The problem is, I've seen far more from your side alleging that we're spreading misinformation than any statements from our side about who is responsible. So it's feeling like self-propagating propaganda.

This is cute, because our government has never said that it was entirely TOP's fault. We don't have the information to know which of the Gang of Eight, or, potentially, any other members of the Optional Aggression Coalition, have pushed this strategy. Whoever said our party line was that it was TOP's fault is clearly not speaking for the Emperor or his Officers. We're not discriminating with who we're blaming for this - all of the Gang of Eight has spoken as one in refusing to deal with us, namely through its appointed spokesperson in Dajobo. But please, keep putting words into our leadership's mouths. Just because some of our members blame TOP alone does not mean that's the "party line." Despite what you may think, Pacificans often do have differences of opinions on world events. Just because some of our members might blame TOP alone, we certainly do not. Where did you get the impression that we were trying to turn that term into a bad thing? Perhaps you are just projecting your own views of it. We simply use that term because "Optional Aggression coalition" is a better-fitting name for the so-called "Polaris coalition," just as "Mutual Defense coalition" is a better-fitting name for the so-called "Sith coalition."

From what I understand, if Pacifica were to approach our enemies for peace, they are unwilling to speak to us because they cannot agree on the terms they want to give to us. We've spoken to Sparta, obviously, and heard a different tune, but whenever we've spoken to someone else against us they have refused to discuss any kind of peace with us. EDIT: If you want to get formalistic, that's cool, but it's unfortunately an inaccurate representation of what has happened.

Thanks to TPF for coming in to defend Pacifica despite their misgivings about the war, and serious props to STA for doing so for TPF with their same misgivings. Nothing but respect for both of you, and love for TPF. You guys did what you had to here, what was best for you guys.

Unless they view those offers as entirely unreasonable, and you refuse to listen to their more reasonable offers. Which is exactly what happened. When you put a gun to someone's head and say "take this offer or we kill you" that's not negotiation, that's a threat. Clearly, you don't understand what negotiation is. TIO and NATO tried to negotiate and you threatened them.

As someone who has long had a lot of respect and really liked IRON, this is disheartening. I understand why you did this, but whoever told you to do this led you down a bad path. STA: give 'em hell. You certainly didn't deserve this.

We requested reparations? I've read the entirety of the talks and I barely remember seeing Farrin speaking throughout (given that it was between LoSS and NG), let alone demanding reparations.
