Facebook Likes Working?

Seems to be increasing significantly, I would be interested in seeing this "facebook liking" competition happen again when school starts letting out (College is letting out now, which may be a factor as well).

There is also a website called "Facepunch.com" which had about 150 people join over the past 2 days. That would account for the rise.

If it is the work of the facebook 'like' feature, then shouldn't it produce a consistent stream of new nations? It's not as if this 'like' thing is a temporary feature. Sure, eventually the newer nations will go inactive, but the like feature will still exist and ideally introduce a constant stream of newer nations to the game, provided people still click on the like button.

Doubtful, from the looks of things they have minimal previous experience here and no one who appears to be ready to organize things.

Best case scenario is that someone does and gets burnt out within a month or two of trying to micromanage 150+ nations on their own, I'd say it's more likely half are gone within a month if no one steps up but I hope to be proven wrong. Maybe many of them will branch off to established joints to learn the game and then return able to run that alliance.

Serious proposal: a Robot Unicorn Attack-off between MK and NpO. 8 players from each alliance drawn against each other. Each player has thirty minutes to score as high as they can. Cheating will be punishable by, um, fury if we find out about it?
