Well, since that has been the case since TPF was formed, except for a brief attempt at a triumverate, I am not entirely sure what change you believe has happened. But, in order for the impeachment of the Evil Overlord there must be a unanimous vote from all the Phoenix Magistrates whom HE appointed to office. Is it just me, or does it appear as though there may be a slight issue presenting itself here?Just my two cents. No, not really. It has a few flaws though 4.3 Nations in an alliance bearing a member count less than 10 that are a protectorate of another alliance requires the approval of the Evil Overlord to raid, In other words, a 41 man alliance that decided to protect a 5 man alliance if approved by the Evil Overlord is fair game ? I see that working out real well. This is why it's only by permission of the Evil Overlord. If it goes badly, it's on the head of the leader of the alliance. The Evil Overlord is, and should always be, the most capable leader of the alliance who makes the best decisions for the alliance. That means weighing all pro's and con's of tech raiding. There are plenty of "what ifs" that could be brought up, but the reality is they're unlikely. However, the rules were written in to leave possibilities open.
