1. For months the people endured under the oppresive Indian government , now it seems they had have enough. Millions of angry citizens have taken upon themselfs to make an stand in the capital of New Delhi , an the leader of the resistance Yamual had this to say."It is up to us to kead India in the derction she needs to go in we don't need an oppresive government and greedy people behind it telling us what is best."
2. The Confederated States of Russia is a nation situated in northern Eurasia. The Confederated States of Russia is a federal country with a president as the head of state and separate governors for the various states that make up the whole of the nation. The current president is Joseph Putin who was named after two great Russian leaders of the past. The various states that make up the whole of the Confederated States of Russia are named after great Russian leaders of the past these being: the central and capital state of Stalin, the western state of Lenin, the northern state of Khrushchev, the southern state of Brezhnev and the eastern state of Gorbachev. The people of the Confederated States of Russia are a unified people in most respects however, different states may be slightly inclined more towards different points of view depending on the topic of conversation. For example the eastern state of Gorbachev is the most religiously active state in the C.S.R and as such the people there put more focus on religious freedom than other areas such as political or freedom of speech. The occupants of the western state of Lenin, more usually seen as a bulwark against European expansion are more opposed to foreign individuals than citizens from the other states. However, all citizens, except for a small minority numbering between twelve to fifteen percent of the entire population, are very supportive of the government especially in the western and central state. The president is voted in by popular vote every six years with a single president only being able to hold two terms in office at the most before having to give up their position. The governor of each state is voted by the people of the state they are running for every year and like the president no governor may serve more than two terms in office. The economy of the Confederated States of Russia stands strong and the nation provides a large amount of oil, natural gas, metals and timber as export products. Agriculture with in the C.S.R stands strong as well, though not to the level of its other areas of industry, significant improvements in wheat farming has allowed the nation to begin exporting excess wheat and the amount of meat produced within the nation has also tripled in recent years. Military wise the Confederated States of Russia maintains a strong armed force for security of the homeland and for any deployments abroad that the President may mandate. It is mandatory for all male citizens aged between 18-28 to be drafted for a year of service in the Armed Forces. The nation maintains a vast and fully indigenous arms industry with the nation producing almost all of its own equipment only if foreign equipment is deemed largely superior will it be imported. Internationally the Confederated States of Russia is looking to establish working relations with its closest neighbors in the interest of enhancing national security. Once this has been achieved then the C.S.R will likely look to expand its diplomatic horizons.

4. A once proud nation that was dismantled and destroyed by those before it, Novak has risen again. President James Nova, the once great ruler who brought about the most prosperous country in the Middle East and Africa, would have been saddened to see what became of his country. His children scattered across the region shortly after the formation of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Novak. The SSRN, a beacon of power not seen in the Middle East since the Ottoman Empire, brought in wealth to the people as well as sever oppression. Akhmed Shakir fled, after the fall of his government, to avoid the domestic persecution he could face as a result of his former allies splitting the territory. With the end of Novak came the end of the century-long experiment of peace in the Middle East. Today, Shakir’s heirs still live in the southern region of the old Novaki nation. The region is in disrepair. Neglect from centuries of foreign leadership has destroyed the wealth of Novak, sapping it for their gain while leaving nothing. There is anger, but hope for the return of the Soviet Socialist Republic. The prosperity under their rule was second to none, but the younger generation which yearned for this past knew it would not succeed. Not without leaders like Nova and Shakir. To honor her grandfathers’ role, Khaleda Shakir worked her way through the political system, independent of any party. She made deals, improved her country and eventually became the president of Novak. Once again, the region will know prosperity that has been unknown to the citizens for centuries. Shakir would make her inaugural address, detailing her hopes and dreams for her nation, a united federation of people from Oman, Yemen, Ethiopia, Djibouti, UAE, Somalia and Eritrea. A nation of differences and similarities, united in the Middle East’s strongest democracy.
