Only reason to avoid it, is the two parties that are fighting over it currently may not take well to it and just go in with the military that is already in the region to crush whatever they do not like, I'd argue that maybe waiting for the end of the war is the best idea, meanwhile trying to get reasonable relations with both parties, so that at the final negotiations, you may get a piece of land, when this ends in some kind of Vienna Congress or Berlin Conference. Executive Minister Posted February 13, 2013 Report Share Posted February 13, 2013 I'd have no problems with anyone DoEing in a protectorate that was a formal AU protectorate prior to the war. Obviously the war would continue as if the protectorates were still protectorates. Even if I do lose, the other side has made it clear they won't be holding land on Africa.
