Tom Litler
I voted for the third option. It's charming how the OP tries ineffectively to guilt people into reluctantly supporting them only to avoid his misplaced epithet. Maelstrom Vortex
I am undecided. I chose this not because I'm to weak to chose sides, but because I feel "Freedom" is vaguely defined here and also that my personal definition of what true freedom is does not exist as a practical matter. In fact, I view the ideal of freedom as but an illusion to man who will always be enslaved to resources, the need for order, and his own basic needs. I also feel that bondage can be liberating. There are some who need or wish to be directed in their life and so there are often very willing slaves and very apt masters. Thus control is not by default evil as the premise of this discussion would like to indicate or assert. That said, the poll is flawed, devoid of only but biased and skewed options. Sorry my brother, but I had to call this out. Edited April 25, 2009 by Maelstrom Vortex

Yet how can you fully judge this poll if you have not read the rest of the 'Articles' that connect to it? Read the others, and maybe then you can be combative! Trouble Terrible
Don't you realize your "NPO IS LIGHT AND JUSTICE AND GLORY LIKE A MORNING RAY OF SUNSHINE" bs only works on your own forums? When you post stuff like "Fascism and her ‘Institutes of Evil’ are in complete opposition to the Democratic Socialistic principles that Pacifica and her people hold dearly." we're just going to laugh at you. Maelstrom Vortex
I read the article. I know what fascism is. I know what I believe freedom should be. That is all I need to generate the response above. By the way, I strongly favor democratic socialism myself. I just don't think this poll is a clean poll. Athenius
Also, that isn't the definition of fascism. At all. It seems to have gone over your head. Fascism \ˈfa-ˌshi-zəm also ˈfa-ˌsi-\ Function: noun Etymology: Italian fascismo, from fascio bundle, fasces, group, from Latin fascis bundle & fasces fasces Date: 1921 1) often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition 2) a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control <early instances of army fascism and brutality http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
Athenius
All this talk of bondage is sure to get a few people excited. The talk of 'Fascism' has everything to do with this war. Those who are trying to topple Pacifica and her Allies are wanting to destroy her and create a 'State of Bondage'. SOme sa that I do know what 'Fascism' is; I do; and yes I may have taken the term to am extreme, but is this war not extreme? There are clearly 'two' sides to this war, one who wants to keep a progression of the people, and one who wants to 'destroy' and 'minimize' the other. This war is a failure of Diplomacy, a failure to succeed in the art of unilateral submission. Because there was NOT a yielding of fault, war will be the ONLY resolve at this point. Many may get mad at this post and say, 'You are using things out of context and how can I be fascist?' The enemies are trying to derail those who want to progress in a submission to a greater cause. Yet, this WILL NOT HAPPEN! The enemy will once again understand where their place is, and it is not in the place of prosperity!
