has been awesome to see and be a part of. My hat is off to everyone involved.
2.
What?!?!? This is all you come up with for a DoW?!?! No pictures, no witty commentary? I'll guess OP will just have to adapt to war under these circumstances. Let me help - OP and LE, so happy together... (we're the dude by the way) Good luck. Let's get 'em OP.
Am I just seeing things or does that llama/camel, whatever, have teeth growing out of it's nose? Must be a product of our nukes from last round.
3. o/ all my friends in Anunnaki....and Mike. Good to see you found protectors.
4. Here's to fun and interesting times ahead! o/ PB
5. Glad to still see you guys around and getting things going again!
6. NSO opened the door by aiding a rogue and, instead of RoK talking on the doorstep, they shoved their way in. I don't see blame completely lying with one side or the other.
7. This was pretty good.....until I opened your top 50 list. I know it's your opinion and to each his own, but I personally like to think of how the game as a whole would be if those alliances disbanded/stayed. Taking from that list I wouldn't find the game interesting in the least. Then again, perhaps \m/ and GOONS would merge into PC and we could rule the world
8. We ended up getting the Wii because it's something that the whole family can do together, from me and my wife to my 3 yr old. I just wish they could come out with something a bit more educational for my young one, but that's what parents and the PC are there for.
9.
The executives, namely iClean and Kevin McDonald, flat out told me that I wasn't "allowed" to leave, and that the option of leaving the alliance without leaving CN wasn't going to be afforded to me.
I'm not too familiar with iClean but I don't know if I could see Kev doing something like this unless it was jokingly.
10.
I do remember AU! I was a member for 2 weeks or so, and left just before the big mess. I thought we knew all of this stuff already, I don't exactly see the point of this thread, unless I missed something in the OP.
Pretty much this, except I was a member for a couple months. Was my first AA and all I really remember is the forum inactivity as stated in the OP. I think it was the week span of no posts that pushed me to leave. Thankfully, before the bigger mess started.
11. Sad to say, I have been in a few alliances that could have went places but fell due to the closed structure and many of the reasons and effects you state above.
12. Corp, you guys should know better then to leave any kittens near Marx. Live and learn....live and learn. Grats to both of you!
13. Something similar actually happened to me in a restaurant. Got about halfway done with an iced tea and noticed a huge mosquito stuck between the ice and the side of the glass (drowned of course). I told the waitress and she said, "So that's where it went." She apologized profusely of course and in the end I got a free meal out of it.
14. Great decision. Quality always better than quantity in the end.
15. Finally! Man, when the treaty was presented in our embassy I couldn't wait for the official announcement. o/ our brothers in NEW
16. Man, I met some great fighters from both Valhalla and BAPS during this conflict. To those I fought you did a great job. A special thanks for bringing me to over 1.8 million casualties and for getting me back into raiding range
17.
Maybe NpO can re-declare on \m/, get the rest of their allies to join them, then peace out immediately, leaving their allies holding the bag? No one will see that coming!!!
They better hurry before they run out of allies to hold that bag for them.
18.
You know, PC, \m/ & the goonies might show up at your 8 nation alliance's doorstep someday soon. They'll probably tell you the same thing, "We will raid as we please, and if you refuse to accept that we will happily wage war on you until you do."
I don't think we would raid our own protectorate.
19. I guess either way they would have been looked down upon. Either they went back on thier word about peace always being on the table or they left their allies in the war. Anyway, much fun was had from this Polar. I enjoyed talking to those nations I fought against.
20. Meh LOL After seeing this thread, among others, I don't exactly find this true. FOK you are awesome allies and have proven to be great friends. We will never be in a worse position with friends like you by our side.
21. Nope, not it at all. It had to do with PC/NpO diplomacy that kept them from attacki.....owai, keep forgetting they never talked to us. Seriously, if your going to use diplomacy as the reason to attack one alliance and not the other then at least talk with all alliances involved. Until then, stop using it as an excuse and just admit that you didn't want a certain alliances friends to get involved.
22. OOH I think can do this... raid (rd) n. 1. A surprise attack by an armed force. 2. A sudden forcible entry into a place by police: a raid on a gambling den. 3. An entrance into another's territory for the purpose of seizing goods or valuables. Did I do it right?
