1.
Stop trying to ask other people to conform to your views. That is their choice and the very act of posting this here should hopefully only end up as a waste of peoples' time.
It is indeed our choice to consider The Order of the Black Rose's views, and to take from them what we will, or not. If we wish to hear them out, and can respectfully agree to disagree on some points, or work to refine others, is it not our right as individual nation rulers to do so? Perhaps it is true that OBR is arguing from a position of strategic weakness relative to far more bellicose and arrogant alliances like my own. (Yes, arrogant. Our Pandora's Box totem Sin is Pride, after all). I could argue in turn that Vox Populi was in a far worse position at its start, and caution you that those who tried to shout them down here had only limited success in the end. If, however, this topic is indeed a waste of our time, perhaps you would be better off not wasting our time further in demanding that they conform to your views of what is appropriate behavior within this communications medium?
 2.
Cheerios don't deserve to be called cereal.
Perhaps the "Purina People Chow" brand name was already trademarked?
 3.
What is anything less than a group of 5 people? A collection of rogues?
I'd think it would be seen as a small group of like-minded people, perhaps, but one that would be hard-pressed to handle much in the way of external affairs while supporting mutual defense and nation growth. They needn't be considered "rogues", unless that's the path of disruption they chose to take.
 4. I suppose I could join the select few by lamenting that the New Sith Order has survived for so long as a gadfly in the face of other, more distinguished alliances - a cold, pale reflection of past Pacifican glory, etc., etc. However, I would be lying.
If all you do is make ridiculous and absurd assumptions without basis, then how do you expect us to refute such things?
That's easily enough done by keeping things interesting for another two years.
 5. Congratulations to Celestial Being, Misfit Nations, and Kingdom of Hyrule on achieving peace on this front. It should be noted that these "micros" have fought longer in this war than many larger alliances on other fronts, with the hostilities including Viridian Entente, New Polar Order, and Siberian Tiger Alliance - hardly a "micro" risk to any of them. I'm pleased that all the "nice knowing you" comments each received in their DoW announcements have, to date, been proven overly premature. Although I personally would have referred that the Misfits relied on VE for their rebuilding and omitted the reparations, at least I'm willing to recognize that they represent just how far Kingdom of Hyrule had to be pushed before their eventual surrender.
 6.
You're in capable hands with AZTEC.
Seconded, and not just because Nueva Vida is an ally to VE. AZTEC does have their act together.
 7. Congratulations on making it to the 4-year milestone!
 8.
I read the OP, and I though honorable move. Then I read some posts and I was like and
After reading the discussion to date, I'd have to agree that both impressions are correct.
 9. Dragon p0rn for the win! o/ Argent As to their opponents - if Aurora Borealis is worth Argent's attention they can't be all bad.
 10.
Allow me to lend a hand to my esteemed allies in Nordreich. (Description deleted for brevity, original available via separate correspondence. - HD) Hope that clears things up.
I'm somewhat uncertain as to whether I should be more concerned that I understood that, or that I should only understand that I may have reason to be concerned.
 11.
No re-entry prevention clause? ...
It's worse than that. No Florida.
 12.
The Sandwich Confederation, through Article IV, of the optional NEATly Pact Sandwiches Treaty, hereby declares war on the United Blue Directorate in support of Nations Empowered Against Totalitarianism. We will support NEAT until NEAT has signed a peace agreement; no less, no more. Until that time, :salute:
You've stated why your reasoning for declaring war, who it is against, and your primary terms for peace, clearly and without slighting anyone else involved. In addition, you've kept your public composure. That has gotten to be terribly unusual these days, so regardless of the "side" you are on I'll wish you luck in the fight and an honorable end to the hostilities when they cease.
 13.
You tempt to find something menial to make an announcement about.
You say that as if it would be a bad thing and not an amusing distraction.
 14.
So they come in when NSO gets countered, right?
The way I read the treaty, it would be neither required nor prohibited. An alliance countering either or PR would just have to take its chances and live with the results. It looks like a good move for both the New Sith Order and Phoenix Rising, so it will be fun to see who it upsets.
 15.
Sorry if we danced too hard NV.
No need to be sorry - Nueva Vida doesn't break. You guys won't either.
 16. It's been 5 years of The Neutral (Green) Menace already?

Obvious joke nominations will be ignored, however joke nominations that are actually funny might receive a shoutout.

o7 GPA for being able to take a bit of ribbing in opening up the HoF nominations.
 17.
Simple enough there was a situation UNRELATED to the current large drama of the VE-NpO war, that could have be handled with some simple diplomacy in which the NPO was willing to help but there were leader(s) of Thessaly who are determined to make a mountain out of a molehill. So we told them that if they are bound to take this course then we would not support them in it.
That's pretty much what the FEB/Thessaly situation looked like, given the actual announcement. I doubt that many alliances willing to take on protectorates haven't found themselves in similar situations, at one time or another.
Then again I guess one will find fault with anything announced by the NPO just because we are the NPO.
It's more entertaining to pretend this is all a subtle ploy on the part of NPO to ensure Total Global Domination.
 18. In deference to the previous suggestions regarding PB involvement: The Peanut Butter Polar Time War. That ought to be good for some awful propaganda images. Considering how VE and NpO just won't leave each other alone, we really should just shut up, get a room, and nuke each other so everyone else can get some sleep.
 19.
Actually, they wouldn't have told us. NV is a pretty awesome ally, and they get a pass on small infractions.
Whether they would have informed STA, and if so, when, and to what extent, should have been Nueva Vida's call to make.
We have faith in them, you see. You should try it.
From what I gather, it was less a lack of faith in Nueva Vida's ability to find an equitable solution than a failure in our own ability to keep them informed. Whether by accident, time constraints, or missed connections, it's still regrettable.
 20.
Did they attack us? We haven't noticed.
Whether it was one nation attacking or a hundred, they're still good people to have at one's side. The fact that you couldn't take notice of it doesn't change my position.
 21.
Who're you guys again?
Good people to have at your side, which I'm certain Polaris can say for STA as well.
 22.
Very poor indeed. Combined, you're coalition suffered more losses.
Haven't you ever heard the phrase "This is going to hurt me more than you"?
 23.
Oh god that's a scary prospect, NSO allied to the Rose. No my friend, in fact I'm on your (well Rok's anyway ) side, Hadrian is on the "NSO" side, and the Rosular Kingdom is neutral to this conflict, quite unconcerned, and could careless, save for the popcorn that was provided on the OWF. But than again I cannot speak for my government, only myself.
I was only addressing the "no one coming to their aid" aspect of your previous statement. Whether justice has been served or not, this time, isn't as much my concern as supporting RoK without unnecessarily maligning our opponents.
 24.
lol. I on the the other hand find the CB too be good, if not perfect. However, considering the Sith have lost half their NS and no one is coming to their aid, Justice has been done.
I could be mistaken, but I believe that NSO asked their allies not to take direct part in this conflict.
 25.
I hope this comes back to haunt you.
The Viridian Entente has screwed up more than once in the past and paid for the blunder, directly or not. There's no reason to doubt that it will happen again in the future. Perhaps it will be the Sith prosecuting that mistake, perhaps it won't.
