It's ridiculous that three alliances are now above a sanctioned alliance just because of the 200 member count. Back when it was set that an alliance needed 200 members there were around 40K players, that amount has since halved. Anyways, it's nice to return and see us flirting with the tier 1 barrier. I'm sure sanction is just around the corner now [/quote] i dont recall the date but it was over a year ago when we went from needing 300 members to only needing 200. well the total number of players has gone down a lot since then its not as large a change as you may think if you forget about the 300->200 change. I'll be honest - I'm toying with the idea of basing the Add Line on the 12th alliance overall, regardless of nation count. Especially if this becomes an extended situation. [/quote] Yeah actually thinking back I think the rule came change for sanctioned alliances came into play during UjW, so that would have been 2 years ago. Still I believe we were above 30K players back then, and most alliances, with a few exceptions, have now hovered around much smaller peak membership levels. Seriously, they all aren't that special in culture or government structure, but for some reason everyone and their mother wants their own alliance.