5. The Constant The Constant, former Imperial sectors, Boz Pity, Bimmissaari, and Charros IV having lost all contact with the greater Empire are alone. Since the rebellion began a ominous pillar of dark energy could be seen above the skies in all three sectors, it was only a matter of time before The Fall. For roughly nine days Grey Jedi-General Quaron the Pitiless of the 777th Imperial Army, a force numbering over 300,000 clones, felt the wrath of the dark gods when reality rent itself and trapped them in these sectors. During The Fall, nearly everyone lost a part of themselves as sanity became insanity. The dark whispers of power and impossible magicks, plagued the 777th all the while. On the 9th day of The Fall, the 777th came to. Scattered amongst three sectors, they'd lost any and all contact with the greater Empire. Believing it defeated by the rebellion, Grey Jedi-General Quaron the Pitiless along with his trusted officers of the 777th decided that the empire must endure. Should it have fallen in the thirteen years that were to follow of their isolation due to ether-storms, storms within space which inhibit communication and travel, The Constant would stand. The Empire would live on through the last known loyalists, the 777th. When the members of the 777th and The Pitiless finally managed to regain some type of communications they reunited the entirety of the 777th, this was year nine of their isolation. In those previous nine years, Bimmissaari and Charros IV 777th Units had descended to anarchy and chaos, fighting amongst themselves as warlords vied for control of what would, under The Pitiless, become known as The Constant. The Pitiless and his loyalists regained control of the star fleet in hit and run tactics in which the Imperial Shards' a splinter navy was defeated by The Constant, and within the year Bimmissaari and Charros IV warlords were under heel of The Pitiless. With the Sectors of Boz Pity, Bimmissaari and Charros IV under heel and toe, the rebuilding efforts began. Yes, with some great effort and one new prototype, the clones began birthing again. Though not of Jango Fetts DNA, but of Zabrak DNA which hailed from The Pitiless. This rendered quite a large majority of the newly birthed clones to have some distant force capabilities. Nothing which could birth them into fully fledged force users, but it did improve most their physical limitations, they could run faster, jump higher, think quicker, learn at astonishing rates. But they had a drawback, the Zabrak clones of The Pitiless were deeply marred by a flawed matrix in their creations. They were utterly blind, and so to compensate were taught in force sensitivity to see with their minds and emotions, a type of power that could lead to destruction if not taught properly. It took nearly 9 years for a batch of Zabrak clones from creation to armament day. Only four batches had been completed by the time The Constant was able to regain full and total communication with the greater Empire once the storms abated, and what we awoke to... was anarchy. In short order The Constant sent out distress codes to any and all loyalist Imperials in the known Empire, hoping to find allies in this dark dark world. The Pitiless sat on his obsidian throne on Boz Pity, in deep meditation with the Sons of Quaron, his personal Grey Order of Jedi, hoping for some guidance in who and what was real. The Constant, last true thread of the known Empire for the past thirteen years was adrift in sea, amidst a swarm of sharks and other enemies. Fleet Strengths: Classified Fully Operational: 4 Victory Class Heavy Cruisers, 36 Lancer Frigates Damaged: 1 Sovereign Class Super Star Destroyer ( Hyperspace Drives malfunctioning, Stationed at the Boz Pity yards undergoing repair ) Unserviceable/Needs extensive repair:
6. Across the rolling hills of England and the mountains of Wales, a wind blew. A wind of change. Beginning in the primate city of London, local councils were formed and convened at the parish level, where members of all age, gender, race, and social status converged to discuss matters such as taxation, representation, social welfare, law enforcement, and many others. After much discussions, which would become raucous at times, the individual councils of London would convene a city-wide meeting to form the London Council. At roughly around the same time, local meetings would proliferate across England, following a complicated process in which parish councils would meet to elect district assemblies, which in turn would elect district assemblies. The process was similar in Wales, with boroughs councils being formed, which would elect county assembles in turn. A new nation was being built from the ground-up, originating from the people themselves. Representatives of the London Council would meet with representatives from the English district assembles for some more discussions. The same went for the Cardiff Council with the Welsh county assemblies. Eventually, the Council of England would be formed, to be followed up by the Council of Wales. Aaron Collier, Chairman of the Council of England, would meet with Gregory Davies, Chairman of the Council of Wales, in the city of Gloucester to discuss the formation of a sovereign nation