  1. It would make it better if you couldn't see other nations, or maybe you could just see those in your alliance? To make it harder to find the hotspot. Maybe there should be several hotspots so that 3 people couldn't find out where the hotspot is through triangulation? I'm also interested as to the reasoning behind the price increase due to land and military, as AA has said above.
  2. I've confirmed after buying the soldiers that the efficiency is applied contrary to what is shown above. So this is a typo.
  3. When I'm at 0 soldiers and I try to buy, say 100 soldiers, it says this: It doesn't show the right efficiency number, it doesn't multiply the 100 by my GCs and Barracks increases. I'm fairly certain it's something to do with buying soldiers from *zero*, because I've had others test it and it shows the right efficiency numbers. I have 5 GCs and 5 Barracks.
  4. What's the cost for upgrading your % citizens if you grow and want to store more citizens?
  5. But isn't it not as good to "store" 8% of your population if you're only at 3k infra, rather than at a larger infra? That means it's more profitable to larger nations, thus the increased cost. I suppose it depends on what "store" means (anyone know?). I actually think *all* wonder prices should scale with NS, because they can afford it.
  6. Just got into the #1 defending casualties
  7. Area of Influence (My nation - West Samnor): 10,391.425 mile diameter. 8,643.712 in purchases, 1,296.557 in modifiers, 451.156 in growth Area of Influence (Combatant's nation - Kanto): 10,163.096 mile diameter. 7,703.697 in purchases, 1,864.295 in modifiers, 595.105 in growth but on our war battle screen it says this: Attacking Land Area (me): 9,527.054 Defending Land Area (him): 10,163.096 His land is correct, but somehow mine is not. It's not even land without modifiers either... I'm confused about this, can admin or someone else enlighten me? Nation links: (mine) http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...ation_ID=100000 (his) http://www.cybernations.net/nation_drill_d...Nation_ID=10294
  8. This man is smart, and correct.
  9. Give me your email plz - it's sad to see you leave, but I understand your thoughts completely. You were also very high on my list of people I admired, especially the way you were able to express your thoughts on paper (forums ) Keep in touch man.
  10. The reason many people leave the game or never get into the game in the first place is 1)-because for those who aren't involved or have no desire (or time) to be very involved in the politics of the game, there is no chance to reach the same heights that the old nations now have reached (ie Wonder Clock, tech importing problems), and 2)-because the old nations have nothing left to strive for (no more Wonders, a cap on the level of infra that's useful, the monotonous tech importing, unused improvement slots, etc, etc, etc...) We will never see another increase in CN membership that lasts any amount of time until these problems are fixed, it's as simple as that.
  11. Whups didn't see you there - ah well Congrats again guys
  12. Haha I saw the signatures and realized every single one of those rulers is previously from GGA But that aside, this is nice to see. Good luck to both of your alliances
  13. Why did you change your forum name to ender land recently?
  14. TPF congratulations on making it to 2, and I know that you've got a bright future ahead of you this year. Keep strong!
  15. Yus, created mostly by members from Gremlins before the last war but right after Gremlins and TOP did a fake merge, treatied with Umbrella/Athens (had to look the Athens treaty up), warred GGA in the previous war, Wolverine made a "baw" thread about war is why it stuck in my mind. You're a new alliance but full of experienced members.
  16. Props to Olympus for supporting us and just being overall great people! o/ Olympus
  17. Jim - a nice gesture, you've been one of the most considerate players in CN, and that's before this thread as well. Sande - if you want your land back, you'll have to war me for it
  18. I must agree with this man. Congratulations on the newcomers, hopefully getting things moving for GGA in the future
  19. I tend to agree with nc here - I warred and took 7 nukes, and only ended down 400 land, which isn't bad considering a nuke takes out almost 200 land. In a nuclear war, there are many, many methods in-game of stealing that tech back through ground attacks. I like the idea that any land beyond a certain amount has to be warred for, and is simulating the overcrowding of Bob (even if that might not be the intent) in the upper tiers. I would support making land more reasonable to buy, to an extent.
  20. go find another alliance to bug Carter. I'm glad to see this, very glad
  21. Well fought RAD and PC (and Argent I so I hear ). It's been the most fun I've had in some time, and all parties remained very courteous throughout. I wish you luck as you continue along your paths. (Special props to Silverion who is the best fighter I've encountered on the battlefield.) NADC, you're a great ally, and I'm proud to say that Zenith is allied to all of you. TPF - sorry we couldn't stay at the party longer, good luck and we'll see you on the other side.
  22. It's bugged me for a while. Change to I don't think I've ever heard a canadian call our currency "Canadians". If that name is too long, you can use "CAD"?...
  23. Awesome idea I'd fly it.
