Sadly, Bama, this is true more often than not. Believe me, any questions about the recent cancellations have been asked, usually that sort of thing happens in private, as you are well aware. There may even be a post or two about it around here somewhere. I'm not digging through all the threads to find it. Never the less, I do see your point to a certain degree. We never said we were perfect, anyone who's ever met me can attest to that. We just don't like the way people have been treated around here and we're sick of it. On that, many can agree. So many years of being told, " Well, if you don't like it do something about it, lulz" has resulted in the current climate we see here today. If "might makes right" is all your enemy understands then what recourse are you to have when they refused our attempts at diplomacy for years(often times resulting in ridicule) or heck, even attempts to make amends for past wrongs in a less... childish manner?( I myself was ridiculed harshly for merely wanting to state my case. While I feel I did wrong, I should have at least been allowed to present my side without the childish B.S. that NPO pulled before I had to quit for the better part of a year. It was only upon my return a month ago I was able to open dialogue with Moo and settle things more civily. Point is it shouldn't have been that way.), spied on enemy and ally alike, and destroyed something very unique and special to me that I will never get back. For this, they burn. At least for me.

Bama, I've always had respect for you. It is with that respect that I ask; If NPO's life sucks so much the what's the only constant there? I mean really, if one person is being a jerk and treating everyone else who's stood by them like they only exist to further their own agenda, what would you do? A real friend never asks their friends to choose.

I've stood by my friends more than you could ever imagine. I've sacrificed more than your pitiful $@! ever has. As you have been so kind to indulge, allow me to reposte. What I'd like is for you to be the NPO that doesn't EZI people for spying when you do it yourselves under the guise of "Alliance Security". What I'd like is not to be [OOC]ridiculed[/OOC] when I asked to state my case the first four times only to come back after about an 8 month absence and pretty much had to beg just so I didn't have to hide my reroll so I didn't get hunted down like a dog. What I'd like, Pacifican is to walk across Bob knowing that even though rulers dislike, hate or even downright despise one another they still show each other mutual respect. A respect which, should be shown because it is only right to do so. None of that matters to you does it? After all, it's ok if NPO does it, because the only thing that matters to NPO is NPO. We were allies once. Before your lackey and his screenshots tore my former home apart. So I don't hate you Pacifican... I hate what you've done to good people. I hate the corner you forced them into, and when their backs touch the wall and they start lashing out, I hate that you guys have the unmitigated gall to come out here and condemn them for that which you do. The actions of NPO are not those of a confident alliance who are comfortable with themselves and their place in the world. At first, I was really mad at TORN but now I feel badly for them. Getting set up sucks, especially when their friends who they trust are the ones telling them to pull the trigger. It's despicable that they got caught up in all this nonsense but there it is. I'm confident that TORN will do the right thing. After all, they're not monsters like the NPO( ba dum tish!). In any event, NPO has a history of setting people up and accepting spied information, so I really have no sympathy at all for them. How could I, after what so many have been put through for doing so much less(Including, myself)? I don't see how anyone could. [OOC] It just makes me so damn angry that after what people like me, Jonathan Brookbank, Chickenzilla, GATO, and FAN have had to do to stay in this game... derision, libelous statements, OOC attacks(in some cases), and just about every other form of indignity a person can go through in an environment such as this, that NPO would actually have the marbles(not the one's upstairs) to defend accepting spied information and resorting to what amounts to thug tactics in order to keep their precious illusion of power is evidence enough to warrant our outrage. By NPO's own words and deeds their alliance security is more important than our own alliances' security. I can see where they're coming from there...but no. To me, my alliances' security is more important, And who the $%&@ are you people to act like you're the only people who's security matters? You make me sick. This isn't NPO Nations, and it never was. In the words of you and your allies, " Come clean now and this will be so much easier". That's what you like to say right? Time to put your money where your mouth is. You never answered my question. If you hate spies so much, why do you keep ColPanic as a member? After all, he was the one responsible for us receiving screens of your forums, which you say is an unforgivable offense and threat to your alliance security and all that B.S. Your hypocrisy smells like fear.

So NPO has never done anything unscrupulous? What about ColPanic? He's the one who originally had screenshots of NPO's forums when he was in Atlantis. You guys gave us the choice of disbanding or bending over and accepting your "Viceroy". Where's he at now? Look at that, he's in NPO... big surprise. Bear in mind that this was while we were supposed "allies". If you didn't trust us, then why pretend and sign a treaty in the first place? Don't give me that crap about " keeping your enemies even closer" because it's a cop-out and everyone knows it. If I had to pay for spying on you because of that, then what should happen to you NPO? The People of The Wastes know this feeling well. It's where we go when we die. The Symphony of Destruction shall begin after The Last Sound Check. We'll all feel it right before the music starts to play. Defenders of the Faith say that the world grinds to a halt when that music starts to play. There is a certainty there. A kind of trust that brutality is indeed the natural order. Hence, respect should be given. When the fists fly, that's all you have.

If memory serves me correctly... the logs concerning spying in TPF were my logs with yogi following some disturbing PM's I came across in a security sweep(freelance diplomats suck) when I was MoFA. Which, I discussed with Slayer. Consider that my vain attempt at trying to salvage my home. Anyway... Max Rockatansky fills the dirt back in, and replaces the flowers and the bottle of Jim Beam on Atlantis' grave as she deserves her rest and none of this really matters anymore.
