...An Idea Who's Time Has Come

Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in this blog are solely those of Loki Laufeyson and not those of my alliance, House Baratheon, or any other entity.

For the two years I've been a part of the CN community I don't think I've seen this amount of stagnation, degeneracy, and decline. The continued oppression of micros and neutrals at the hands of the upper-crust alliances, the downright hypocrisy that runs rampant in CN politics are all things that drive valuable members of the community away. I sadly admit that I am also guilty of these things, and before I go any further I would like to apologize. The only thing I can ask myself and my fellow players is "how did we let it get this far?" "How did we fall from a prosperous and thriving community, to a dreadful place where trolling and idiocy are the order of the day?" If you ask me, it truly is a shame.

CN needs a revolution. Point blank, period. I cannot be more serious. The overthrow of the upper-crust alliances by the underprivileged in CN society, is a necessary action that must be taken. Now I know the same hypocrites who claim to want to bring change to CN, will read this message of revolution and scoff at it. I do not know whether or not it is because they have nothing better to do, or if it is because of the person delivering the message. Regardless, I laugh at each and every one of you (you know who you are) and I think that your type are pathetic.

I seriously hope that each and every one of you, especially the micros and neutrals, are able to figure out who your true enemy is and unite before it is too late. Rest assured, a storm is coming to CN. With all the power TPTB have, they will not be able to stop the idea who's time has come. Thank you.

Good lord.

Stop playing. I'm dead serious. You clearly aren't happy here - go play NS or Bloc or Pixel Nations or AR or find a !@#$@#$ hobby.

Or start a revolution yourself and quit with all the talk. More Lenin less Andy from The Office.

This isn't 2007. No it's not. Get a grip.

It would make for a fun little war, i guess. The underprivileged army circling a hill at its bottom while the privileged sat and sipped iced drinks at the top of the hill. Occasionally throwing an olive pit at some unprivileged soldier's nose.

Changing the system takes dedication and hard work. It means organizing. It means giving up the childish attitude that the game and community somehow owe you a fruitful existence. It means practicing the art of diplomacy and understanding how these big, bad alliances actually work.

And by the time you've done all of that, you'll discover that you're a part of the system, and it isn't as bad as you thought. These institutions that you once despised as monolithic, hegemonic tools of oppression are actually the well-oiled machines that you need if you want to successfully play the game.

The organization and "revolution" that you are asking for is already here. It's happened a hundred times before, and continues. And when you finally achieve it, it won't look like revolution to the people at the bottom -- because they aren't equipped with the maturity or experience to recognize it.

Who are "the powers that be" that you would have us small alliances rise up against and what would you want done after we win?

Because if it actually GETS ME (i.e. Lander Clan in particular) SOME WAR, I might consider it. :D

(or am I part of the powers that be, being that the nation of Lander Clan is above 140,000 at this point?)

By the time you struggle enough to become a threat to the establishment, you end up part of the establishment. If you succeed in destroying the establishment, you then become the establishment.

If you are wondering why CN politics seems cyclical, it's because it is.

Still salty that I made you look like an idiot on the OWF I see.

Micros are not your private army.

I never said they were... I'm saying that all micros should unite and fight against the oppression by the upper-crust.

Basically all the upper-crust alliances.

Even if we do become a part of the system, my main goal would always be to change the system.

Total NS in the world is 319 million NS

The sanctioned alliances alone make up 100 million of that.

You only need the top 26 alliances to hit 160 million NS-more than half the games strength.

So who is going to bring down these elite?
