Lynneth
People's Republic of XizangYes - 5 votes(s) No - 0 votes(s) To vote: Bosporan, Yuktobania Dragonisia Yes - 2 vote(s) No - 3 vote(s) To vote: Bosporan, Yuktobania The P.R. of Xizang is accepted into the ComIntern, as they have reached 66% yes-votes and the inspectors have found their nation to be a worthy addition. Please submit your signature(s). For Dragonisia, it unfortunately is unlikely that they will get in, as three of seven (OOC: Even though Bosporan's locked atm) have voted against them. They would need five yes-votes, which would require a maximum of 2 No-votes. Unless one of those who already voted change their mind, Dragonisia will unfortunately be rejected. Maelstrom Vortex
"Those who think that my nation is not socialist in nature really need to come visit. I've discussed this at length with other socialist states. Francoism is not a domestic policy. It's a foreign policy." Tom Clark sighs, agitatedly, "We plea with Cainette to change its vote. If my policies didn't even remotely match communism/socialism I'd be written off simply via Article 8." We must note that Article 8 is only applied after approval of the nation in question into the ComIntern.

Sir Keshav IV
Yes, signing a treaty with Colstream was more then enough to guaranty a yes from us. Also we propose an amendment to the treaty- Article 10-(Current Article 10 Complete Withdrawal will become Article 11) All member nations of the Comintern agree not to sign Mutual Defense Pacts or higher treaties without all the member nations of Comintern agree or 66% of Comintern agree. Reasoning for this- While nations will feel this is hurting their sovereignty, And not respect their wishes we say no. Our reasoning is because we feel we do not want to be tied up in a war for a nation we do not like because a Comintern member is tired to that nation without our blessings. We do not want to protect allies we do not even know. The current MDP's for the nations can stay the same but future treaties must be voted on by the Comintern if this amendment is accepted. Lynneth
We could instead simply rule that the ComIntern nations do not need to come to help if another ComIntern nation is brought into a war through a MDP/MDAP, though that would be a similar solution to yours. Additionally, we could make an amendment that the ComIntern is above other treaties and always overrides other treaties.
