So I'm noticing more than a few people with names or avatars with themes that are from movies or TV shows or comics that can be described as well nerdy. You have Centurius as Rumple from "Once Upon a Time", Loki Laufeyson from Marvel, and me from "Grimm" not to mention numerous mods and other players with names, avys, and sigs from sci-fi and fantasy. No one else in my personal life is as big of a nerd as I am so I figure I'll get my nerdgasms out of my system here.

One of the more interesting things is how players engage in self regulation-they have established a system of rules as to how alliances may conduct themselves. A common standard has been established, which can be referred to as the norms of the world.
Effectively, we reach the point were even if you have no knowledge of the rulers of an alliance, you can assume that they will act in a certain way because they are playing by the same guideline

Keeping it short: I never understood why people consider their and everyone's treaties like they were pieces of a domino. I am talking of the idea of engaging "this" alliance or "that" one because of the defensive treaties that would be activated, trying to bring as much firepower to your side while you try to limit the firepower activated on the other side.
