Hard to believe, but even if it's true you're making a huge presumption by fingering GOONS. There are many many many others who dislike you and may see you as the kind of person who would react to that kind of harassment in an entertaining way, or even just do that knowing who you'd blame and hoping it would reflect poorly on those parties.

Even in death Smacky is still causing trouble, I think he'd be proud of that.

Thank you for the well wishes, it's nice to see a few coming from unexpected directions. To reiterate, we don't have public or secret treaties and we won't make written agreements. Don't mistake that for political neutrality. We still have our interests and will advance them as needed. I know we're hardly trailblazers in that regard but we're doing our part to pour a little solvent on the treaty web, hopefully we won't remain an anomaly.

It's not often you get a thread where every involved person ends up with their credibility shot to hell.

And this is why going easy on NSO is pointless, and even counterproductive. To them the basic acts of apologizing and admitting defeat are as horrible as being kept under terms for a year and a half while sending out all their tech. The sheer amount of whining you get from them and STA over the technicalities of an essentially white peace is more painful than the tears you'd have to listen to were they disbanded. Please, the next alliance to defeat NSO has to put them out of their misery. Letting them go after every war is only dooming the rest of us to more months of hearing their !@#$%^&*.

This whole affair is very unfortunate.
