It's much different, and I don't know if we ever have done this, but I got the idea by this. (amsg?) [18:48] <Ghux> What should we call the last decade? [18:48] <Ghux> Send your suggestions to [18:57] <tarikmo> We shouldn't call it anything Well, so much for my train of thought on subjects, but I was wondering, and, this is not making anything official, but, I've noticed that many players conduct themselves where they call, "X year the greatest/most interesting/whatever." With many important players rising and falling each year, and major events along with it define each year, it's almost like each year in CN was a generation, if this was so, what would you call each year? This can be based on your experience alone, and not the year as a whole, so if you joined in late 2006 like me, you don't use past events to help name the year. Years can be defined by stats, wars, whatever, choose it yourself, and be more creative than me. Hopefully this isn't too confusing. For me, (example) 2006 - The Fading Generation (referring to the declining about of 3 year players) 2007 - The Booming Generation (referring to all the drama that went on) 2008 - The Hopeful Generation (referring to WoTC, FAN, OcUK, and Vox) 2009 - The Changed Generation (Just guess what this is referring to) 2010 - The Lined Generation ( Lines being Drawn?) edit - Email address taken out Edited January 15, 2010 by Tarikmo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

RobertFitzy Posted January 15, 2010 Report Share Posted January 15, 2010 Naming each year as a generation sounds like a great idea, I would break each year into two sub generations (as real life generations are done), late 2009 would be the era of hope, early 2009 was more cynical, over all I would name 2009 the The Divided Generation as CN truly split for a long time during that year because of the WoTC in 2008. We are the Greatest Generation. We made this game what it is! Back in my day we had to build our nations from the ground up with little to no aid. I remember when I got my first 5k aid package, I sure was thankful just to have some money to buy a little infra. You kids today get aided millions of dollars by your elders and still beg for more money. It seems like every 5 day old nation these days has multiple improvements. Back in my day we had to work to get just one improvement! That's why we learned about hard work and dedication while you youngins get everything spoon fed to you. Everything moves too fast these days with all this new fangled technology. I wish I could go back to when things were much simpler and planet Bob moved more slowly.
