State of the Alliance

This week has seen membership of the Siberian Tiger Alliance pass the 200 member mark with 205 members carrying the Siberian Tiger Alliance alliance affiliation. Our total nation strength has raced past 3.6 million and rapidly approaches the 3.7 million mark while our average nation strength has dipped slightly to just under 18000.

In domestic news, the Tiger of the Month award for July was presented this week. Mercatore was presented with the award for his long-term assistance in the bank by sending out aid packages for various programs on his own initiative. We have a number of members who selflessly offer their money to assist others in the alliance and it is pleasing to see another of these member’s efforts acknowledged. Congratulations Mercatore and thank you for your efforts in assisting the Siberian Tiger Alliance to grow.

The Siberian Trophy is hotting up as we rapidly approach the end of Season 11. In the Trophy division FC Tigris Altaica moved into top spot after a 1-0 home win over Bamburgh FC who slipped into second place. Zavod Ural Solikamsk moved into third place on the back of a home draw with Togashire FC and Batch having a week off seeing them slip to fourth place. The three teams fighting out the relegation battle all suffered defeats this week leaving The Mushroom Commune and The Rabbs in the relegation places with Proxian FC a point clear of the drop zone.

In the cup division Rebel United continue their undefeated run through the league with a hard-fought 4-3 away win over a promotion-chasing The Tainers. The Rebels are now eight points clear of second placed Team Waycool who are a further four points clear of Lombardia FC.

In Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Affairs policy is up and running with Pezstar appointing her select group of Foreign Affairs Officers during the week and assigning them their tasks for the week. The response from the new Foreign Affairs Officers has been positive and the new system looks to be working well in its early stages.

Our protectorate, The Imperial Order, continues to grow and develop rapidly and we are pleased to see their government working hard on forging relationships with other alliances and also developing their domestic programs and policies. At this early stage, they certainly look to have a bright future and the Siberian Tiger Alliance is pleased and honoured to have been asked to protect The Imperial Order.

Militarily, we have had the usual rogue issues to deal with all issues involving other alliances being resolved diplomatically and to the satisfaction of both parties.

The revamp of the Siberian Guard is under way with the new Guard members undergoing their training courses before a new program is put into place which is designed to generate activity and interest within the alliance as well as provide a more focussed support and education system for all members of the Siberian Tiger Alliance. Jyrinx has been working hard since his return from annual leave and we hope to see this program get off the ground in the next few weeks, all going well.

Overall, it has been another solid week of growth for the alliance. Our members have been assisted when attacked by rogues and rewarded for their efforts and dedication to the alliance. We have also seen new processes put into place and begin to take shape which all points to an active future with continued growth.

Za Sibir’!