encompassing the peoples of England and Wales. At first, Davies was not inclined to enjoin Wales into a nation that would be governed from London. He was concerned that Wales would be subsumed into England, citing historic reasons such as centuries of English domination over the Welsh people through laws such as the 1284 Statute of Rhuddian and the Laws in Wales Act passed in the sixteenth century. Collier reassured Davies that Wales would have the right to a self-governance through a devolved national assembly, but Davies objected to this, stating that the right would be granted and withdrawn by London at all. A heated argument ensued, and the meeting was put on hold. Later on, however, Davies would relent, and propose something of a commonwealth, in which Wales and England would maintain separate legislative, legal and other systems. Collier accepted this, stating that Wales would have the right to legislate for itself, essentially proposing a federation in which England and Wales would become self-governing regions under a federal government. A debate over the proposed state's name ensued, with Davies proposing a 'Commonwealth of England and Wales', and Collier a 'United Republic of England'. Davies voiced concerns that the nation's name implied the 'subjugation' of Wales by England, and that such a political union would face a fate similar to Ireland. Collier offered the 'Union of Albion', and when that was rejected, sarcastically proposed the name of 'Airstrip One'. Finally, Collier and Davies agreed on 'Avalon' as a provisional name for the republic. The official name, along with the executive, legislature, and judiciary, would have to be fleshed out later, but at least a working framework of a nation was laid out. The two would publicly issue the Gloucester Declaration to the international community, proclaiming Avalon as a sovereign entity. Pending the formation of a permanent government, the English and Welsh Councils would form a joint Council of Avalon in which Collier and Davies would serve as the joint head of state and government. The provisional capital of the republic would be set in London and Cardiff. OOC: tl;tr: Avalon is formed in England and Wales. I'm back.
7. In the wake of the worldwide collapse of order the Indian subcontinent suffered greatly. Already impoverished by the standards of the West, without reliable utilities or communications throughout much of the land the people suffered harshly and cried out for a savior. Their prayers were heard, one would come to unite them, to lead them, and to make them mighty. Azmet Jah II was the last in a line of rulers stretching back almost 300 years. The head of the House of Asaf Jah had ruled Hyderabad, and been the wealthiest man in the world until it's riches were squandered among dozens of relatives in squabbling after it's annexation by the Republic of India. What was unknown was that a vast treasure had been secreted away over the years, diamond, rubies, gold, silver, alloys of electrum, and precious materials by the ton. The secret of the treasure was passed down from father to son, known only by the men whom still had claim to the title of Nizam of Hyderabad. After the Downfall this treasure was accessed by Azmet Jah II, and with such great wealth he stabilized the area surrounding his ancestral lands of Hyderabad. Where once there was darkness throughout the subcontinent a beacon of hope shone forth. The old states of Orissa, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka soon joined with Hyderabad as Azmet Jah II in a campaign to unite India under his banner. Few resisted the promise of a better life that the armies of Hyderabad and its confederates brought, regrettably an ignorant few did. The reunification took four long years but in the end none were able to resist. Threescore and ten years had passed since the fledging Republic of India had overthrown his great grandfather and subsumed Hyderabad, but now the flag of his house would fly from the Himalayas to the shores of Sri Lanka. India had not endured, but the Raj would. Long Live His Exalted Highness Azmet Jah II! OOC: Claim is RL India + Sri Lanka. Known as The Raj, official name is The Hyderabad Raj.

9. “Today, we rise from the ashes of Novak, Axum and those who came before us. The Republic of Sheba arrives to the world, uniting the tribes of Yemen, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia and Djibouti under the rule of democracy and equality. We will be a beacon of peace and prosperity in the Middle East and Africa,” announced President Ali Abdullah Saleh as he declared the formation of the new government to the populace and to the world. The new national flag draped behind him, with his wife on his left and Vice President on the right. With his grandfather passing before this glorious day, he could only hope he was looking down on him, proud of his grandson. Saleh, who remembers his grandfathers’ stories, wants to recreate the almost folklore nation of Novak, a former great and prosperous world power. Despite its immense changes, there was always the great cult of personality among the leaders, which aided in their worldly pursuits. If nothing else, he will bring the region out of poverty and into greatness once again.
