TOP have the third highest damage output in our coalition, and have ensured that they could remain as effective for many more rounds to come. As for this lackluster of damage point that keeps getting raised, surely the burden of that lies with those whom TOP are engaged with. After all their military prowess should be gauged on the amount of damage they dish out, as oppose to take -- which ultimately depends on the people they are finding. As with any winning coalition, the damages tend to be spread out between many alliances, as opposed to the losers who have their damage concentrated on the select few. There have been a couple of notable exceptions on our side who have really went in with full force and gave it their all ( i.e Invicta, MI6, Sparta ) and whilst such commitment is noted, it's silly to question TOP's commitment on the basis that they did not take as much damage comparatively as the others. TOP is one of the handful of others such as NpO, Sparta, MI6 and VE that have been great in this war. Usually when you have the enemies shitting on an alliance, and coalition partners praising the alliance in question, it implies that they are doing a great job! So keep it up TOP! :v

Nobody usually takes this seriously, and I don't have much faith in this working out but I'll give it a go. With so much butthurt everywhere recently, I thought putting up this topic would be a good idea. Pretty sure it was done before. Just to give a shout out to the opponents you faced, either because you were impressed by their fighting ability or generally witty war time banter. Over at UPN our guys have payed out alot of compliments to Steve Buscemi. And from my personal experience, it was fun getting wrecked by Sunny Side King :P

I don't disagree with you. IRON will themselves recognise that they made mistakes. Not cancelling the NG treaty being the prime one. However some people are really making it a bigger deal than it is, for obvious reasons.

I think the crux of this whole debate is that the relationship between IRON - NG had already broken down. Only those who chose to remain ignorant did not see it. It's clear that IRON should of cancelled the treaty, which they essentially saw as redundant anyway, and I am sure they agree with me -- albeit with the benefit of hindsight now. Let's not act like they are the only alliance around to let a treaty gather some dust... it's just extremely unfortunate for them that in this war, it had to become an issue with the whole LoSS debacle. However at the end of the day, this was a situation where whatever choice they made, they would seemingly be backing out of already made commitments. From this point onwards it was just a decision of who they would rather roll with. And clearly they made their choice...

It was more so you demanding them to peace out and agree to no re-entry... which is hilarious, given that you are in no position to make such demands.

Two alliances I greatly admire. I hope my friends in TOP and TPF will have fun. But I will be of course rooting for my allies! o/ TOP

I am not excusing anything, and as I said, IRON's biggest mistake was not letting go of that treaty -- even though they knew what was coming. It's a tricky situation. Just pointing out that the statement of "IRON will shit on all it's allies to avoid a beatdown" is too much of a generalisation, and we all know that this specific situation isn't that simple.

Let's not pretend that NG were surprised by IRON's actions. That treaty should of been cancelled pre-war, and I am sure that IRON recognise this themselves, but they aren't the only alliance guilty of letting a treaty gather dust and not cancel it. Let's not ignore that the current government is also very different to the line up that inked that treaty. It was clear that the new administration were pulling in a completely opposite direction. I think IRONs biggest mistake was not getting rid of that essentially redundant treaty, before it all kicked off.

Love both of these alliances. Probably the two of the most noble in CN. Have fun ya'll!

He was talking about the person who referred to TOP. Which absolutely idiotic. If you look at the numbers, TOP are one of the leaders of the coalition in terms of damage done. Everyone knows TOP is militarily competent, and that there is a strategical reason behind holding some people back. They simply ensured that they will remain effective for the later rounds. Which is beneficial given that we signed up to this for the long haul. It's one thing to use it for a valid tactical reason, with people coming out as necessary, and another to completely peace out for the entirety of the war, whilst making false promises to everyone, including your allies, and continuing to act tough. Hint: TOP isn't the latter.
