Loviise Kadri wasn't dressed in anything extraordinarily fancy, her dress could best be described as a modernized and more formal version of a traditional Baltic dress. She left her shawl, and her guards their overcoats, with the coat check, before entering. The guards also carried with them the large decorative trunk which carried the dinner set, which they would leave with the appropriate staff members.

She would come across the Empress of France at the door, and spoke in heavily accented English as she gave a very slight bow, "Your Majesty, thank you for the invitation. I am Vice President Kadri, of the Baltic Union. I apologize that the President himself could not attend, his schedule simply couldn't permit any time away."

"Wow, so you were a rugby player in Samoa?"

"Yeah, but only in High School. The Usos would make fun because I acted Samoan but my last name wasn't. My dad was Filipino but he told me to prove to them that I was Samoan out on the field. I guess I was sort of bullied, but I followed what my dad said and became Team Captain. I passed the immigration tests to get to Hawaii, and made it from my childhood shack all the way up to a HIPACOM intelligence officer today."

"Wow, I wish I would have went to a real High School, since I'm part of the royal family I was privately tutored. They say on the news that Hawaii has collective farms and that someone called the "Stalin of the Pacific" is in power. Is it really that bad?"

"My apologize, My Lady, I did not know you were royalty!" Captain Ebanez swiftly bowed, but the sister of the Empress laughed and slapped the Captain on the shoulder.

"Get up idiot, you're drawing attention over here! It's so nice to talk to someone other than all of these ass-kissers at court!"

Captain Ebanez straightened out his uniform and looked at the Lady quizzically.

"Don't look at me like that! Come on, tell me what Socialism in Hawaii is like!"

Captain Ebanez breathed in deeply as he remembered Hawaii. He looked far away from the Wedding as he described his new home...

"The water is clean, the air is pure. We hunt, we grow, and we fish for our food. When there is plenty, we celebrate, and when there is little, we fight. There is balance between Man and Nature again. The imperialists have forgotten what it is to love your land and people with all your heart, to feel the spirits war above the mighty waves as you surf. Their hearts have been taken by things dug up from the earth, but not in Hawaii. I volunteered for this event knowing I may never return to my lands.

Captain Ebanez exhaled and looked at the Empress sister in the eyes.

"But I did so willingly, in service to Pasifika. I do not know how much longer we can stand. But should we fall, remember that once, we were here. I think I know who this should be given to. Someday, this may be the only Hawaiian sand left in the world that isn't turned to glass. Please accept this gift from the people of Hawaii."

The princess held out her hand shakily, and the Hawaiian placed a small, simple glass vial filled with sand in her hand and closed it. The princess looked up into the eyes of the Hawaiian Officer, and he bowed once more before leaving the princess.

"My Lady."

As he walked away and headed back to the wine stand to pour another glass. However, he was swiftly intercepted by the Japanese ambassador.

"est cet imbécile vous dérange?" she asked, giving the Hawaiian a cold look. "Je peux lui enlever si vous souhaitez."

"Good afternoon ma'am, I don't speak French, but few of my people do. How can I help you today?"

General Akinyi smiled and nodded to the Empress, and made her way inside. She turned her head slightly and spoke, in Swahili, to her consort-guards, "Keep your eyes on those ones," she nodded toward the Hawaiin and others. "Watch how they speak to each other. If there's to be a fight here, it'll start with one of them. In fact, Adriana, go mingle near them. Keep your ears open for anything we can use." One of the guards smiled, nodded, and moved off to mingle with the guests, conveniently close to the incident involving Hawaii's representative. General Akinyi and her remaining guard made their way to a set of seats and settled down, politely speaking with any guests near them who spoke English or French.

The Prince and the Princess both stepped out from behind the statue of St. George battling a dragon into the main room, looking around a little. There was a small commotion in one place, but the pair ignored it, instead moving to deposit their present with the others. Whoever opened it at the reception later would find a ceremonial obsidian dagger within, together with congratulations to the pair.

