Sumatra News Network: "Today, celebration rang through the streets and halls of the islands of Sumatra and Borneo (with their surrounding micro islands). The long awaited election had come to pass and the government of the two islands has been decided. William Hadiman of the Federal Constitutional Republic party was selected as the president, with the party's constitution and government. The election results were in the favor of Willian Hadiman by a wide margin due to the collapse of the last government at such an early age and due to public approval of his government history."

ELECTION RESULTS:

Federal Constitutional Republic party: 92%

Peoples Revolutionary party: 2%

True Democracy Party: .1%

Anarchist party: 3%

Other: 2.9%

Speech from the president:

"Today is a beautiful day in the history of these great islands, we have truly come a long way in history. This marks a time of freedom and prosperity in Sumatra, a day where no man is oppressed based on his race, religion, or political ideals. Sumatra and Borneo are equal, as are all citizens that reside in our great nation, you will as promised have the right to the essentials that for so long have been kept from you in the past by the many dictators that have chosen to try to rule these lands. To quote a historical document in world history you will have the right to 'Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' and you will have the right to defend your selves by bearing your own arms against those that wish to hurt you, be they foreign, or domestic. Today we declare our independence day! We thank our protectors for allowing free election and a peaceful result."

Dispatch sent to all foreign governments that would receive:

Respected dignitaries,

"We, the people of Sumatra and Borneo have formed a Republic a under fair monitored election. We seek only peace and prosperity and welcome whoever may choose to form a bond of diplomacy with us by way of an open embassy exchange between our states. We have plenty of room in our capital of Lubuklinggau, Sumatra for how ever many foreign diplomats you may choose to send."                     "