10. French Guiana From this moment on, the territory of French Guiana declares itself a sovereign nation. 11. The NSNA National Kara DeHart Today, the territories of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa, have signed into accord the Mississippi Compact. The Mississippi Compact is a formal constitution declaring the intended sovereignty of the Northern States of New America under the leadership of General Robert Wallace, a native of Green Bay, WI. Under the Mississippi Compact, all three former territories will unite as one to provide for the general welfare and protection of the people here in the NSNA. In a quote taken from General Wallace's inauguration speech the aim of the NSNA is objectified. And so, it is with great happiness that I am tasked with announcing our existence. Please, feel free to contact our Foreign Minister, Paul Johnson, about opportunities existing within the Northern States of New America in regards to anything.
12. OOC: No idea how long I'll pay attention enough to do this but WHO CARES OOCa: Claim is in CNRP2 OOCb: My nation, Klaus Devestatorie, is over 50k NS, and so likely requires a vote. That said, I have no plans for military domination etc, I find that area of nation roleplay to be tedious; I would prefer to represent the size of my nation via being a financial hub. -+-+- The President of the Assembly called the vote, as superfluous as it was. Not a single voice was raised against. "I declare the vote to be in favor. All members, please come forward and sign the document, to formally approve the act." Despite the unusual buzz of mutual happiness in the chamber, the traditional process of signing the bill remained as ordered as ever. The assemblymen present, whether directly elected, indirectly elected or appointed, approached the front of the chamber one by one, without any queuing necessary, and attached their signature to the bottom of the act to formally extend the government of the territory of Macau over the surrounding province of Guangdong and the island province of Hainan. When it was done, the clerks carefully placed the signatures into a protective file and gave it to the President, who left the chamber through the same door that the other officials had already filed out of. President Lao Hu Zhai would ordinarily spend 20 minutes drinking tea with the other members (although mostly coffee in the modern age), but the bill passed today was of extraordinary significance, and the weight of importance of the document he carried almost made him nervous. He was more likely to accidentally spill his beverage on the file than be threatened with physical violence for its contents (even if his security detail was not present), but that wasn't exactly unrepresentative of where he was- Macau could not quite be described as the "Central Kingdom", but it was probably the wealthiest and most civilized part of it. He instead immediately took the elevator down to the underground car park, and entered the back of the government owned saloon car, to be driven with the bill to the old Governors House building so that the executive government may also sign, officially enacting the act as law. It was mid-morning, but the lights of many modern buildings still flashed every colour of the rainbow. There were not that many casinos in the now heritage listed part of Macau, but many offices and residential buildings were decorated to look like them. It was about image. Macau had always been a city of trade, for centuries a Portuguese colony, but the main source of income today is tourism, and tourists and bright strobing lights have a strange affinity for each other in more ways than the President cared to know. The saloon reached the Governors House without incident, and Assembly President Lao Hu Zhai was greeted as warmly as ever by the historical curator on the way to the traditional office of the former Governor. The bill was quickly signed by the rest of the executive government, with nothing but smiles all round. Tea and coffee were brought in by maids, but the President still had one traditional duty to do; donning ceremonial robes and carrying a bell, he opened the doors to the balcony overlooking the small courtyard, and ringing the bell, proclaimed the act and new Commonwealth for all those present to hear as loudly as he could. Of course, nobody was there. Nobody ever was, for any bill, act, treaty, or any other document. That was how Macau worked. Everyone, from the tourists, to the foreign servants, all the way up to the wealthiest CEOs and casino owners, were here to either make or spend money, and the popularity of the government was almost entirely down to how little it got in the way of the people's ability to do that in whatever way they deemed fit. The true beauty of Macau, and Lao Hu Zhai had high hopes about the willingness of the rest of the new Commonwealth to appreciate it. -+-+- By the mandate of the Cultural and Financial wealth of the Central Government of the Independent Territory of Macau; The Cultural Commonwealth of Macau is hereby formed, to be a bastion of legislative authority, cultural majesty, and monetary auspiciousness, out of the ashes of a largely directionless and poverty stricken Chinese subcontinent. The Cultural Commonwealth of Macau does hereby claim judicial, military and administrative control over the former Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Hainan, excluding the already governed proud city of Hong Kong. -+-+-

