Around a year ago we had a routine rogue situation that ended up in a glorious friendship with the Colonial Independence Association. We shortly thereafter signed an Optional Defense Pact which in a few months was upgraded to a Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact. We have remained the best friends throughout the year, having constant contact every day between our shared government and member channels. The CIA however has gone through rougher times as of late, with the burning out and retirement of a handful of government members and has forced their hand to lay to rest their fruitful project at last. Though we will dearly miss our most beloved allies, they will not be far, in fact they will be closer and more intimate with us than ever. Yeah this has been tried before, and failed. There is already one established, reasonably successful alliances, BAPS. We don't need another alliance for a limited pool of eligible members in my opinion really.

You seem to have solid reasons for quitting. Though a loss to the greater community, I believe you should make a clean break for the good of yourself. If the game is restricting you from furthering yourself in real goals, then you should leave no way for yourself to be sucked back into the game like many have already suggested will happen. It seems that the recent posters in this thread think that his initial intentions were to help NSO. It was a repayment for help NSO gave his alliance mate to aid him out of bill lock so he could finish his tech deals, not an attempt as white knight or holy lord and saviour of the NSO.

Almost voted the second option, but the third one relates to me much more I guess. If I didn't have CN what would I do? DO something productive in my real life? The horror. Edit: Yeah I like my alliance too. That's pretty much all CN is to me at this point.

Yeah to be honest communication between us has been at an all time low. Ever since USMC has been busy with other commitments it has been pretty awkward between us when we did try to converse. As our first treaty partner I wish you luck on your journeys Ragnarok, and I'm sure there will never be hard feelings from both alliances.

Here is a little back story on this whole thing. A member of Tetris tech raided and subsequently bill locked the member of Methrage's alliance who accepted the aid from NSO. It seems as if Methrage was paying NSO back for their help, which has active enemies, and then this thread appears. Tetris claims all credit and responsibility for this lulz and drama. Yay us.