Once the present was put into the pile, the two walked to the side, for the most part minding their own business, and in part wondering how long it might take for a guard to approach them, considering they hadn't come through the front entrance where incoming guests were being greeted.

As the American Vice President walked around, she took note of all the delegates from almost every country in the world. She would make it a point to represent the United States, especially to those the US has yet to formally establish diplomatic ties with. She noticed General Akinyi of Africa. She approached her and said, "Hello General! How does Africa fair these days?"

General Akinyi smiled pleasantly at the American vice president and replied in her accented English, "The anarchy of the White Zones shrinks every day. In fact, the Republic's military is continuing to bring order and prosperity to the former Congo. The revival of the African Union is also imminent. And how fares North America? Our maps show that the majority of your White Zones have been reclaimed by various nations. It is quite encouraging to witness."

After listening intently to the general, Vice President Portman would respond, "Most of North America fares well. However the recent escalation in the Pacific is worrying. In the near future the United States will be expanding its foreign affairs focus to Africa. It is my personal hope, along with President Heller that the United States and Africa may work cooperatively in the interests of both our regions."

Prime Minister Nikola Erdos would regretably be unable to attend the Royal Wedding, due to events in Hungary-Slovakia.

President Marton Lorand, however, is most pleased to attend the Royal Wedding, and arrives in France at the International Airport about 3 hours before the Royal Wedding is set to begin.

The British Federation had accepted the invitation, opting to send Vice-Chancellor Daniel Bedford to the French wedding. He would be accompanied by an agent from MI7, although she would be introduced as a mere aide; the opportunity to gain knowledge directly from others at the party was too good to pass up. The pair boarded a Cessna at an airstrip in Great Yarmouth which then took them direct to Stockholm. They then took a private car to the cathedral. When they arrived, Daniel noted how much better the building looked than usual. Decorations adorned the cathedral and men and women in beautiful ceremonial attire lined the square. Jovial music wove through the air, mixed with the smell of food and sounds of many rather happy individuals.

Bedford led the way, with the "aide" following close behind him. Daniel marvelled at the cathedral's interior. At the door, he greeted a woman dressed in a beautiful purple dress. He introduced himself in French, quite poor with the accent but it was good enough (courtesy of Winters of course). "Bonjour madame, je m'appelle Daniel, je suis Vice-Chancelier de Grande-Bretagne!" He then switched to English. "It's a very great pleasure to be here. The Chancellor sends his regards and well-wishes, he cannot come unfortunately due to some domestic affairs that require his fullest attention. This is my aide, Heather Maul."

Ambassador Lorenzo Rizzuto made it a point to personally greet the French Emperess. He had an important item to give to her. After spotting her from a distance, he would politely approach her and say, "Votre Altesse Royale, c'est un honneur d'être en votre présence." He would then switch to English, "On behalf of the Italian government, I would like to convey our congratulations and look forward to the ceremony. My Foreign Ministry forwarded me a document from His Holiness Pope Paul VII. He instructed me to personally hand you this (*hands packet) I have not opened it, but I hope it contains joyous news." The ambassador would then bow and walk away to mingle with others in the crowd.

"The escalation in the Pacific worries us, as well. Though our ports are, currently, within the Indian Ocean, it is only a short trip to reach the Pacific, and much of our trade to the Americas must be routed through those waters. When our new Pacification is complete, however, we'll have access to the Atlantic, and then perhaps some deal can be reached to give the United States first access to our goods."

"Thank you, your excellency." The Empress says simply before he walks away to talk with everyone else. She then opens the small packet and reads the letter within, nodding when she was finished. She pulled one of the guards aside, "I must go to speak with my sister now, make sure that any guests who show themselves after now get told everything, it's not much." she then exits the building to go visit with her sister.

"Now that sounds like a very beneficial trade agreement. Perhaps after the Pacific drama the US and Great Lakes Republic could establish formal diplomatic relations and work out bilateral agreements?"