14. The people of northern Germany had, until recently, been living in anarchy; not the sort of anarchy one would expect with roving biker gangs dominating the landscape but the sort with various small principalities and city-states dotting the countryside, battling each other for control over minute territories. That all changed recently when, led by a middle-aged man from the outskirts of Potsdam, a group of people from throughout those parts of Germany not yet under the control of other nations decided to band together and truly unite. That man, Friedrich Marienberg, appealed to the people of northern Germany via radio, gaining support with his calm, confident voice and his eagerness to see the free lands of that area united under one banner. The various communities held a joint discussion and finally, they agreed to hold a region-wide election which resulted in the formation of the Landtag, a bicaramel legislative body that is divided between the lower-tiered Abgeordnetenhaus (or House of Representatives) and the Bundesrat (or Federal Council) and elections were soon held within five months with representatives from all the different states (Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg, Bremen, Saxony-Anhalt, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland Palatinate, Saarland, Hesse, and Thuringia). Next came who would be leader of this nation and the people overwhelmingly decided on having Marienberg as the King, albeit a constitutionalized one as they did not wish for him to have absolute power. Thus, another election was held, this time for the newly-established position of Chancellor with the results being Markus Koch of the Christian Democratic Union. Marienberg was crowned King of Brandenberg amidst a grand ceremony and much celebration; once that was done, the newly established government quickly established a military, the Reichswehr. A small army was assembled with rudimentary brown water patrol boats and small aircraft that would serve as transportation and improvised ground attack aircraft in times of war that was deemed adequate for the Kingdom's defense. Then came the more mundane matters; first, a national language (German) was established, the city of Berlin was quickly designated as the capital, and a flag was soon chosen: the red and white banner of the state that now shared its name with that of the nation. The people of northern Germany were ecstatic: their region was at last a united nation under one single creed. OOC: Welp, it's been quite a while since I last posted here, I'll try to keep up my activity here though it won't be easy since I don't often have access to the computer I have my CN passwords saved on. I will make a post up on the map shortly, basically I'm claiming northern Germany which hasn't been claimed as of yet as far as I can tell.
15. Belarus was a country that had suffered through the worst excesses of history. From a brutal Nazi occupation, to harsh Soviet rule, Belarusians have survived the worst its neighbors could throw at it. Who would have thought that one man could so utterly destroy it. That man, was none other than President Lukashenko, who took power shortly after Belarus found itself independent for the first time. Through gross mismanagement, Lukashenko single handedly destroyed the entire Belarusian economy, and caused a virtual collapse of central authority. Local governments soon took control, and Belarus was more of a geographical area than it was a country. Yet, this situation would continue, for about two decades, until a nationalist terrorist, Bel-A-Ryus, assassinated Lukashenko in what he no doubt believed to be an attempt to save the country. However, shortly after the assassination, the last remnants of government completely collapsed, an the country appeared to be on the edge of total anarchy. Fortunately for the Belarusians, the nation of Ubersteinia intervened, and created a protectorate in the area. Thus, the country spent a year and a half in a limbo, until the Ubersteinian government allowed a referendum for independence to take place. The people chose independence, and former speaker of the parliament Lukachenko (Not Lukashenko, Lukachenko) won the presidency, partially because Bel-A-Ryus, the terrorist, assassinated most other contestants. Long story short, the Republic of Belarus is a country... hopefully for a while longer than last time. OOC: I have received permission from Uberstein to do this in his (former) protectorate. And I suck at naming people :P
