I agree wholeheartedly, even. This is nothing more than fear. Fear caused by incoherent ramblings of a few petulant children afraid of getting their @#!es whipped good and proper for their transgressions. For what? I've been fighting this war for over a year, often times all by myself. I didn't lose several nations just so these jerks can get by with a love tap and a few minutes in time out. This is war. Maybe I'm old school, but I was taught that in war you must destroy your enemy. Not hope you can make out some day. Look at this. Would they have done the same for any of us? They constantly say even today, that they would not show us any mercy, yet they cry the loudest for mercy to be shown to them. What's wrong with this picture? For years they have goaded us into "doing something" about their misdeeds and now when we get this chance we've failed to learn from the mistakes of the past and instead pat them on their little heads and send them to school with new lunchboxes and a few shiny quarters for the soda machine. For what? Was all the years of torment, anguish, and sacrifice worth it for this farcical peace? Not for me, it isn't. They were the ones who brought this war to us. Let's act like it, otherwise...what's the point? Kissing their *&%#es even now isn't going to solve any of the problems that brought this on in the first place.

Bottom line, nobody would even give a crap about any of this if NPO hadn't ridiculed and threatened so many for using similar tactics in the past. Some of the more vocal detractors are on that list, and that's the point to be made here.

I agree, history both recent and distant has taught us they can't be trusted. After all...only fools make mistakes twice.

Yeah, he's right. Start agreeing to terms before a shot is fired like NPO tried to do(assuming they were sincere and not just trying to run away into peace mode.) He surrendered, lob insults all you want but it's over for him. If he had merely deserted for another alliance or something I could understand the animosity, but if he followed proper channels and surrendered as per our terms then that's that. Moving on...

If that's the case than why did you post this here? If it were me, I'd just tell them to piss off and go about my business...That's assuming you're not full of it. Either way, if it is true and someone decided to "use" you, then either they're stupid or they have no clue who you are. I do know who you are hence, I will just assume you're full of it and move on.

Your wife threatens to leave you over your CN habit(This has happened three times) When you pretend to look at pornography in order to hide your CN habit from said wife(First two weeks after I came back.) ..have CN related dreams. Lay awake all night wondering how you're going to pay off all your tech deals that you couldn't finish before war broke out. Checked forums at a keg party. Used CN related memes in casual speech. I once wrote a sociology paper on CN(concerning cliques) then you have to argue that you don't deserve a zero on the paper and are forced to show said professor that this crap actually exists and it is as you said it was( causing me to get an 92% on the paper.) You watch the Road Warrior movies and return to CN just so you can use it for a sig/avatar combo... Not that I've ever done that... Build a computer out of parts salvaged from dumpsters so you can return to CN...Not that I've ever done that either... When fellow internet junkies stage an "intervention" because of your growing CN habit(This happened twice).

I find it most fascinating that the only piece of political rebuttal that Hegemony has to Karma is, "You're going to be just like us." Then when we prove that we aren't you guys talk smack about that too. We recognize that some people are merely defending their allies via treaties. It's not those people we ever really had a beef with. Naturally, they'll get better terms as they were, in the end, interested in a more diplomatic solution. NPO isn't going to get these terms because you made it clear years ago that you weren't interested in diplomacy with many of us. I know when I tried to solve my problems with NPO in a more civilized manner I got ridiculed (and some pretty harsh OOC treatment that was pretty vulgar even by my lax standards) you didn't want to listen then, listen now. We are not you, we will never be you and if any of us become you, you can bet your $@! I'll be the first to call them out on it. We didn't want it to be this way. We tried talking things out over the last two years but you wouldn't have it. This is the result of your own failures at diplomacy. To come in here now and criticize us when we've plainly shown that every effort is being made to be lenient, then turn around and continue to threaten us is just absurd. I see no logic in your views. I think you should go back home and have your master write up another party line for you guys to parrot at us. This one is lame.

Strange post from a guy in an alliance who responded to our constant pleas for a better world with " You don't like it? Do something about it. Might make right." and other phrases often used by a totalitarian dictatorship such as that which you describe. If we're fascist then what are you? Heroes? Saviors? Your arrogance in thinking that this world cannot get along without your iron fist and often bragged about jackboots is what got you in this mess. Your posts have shown that not only do you have no idea what's going on or what this is about, but that you have learned nothing about how it got to be this way. When it's back is to the wall, even a mouse will fight it's way out. You would do well to remember that.

Wolverine has discovered a ground breaking diplomacy tactic. Get your friends and your enemies to hate you so they have common ground on which to build the foundation for future peace talks. Not how I'd do it, but it's been working in this thread it seems like.

Ah but was it not Moo-Cows himself that said that every alliance accepts information when confronted with NPO's own spy network? If that's not admittance of guilt, I don't know what is. It's the difference between staying up all night worrying about the world going to hell and getting a good night's rest because the world is going to hell and you've got work to do in order to make sure it doesn't.
