Protecting Dead Alliances...is it Wrong?

A few weeks ago GGA disbanded...it was sad to see an alliance with such a long history disappear, however I never liked them much anyway. So \m/, being the aggresive little bling stars that are, stepped in and basically declared them tech raidable by ONLY \m/. STA, being the honorable all stars, stepped in and declared GGA was now protected by STA, and basically ordered \m/ to stop...which has now led to war between the two alliances. In my opinion, \m/ was doing what they do best. STA was do

My Thoughts on the NSO War

Recently NSO has gotten into a bit of trouble with Ragnarok and their protectorate TENE. Let me run down the timeline for you: -Sedrick complains on the TENE forums, asks out. -He steals aid, refusing to pay it back -He attacks several TENE nations, putting them in anarchy, claiming they spied on him. -Sedrick leaves TENE and tries to join MHA...who refuse. -Sedrick joins NSO Now NSO had no knowledge of the trouble Sedrick was in. While they never contacted TENE, why should they have? They

CN World Maps

I remember back in the day when world maps were kind of a big deal. It appears its starting to get popular again. Edifice of DecadentPast has decided to make a new one. The formula, rather than NS= total size, is 200,000 NS= 1 territory. The territories being taken from Hears of Iron 2. I don't play it, but the map is pretty snazzy. Throughout his topic "New CN World Map", there have been a few legitimate complaints. There will not be enough territories to accompany all alliances above 200K

Are There Too Many Alliances?

People have nearly always been saying it: there's just too many. But how many is too many? After all...its pretty much every nation's dream to run their own successful alliance. I'm not saying its everybody's, but if you're serious about the game it probably is. Now Corinan posted a thread stating that a majority of the top 80 alliances disband. That's not right in my opinion...the alliances that do their own thing, whether they let the world know about or not is respectable. There's a place f

Bastion; New Kids on the Bloc

Over the years here on Planet Bob, we've had some pretty smexy blocs. One Vision, BLEU, PWNAGE, Teen Titans, Contiunuum, and many others. Now we have ones such as the Chestnut Accords, NOIR, Complaints and Grievances Union, and quite a few others. One we may have forgotten about was Bastion. I'm calling this, Bastion 2.0. Random Insanity Alliance (the apparent founders of this here shindig) put together a bloc of alliances from all over the globe, banding together in unity, strength, peace, a

IAA: A Hilarious Joke, or a Terrible Conspiracy?

Over the last few days the Imperial Assault Alliance has been through a roller-coaster of emotions events. The boards were taken offline, and it was revealed that their own forum admin, Chimaera had done it as a joke. He had also used his gf's account to sneak into Spamalot IRC, but they knew it was him, and his gf was there (on a sidenote...doesn't this mean they're cheating??). Now this dipstick Penkala comes in and starts giving IAA a "stern talking to". Totally unnecessary. Here's the topi

This is why you switch to black

The name sounds kind of poetic right? Basically I'll write about some of the major things going on around CN, what the latest high-ups are discussing, all that good stuff. Then you all can tell me if you give a %$&* or not. Right now: The red sphere. It sure is the center of attention. Personally I think its all retarded. This all started once upon a time with the New Pacific Order, and Ivan Moldavi claiming all of the red nations? Now there's the Revenge Doctrine out there. Plus, the NPO