16. A jet liner touches down at the Nairobi International Airport, the first inbound international flight since the fighting began. Tourists shuffle into the terminal and are greeted by a banner reading 'Welcome to the Great Lakes Republic'. Employees smile and guide the foreigners to their luggage, quietly avoiding eye contact with the soldiers patrolling the airport's halls, shotguns and rifles held at ease. Taxis wait outside, lined up in orderly rows, to bring the tourists deeper into the capital of the Republic. The city seems quiet, its streets largely empty but for the troop carriers transporting the Republic's soldiers from one area to another on their patrols. 'The Great Lakes Republic opens territory to foreign tourism', the headlines of the State sponsored papers read. Though official news sources claim the Republic has been pacified, frequent outbound flights of military aircraft and whispered words in Nairobi's marketplaces hint at pockets of resistance throughout the Republic's territory. Soldiers keep a wary eye throughout the areas of the city open to tourism. The bullet holes that scar Nairobi's walls and streets have been repaired, for the most part. *** "Attacks by resistance forces have fallen over the last month, General. The aerial campaign is a success," the Colonel had highlighted several areas on the map, displayed across a large plasma television, "These are the remaining areas of resistance activity." General Catharine Akinyi spared the map a glance, though it contained nothing new for her. "When the resistance is put down in its entirety, then our campaign will be a success, but not before. Redeploy the fifty first from Kigali to Kampala; Colonel Okongo will take command of the pacification efforts there. Triple our security in Nairobi as well; I'll not have the Republic looking weak to our new visitors. Have Odek prepare President Osano to make an appearance for the guests." *** Thus did the Great Lakes Republic open itself to the world, with a smile on the faces of its citizens and the faint echoes of gunfire in the wilds.
17. Parliament Hill, Ottawa (Federation News Service) - After weeks of campaigning and electioneering, the inaugural elections of the newly christened Federation of the Atlantic are complete, with the Social Democratic Party winning a majority of seats in Parliament, followed closely by the Centre Right Union bloc of parties, which has named itself as the official opposition. Parliament, consisting of the unicameral Chamber of Deputies, comprises representatives elected by popular vote throughout the constituent provinces of the Federation: South Ontario, South Quebec, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. After electing Colin Edwards MP (SDP, Maine) as Speaker in a secret ballot this morning, Parliament's first act was to establish the executive. A round of voting beginning after lunch today has led to the establishment a semi-presidential system, in which a Prime Minister appointed by Parliament and approved by the President (the latter being waived for the inaugural holder) serves as head of government, sharing power with a popularly elected President of the Federation who acts as head of state and manages foreign policy. Adele Laroche MP (SDP, Quebec) was announced as Prime Minister-elect after the Chamber of Deputies emerged from voting earlier this afternoon. The inauguration has been scheduled to take place on the 31st of May, in the rotunda of Federation Hall, in the main building at Parliament Hill. The event will be open to members of the foreign and domestic press, but not to the public. PM-elect Laroche said in a brief acceptance speech this afternoon that she will pursue a policy of economic renewal of the Federation, along with a high degree of internal autonomy for the provinces, cutting of unnecessary defence programs along with a modernization of existing assets, a wide degree of human rights and personal liberty, and a peaceful, non-expansionist foreign policy. She also stated that any significant shifts in foreign policy will have to wait until a president is elected, but that she will do her best to handle both internal and external aspects of national policy until that time. ------ After the announcement of the new government by Federation News Service, the Federation of the Atlantic began to take shape. With PM-elect Laroche's inauguration still a day away, she could do little without any official powers granted to her by Parliament. Because of this, Parliament had to pull most of the weight themselves, although being an MP, she was still included in discussions and votes. Although it wouldn't have been democratic to make it official, she did notice that her fellow MP's were listening to her more closely when she spoke. Her own party was clearly supportive of their candidate, and the opposition, while not quite being on her side, were still careful to absorb everything their new head of government said and did, for Adele was a newcomer to national government. She'd been in Quebec's legislature for years, but something like running a country was still quite new to her. Among the first acts of Parliament was to establish defense and foreign policy. The fleet in Federation Forces Base Halifax, along with the ground and air forces already being organized, would provide for their