King Karl Gustaf would be seen standing in the corner with some of his military command staff dressed in a dress uniform, with no ranks or insignia's placed on it. He kept the uniform humble on the principle of that he wasn't someone who cared much for aesthetics and he had a feeling that Princess Cloe de LaQuee was going to go for a dress that would accent her the best, and wanted her to stand out from himself. He also heard news that his bride to be had wanted the Pope to conduct the wedding, and while he wasn't a Christian and Christianity was mostly gone from Sverige, he had sent a note to her to allow for the Pope to come come and conduct the wedding.

He was conducting only small talk with his military staff, and they could be seen laughing among themselves at inside jokes.

THE HOLY SEE

VATICAN CITY

Upon the receipt of an invitation to witness the wedding ceremony of King Karl Gustaf of Sverige and Princess Cloe de LaQueu of France in Stockholm, His Holiness Pope Paul VII would send a positive reply indicating his attendance. This would be the Pope's first overseas trip since his election. He would fly to the closest airport and meet with Archbishop Jerome Duranton, Primate of France, and head straight for the Cathedral.

Once he arrived the Pope and the Primate would be escorted to the sacristy to prepare for the sacred sacrament of matrimony.

Pope Paul VII would send a personal note to the bride and groom reminding them that they are the ministers, and that he was just God's witness to their new covenant to each other. After the clergy were vested, they made their way to their appropriate places and waited for the wedding to begin.

His Holiness Pope Paul VII along with Arch. Jerome Duranton, would appear in front of the altar. A priest would walk over to the ambo and speak clearly into the microphone in various languages, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the King and Princess have arrived. Please take your seats so that the ceremony may begin."

The King would move to stand in front of the Pope, standing on the Pope's left hand side. He would stand with his hands folded together, resting on his belt buckle. He stood with his back straight looking down between the pews of the Cathedral. He would make a note to himself that this place of worship would have to be re-closed after the ceremony. He stood with a smirk on his face, one of a man that was getting what he wanted.

The organ starts to play a light song, and the doors open to reveal the bride, Princess Cloe, in all of her splendor. Her dress was comparatively modest, all things considered, but the train was equal to the station she possessed, and, of course, had to be assisted along. She was escorted by an uncle, the parents of the Royal sisters having died a few years prior to the present date, having lived long enough to see only one of their daughters get married.

She walks up the aisle slowly, her Maid of Honor, the Empress, beaming brightly at her as she walked, with her other three sisters standing to the side of her, all of them Bridesmaids, with a couple of the Princess' friends for good measure. She eventually reached the alter and turned to face the King, smiling at him and looking to the Pope so that he could lead the ceremony, the song stopping soon afterwards.

As the bride processed up the aisle, the Pope would glance over at the King to see his reaction. The Pope wanted to see if the King truly loved his soon to be wife or if this was just another political arrangement. After she arrived at the altar, Pope Paul VII would begin, "Your Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, you have come together in this church so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of the Church’s minister and this community. Christ abundantly blesses this love. He has already consecrated you in baptism and now he enriches and strengthens you by a special sacrament so that you may assume the duties of marriage in mutual and lasting fidelity. And so, in the presence of the Church, I ask you to state your intentions."

"Karl and Cloe, have you come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage?"

"Will you love and honor each other as man and wife for the rest of your lives?"

"Will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his Church?"

He smiled at Princess Cloe as she stood there with him in front of the Pope, him not caring all that much for the Church doctrine, lifted her hand and kissed it softly while the Pope was speaking to him and the people that had gathered at the ceremony. He had a few of his friends that stood as one his side, to match the Brides Maids, but they didn't hold any official power and were people he had known long before rising to power. He would only give one stare towards the Pope, in which he had replaced his smile with a frown before turning his attention back to his beautiful bride, before replying to the questions raised to him. "I have come here freely to love and honor her for as long as she may live, Odin grants us his divine blessing, and Freyja will bless us with many children."
