1. wouldn't take long before the rest of CN allies against you and then the 'fun' is over
2. I don't think you should choose an alliance based on how good their TC program is, since you'll only have to deal with the TC business once. Your best bet is to get good resources at the start, and then go from there, it'll be easy that way.
3. I'll echo what AirMe said, it will be nice to see new faces in the game, a whole new alliance of new faces. Good luck out there!
4. It's actually a pretty good recruiting message. I won't be surprised if a lot of alliances start going this route to increase exposure. Not something I'm particularly overjoyed about, but congrats nonetheless for thinking of doing it
5. I missed this, but it looks good. Usually talk like this is restricted within the alliance, so sometimes you don't find enough people wondering about the very small tweaks a nation can make to grow faster. I'll be auto-joining to see how it's like
6. This was a good read. It would be nice to see more of these coming, they make me laugh.
7. It was great fun back when I was in Zenith, so this is sad to see, but not unexpected, as I had heard of inactivity But on towards a brighter future! Good luck guys
8. I wish people would use the number instead of the number of stars... My environment is 5.79, but I swap in border walls sometimes on collection. East Samnor Note on the swap: If you're wondering what's best to do, since the border wall takes ~2 improvement swaps, it's about equivalent to +2 happiness (if you're above the GRL by 3 or 4 points), so 2 churches or 1 BW is the about the same, so I try to end off with a border wall, giving myself the "-1" slots available message.
9. Before the competition, the week before, the average nations created per day was 150-160. We are now seeing ~200-250, that's a *huge* increase. Probably a lot due to the two recruitments, but also the Facebook thing. And people shouldn't worry about how many people delete, since all other things being equal, an increase in the nations created per day is good news. I wonder how long this will keep up?
10. Congrats Nordreich, now out with your tactics!
11. This is not surprising, but it does make me smile.

Do you Like it?

In the short term it looks like you're getting ~200 new members daily instead of the usual 175. That's a good increase!
13. I'll add a quick point. If you're serious about growing in the long term, you will want to start your wonder buying as soon as is feasible and *never* stop buying wonders. I got my first wonder at ~35 days, and although it might slow me down initially compared to those who pour everything into infra, in the long run you'll "always" have 1-2 more wonders than someone who created at the same time you did. My stats (at 58 days now): 3,350 infra 50 tech (still selling tech) 1 wonder (2 in 10 days time)
14. What is your population density? I suppose it shouldn't matter too much, but higher soldier count leads to higher density, which may or may not have a gradual negative effect on population. As an aside, note that when collecting make sure your soldier efficiency number is less than 60% of your citizen population. For you that's 62,536, and you're over (65,246) so you lose 1 environment point.
15.
I was actually right over there. Also, GRL is already below 3.00! It's dropping really fast now. Maybe we will even see it drop below 1.00 in a week or so
This is why I'm waiting to collect I was right on the button with my 3 week to get below 2 guess
16.
Reading comprehension. Just as I said many times earlier in this thread; I suspect they will be asked to demilitarize. The word "and" implies the conjunction and supplementation. If I had used the word "then", as in "demilitarize then surrender" you might have a point (but only to target my phrasing and not the actual demand) Otherwise, all of the reps threads which state "X money and Y tech" would mean they had to fulfill the money first lest they be in violation. You don't actually believe that. You don't need to pretend that you do for theatrics here.
I don't think you can attempt to make that out as anything except what it says. Lord Rune is right, anyone reading that will read it exactly as intended, meaning the demilitarization and surrender comes before the table talking. Take the hypothetical that they surrender but don't demilitarize. Then as per what you wrote, discussion of terms will not occur. X will not happen until Y and Z occur. Doesn't matter what order Y and Z occur, *both* have to happen before X occurs. Edit: just read your post before this one, cool.
17. Going out with a bang on GGA was 'cool' over a year and a half ago, stop living in the past man!
18. Very impressive. It's nice to see an alliance where everyone knows the right way to build a prosperous nation
19. What is the history of this relationship? I thought that this may have already existed, and got downgraded at some point?
20.
You left something out....
I left argent out because I don't think I fought any of your nations, although I did hear you were doing pretty well on your end
21. I was in Zenith at the time, fought with some PC and some RAD nations, and then we peaced out after 2 weeks of fighting. No leadership roles at this time, just a foot soldier. The end of the war was perfect for me, as I was vacationing from my nation for about a week, and wouldn't have been able to fight at all. In that war I went down 1k in tech, up 3-4k land, and down 5k infra rebuilt instantly after the war (too much money on hand). This was a time where I felt very bored with the game. I had made it into the top 300 nations, felt there wasn't too much left to reach for, so I ended up joining TPF after my vacation to get a few more wars in before I deleted. Had a great time and then enjoyed my CN-free summer/year. Just rejoined a bit over a month ago, still not sure I should have
22. It's not awful. If you could handle having that button on the front page of your nation, we might actually have a chance at keeping the number of nations in CN at least constant, and maybe grow. Facebook is the largest social networking site you could ask for to tap into for new members. This is a great idea, I'm a little surprised it hasn't been tried until now. tl;dr don't complain it's for the health of the game Edit: It's not an Add for facebook, it's a link to promote Cybernations via facebook. Edit2: I understand the complaint about it being front and center, maybe keep it there for 2,3 months, and then put it somewhere less obtrusive?
23.
That's with IRON/DAWN and Gre still nuking eachother every day, etc. The earlier the war ends, the faster the GRL should go down, in theory.
True, but iirc the GRL is an average over 30 days, so the effects of the war ending today won't be seen for 30 days. Correct me if I'm wrong though