immediate security and territorial integrity well enough, but diplomatic and trade relations would have to be established. To this end, a letter was sent to each nation basing their capitals in North America, inviting them to send representatives to Ottawa for an ad-hoc diplomatic exchange pending formal recognition and the establishment of a proper government. Among such important tasks were more mundane matters. The national capital was formally established at Ottawa in the Province of South Ontario, and the official languages of the Federation were set: English and French, with both having equal status in matters of federal government, but with French being used for signage, education, etc. in South Quebec while English was used for same in the rest of the Federation. A national flag1 has been selected and authorized for civil and state use on both land and sea; by sunset on the 30th, it is already flying from Peace Tower on Parliament Hill, and over the coming days will be flown at an increasing number of government buildings throughout the Federation. ------ OOC: Haven't started a nation in ages, so bear with me as I get reacquainted with a few things. A map claim will be up soon, but the Federation ranges from Windsor, ON to Cape Breton, NS. 1http://i.imgur.com/nQbi3t8.png

19. *Static* A white noise interferes with most radio transmissions within the relative airspace of the Auroran Air District (modern day Colombia). All radios set to the correct frequency channel will hear this message on loop "To the Sovereign Nations of our beloved Southern Continent, Brothers, For over three thousand years, our ancestors inhabited these lands. They worshipped their own gods, they lived their lives peacefully, and built upon their own lands homes of their own likings. Trees were not stripped unceremoniously, animals were not slaughtered mercilessly, and our people's did not die needlessly. Wars were not fought for the sake of wars, and blood was not shed for the sake of riches. Our people prospered, and though they were not the harbingers of a technological new age, they were happy. Until that foreign menace came and occupied our lands. They stole the riches of the earth, and hollowed out a place for their soulless thrones. They erected monuments of gluttony, and built statues devoted to their sins. They oppressed our ancestors until weak and broken they said not a word to the fall of our once beautiful empire. For a thousand years our people obeyed without rebuke. But now no more. The Houses of Moash, Heraan, Tekel, Dani, and Vella hereby declare that we will no longer endure this baseless tyranny. Our ancestor beheld the foreign menace and thought them gods. Now we know they are devils, and we are the divine children. Stand proud, for you stand with the unified voices of millions as we cry out: No more. On this day, the Auroran Empire assumes her birthright. On this day, the Auroran people stand up as the free men and women we were destined to be. On this day!, we shall rise from the lightless earth shaded by those trees far more ancient than we, and we look to those devil gods and bellow, 'this is our home. WE ARE FREE!' The rumbling of cannons firing off in the distance continue for seconds after the speech before succumbing to the static

23. Let it be recorded by the Secretariat of the State of Sudan that on this day, the year 20XX, that the region of the Athenian Protectorate known as the Sudan and Darfur, with the exception of the lands of South Sudan, hereby declares itself an independent, secular state, with the position of Chancellor being filled by Okot Samara. The Chancellor released this statement to the international community shortly after coming to power: "Africa has seen the rise and fall of many states, and seen many wars. Athens brought us stability, but stability from a foreign position. I do not discount the effects of this stability, the city I stand in now has remained economically prosperous and safe because of their rule. But without sovereign, domestic rule, Sudan is doomed to fall to the wayside of history. A strong, centralized leadership is what Sudan and Darfur need, and I am here to provide it. Sudan shall stand as a beacon of non-expansionist, militarist stability. Should any nation have any concern, I invite them to send representatives to the city of Khartoum and speak with me." There are two branches of government: The Secretariat, in charge of administrative duties, maintaining records, and overseeing or performing secretarial duties. The Chancellery, in charge of legislative duties, headed by the Chancellor, who also serves as the Command-in-chief of the armed forces. The court system reports to the Chancellery, with the Supreme Court members being appointed by the Chancellor. The region of Darfur shall be granted semi-autonomous status with its own sub-Secretariat and court system. The official languages of the nation shall be Standardized Arabic and English. Regional dialects will also be supported within the schools of the region, but all official business must be done in the aforementioned official languages.
