  1. I would love that. Let us pick 1 leader, 1 2nd-in-command, 1 FA person, 1 IA person, 1 econ, 1 military, and 3-4 others? So like... 9 or 10?
  2. NPO-style is probably easiest, so I'll go with that: Emperor: Archon Regent: Dilber Econ/$$$$: Jenko, Millionario FA: SeasonsOfLove, Coursca, Triyun IA: Lord of Destruction, DrDan Media/Propaganda: Sir Paul (The man, the legend) Military: VladimirStukov, LiquidMercury And... I'm probably undeserving, but god knows someone would need to keep people from killing each other, which I'm great at.
  3. Rafa, you should perhaps recall which alliance it was that prevented that last trade idea, FWIW. I'm saddened by this because I had put a lot of time into OUT recently and into getting the economic side working, but it seems that isn't going to happen with every Orange alliance now.
  4. 1008 days here since I started playing (November 11, 2006). Wow.
  5. I'm glad to see this being released. OMFG is a great group. o/ The Platypus Chief
  6. I think you need to take the tinted glasses off, my friend. Look at the alliances who are allies of Citadel alliances - MK, FOK, MHA, IRON. They aren't exactly elite alliances when you compare them to Citadel alliances, and yet they are still incredibly valued allies to us and our security. In TOP, we certainly don't treaty our allies as a luxury or a trifle.
  7. I would have rerolled my first nation and built it up with good resources and gotten better guides than the Legion ones I first had, then never have deleted my nation. I would have built up better. I wouldn't have tried to make Browncoats or go back to The Legion after Purplegate. Joined TOP and the game earlier. No regrets from my NPO days, except for some of the people to whom I was cruel or who I may have hurt. And, not have forced VL out of the game in the way that I did.
  8. Farewell, Ender. Even if I didn't like your AMSGs, you were a good member of CN and seemed to generally know what you were doing and were a good contributor to the game in general. Losing a member like you is always a bad thing for CN's well-being.
  9. Thanks for all the hailing and congratulations Oh, wait... you don't mean me Congrats on the formation, anyway, and good luck with everything. Don't make me think you're hailing me when you're not *shakes his fist*
  10. LoD, my good friend, I have a question for you: Any favorite memories from your time in NPO? Favorite people? Favorite events? Also, I can confirm that he was going to leave to found an alliance pre-Jarheads. EDIT: We don't need a proof to know that hawk doesn't give a damn. We all just know it's true.
  11. Arcadian, as one of the authors of the old charter (and, incidentally, a proponent of the type of charter you have now), I have to ask what specifically prompted the change to the Imperator structure from the old, convoluted structure that nobody outside of The Legion understood? Also, how have your Foreign Affairs shifted in the wake of this war, with clearly your most powerful ally being knocked down several notches, and still being hit hard?
  12. This was an incredibly tough decision, and I wish our allies in Old Guard the best of luck.
  13. I'm stepping out of this. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding another buyer.
  14. I'm gonna have to go with one in which I was personally involved: The so-called Dilber Clique, which was the means in which the NPO leadership inserted a wedge in-between its members and NpO. The Ivan coup was a precursor, and the OoO cancellation wouldn't have happened without this. Ultimately, the Dilber Clique managed to trash NpO so thoroughly among the NPO's middle class that NPO leadership was able to forsake NpO without its most vocal members arguing - the most vocally pro-Polar elements left as a result of the Dilber Clique, and left the NPO with an even more drone-like membership and really allowed all of the later acts in which NPO hung NpO out to dry. Without the Dilber Clique, NPO wouldn't have been able to cancel OoO, trash Sponge publically, or let its allies kill Polar. Extra bonus points for the Dilber Clique being the beginning of the Vox Populi movement, something which contributed to the anti-NPO sentiment which lead to this current war. It was truly the beginning of the end, as people realized that NPO's leadership wasn't going to stand for other alliances challenging it. Even Polar, their best friend and ally for most of CN.
  15. Praisebe to Big Brother! Praisebe to IngSoc!
  16. I'm not gonna get involved in the politics, but given that I was the one initiating the final dissolution, I can tell you without a doubt this: In about January or February of 2008, The Legion and LoSS, the final two signatories of FtLoGTotC, withdrew (well, I, as then-Legion MoFA, withdrew us, and LoSS withdrew at the same time). Pacifica withdrew well before that time. So, Sir Paul, I think the time you missed may have missed that final dissolution. (Linky: Here)
  17. Post-war, Bob will be a very different place. Clearly, the post-war and the peace terms may lead to some conflict, which I'm not going to address, as I don't know where every alliance stands. If, and only if, Vox and FAN get peace, I expect a FAN resurgence and a large number of alliances to be founded by the Vox leaders. I think a lot of disaffected members of both Hegemony and Karma alliances are going to form various splinter alliances, and that several alliances on Hegemony will dissolve as a result of the war - GGA and MCXA to me seem to be good candidates due to the internal conflicts they have appeared to have (at least to me) prior to this war. NPO is going to lose its ability to prevent alliances from forming on Red, and I think they will have to learn to share with the new alliances which are bound to sprout up - and no, I don't mean a bunch of communist ones. I believe that alliances are going to move towards a minimalistic foreign policy in which they reduce their number of mutual defense treaties, and in which blocs are kept on the small side. One thing which seems very evident to me is that large blocs brought together to fight an external threat break down easily - WUT against the CoaLUEtion, Q against NpO/BLEU - after their threat disappears. I believe that there won't be another large bloc brought about for this very reason, that people seem to be realizing the problems with them. CN after this war is going to be changed. Maybe not for the better, but I think that change is needed.
  18. I'll make the same call as everyone else: I'm waiting for the treaty to be upgraded to an MADP. In my long past, I've seen nothing that would make me believe that mhawk would want to move away from Valhalla or chefjoe... so if this treaty is legitimately gone for good, I would be extremely shocked.
  19. Longtime Legionnaire, with 2 runs. Went to STA and NPO in-between and NPO after... now I'm a proud Paradoxian.
