There is nothing "fun" on Facebook in terms of games except for things that make you go 'click' about 500 every day, pester people with/for stupid "gifts" and in general demonstrate how much of an insipid nerd you are, until the day comes that you figure out you can't keep up with your friends unless you lay down real cash for special items and either start dishing up your credit card or rage quit.

Join GPA. Solid neutral alliance. Long standing member of the Planet Bob community. Offers you the opportunity to make friends, learn the game, point and laugh at people making a braying donkey of themselves.

Also, trading, tech dealing and lots of work are the keys of success. Wherever you got THAT information from is probably GOONS or just plain raiders, which is why you join alliances.

Also, you haven't done ANYTHING to help your nation. Aska for some aid or even just buy infra. You have no trades and no infra, no tech. What are you doing? You haven't done crap.

I'll echo a previous comment and encourage you to apply to the Green Protection Agency. They'll offer you protection and you'll never have to go to war since they're neutral.

GPA, TDO, WTF, any of these would work.

If you can't play, don't whine. Fun is here, you just have to go look for it.

It seems your understanding of this game is crippled, with the key to having a successful time is to get involved. This is why I have chosen to continue to play CyberNations and do fun stuff in my alliance. Maybe one day you will rejoin when you realise CyberNations is good.

The key to a successful nation is to be part of a good alliance that helps you build it up. Low level unaligned play is not CN.

No, 70% of this game is on IRC.

But I wouldn't say that calling these forums "useless" is as off-base as some might think. They aren't absolutely useless, but joining these forums isn't a make or break in this game, nations would be much better served getting on IRC and being active in their own alliance's forums. I don't think I'd be losing much if i decided to never visit these forums again, It would just be harder to keep up-to-date on things, but by no means would it cripple my game experience.
