i would like to offer peace talks for woto
Robster83 replied to Mister black's topic in World Affairs (IC)
I am not arguing that concentrating the blame on someone cannot be accomplished -- for sure it can, and has been successfully done so in the past. Doesn't mean it's the truth. I am just telling you the facts. Which are that neither NpO or TOP are demanding anything. Just because you were so far up MK's ass that you couldn't do anything other than fall in line with their decisions is your problem, and has no bearing on this particular situation. I know you don't pay attention, but our track record shows that we are a stalwart ally... As for your petty comments, it's a good thing that the people who's opinions matter think differently. :awesome: Keep believing your fallacies if it makes you feel better. We're certainly enjoying your theories in the backchannels. You speak in objective terms, yet you couldn't be further from the truth. I am not sure whether you are being selectively ignorant to several known facts, to advance your agenda, or if you genuinely have no idea what you are talking about. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume you are trying to spin this, heh. -

Then by that definition all of the alliances engaged in the coalition are just as "proactive." And proves my point that NpO and TOP should not be singled out. -

Not sure how you inferred that from what I said. I am merely pointing out that no alliance should be singled out for the hypothetical terms presented, and especially not TOP/NpO, who aren't making any demands -- contrary to what was said in this thread. Don't mistake their apathy towards what happens to the NPO, with the notion that they are proactive in forcing these punitive reps upon you. You would love to place the concentrated blame on alliance A. Yet as I mentioned, this scenario isn't as linear and as simplistic as you make out. If anything the blame should be diluted among the alliances in the coalition. We should all share the responsibility, as we enabled this war to take place. If you want to hold that against us all, then that's your prerogative. -

Right. But not going out of their way to make sure that NPO isn't given punitive terms, is not the same as proactively forming or demanding said terms. There's a clear distinction, and that should be acknowledged. He's not lying. Just like TOP, NpO are not making any demands either. NpO's objective was to deal with NSO, and that's what they have done. However as I mentioned, the alliances involved in the war entered for a wide variety of reasons, be it self interest or a common cause. There's no pretense that certain alliances got involved to serve their own agenda, as opposed to Polaris'. There isn't one single party to pinpoint to reflect who are keen on it. Let's just say that it's a significant portion of the coalition, which should be self evident, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about it any longer. And as coalition partners, we respect that, and will support them. They helped us to further our agenda, and that will be reciprocated. It's coalition warfare. imo: If you want to play the blame game, then you can't concentrate it, as all the alliances are equally as responsible. We all enabled this to happen. -

That extends to the whole of the coalition, UPN included. All alliances involved in the war have pledged a certain level of support, for a wide variety/combination of reasons, be it self interest or a common cause. At the end of the day, there are several alliances who wouldn't mind seeing a blanket white peace agreement if it was solely their decision, but that doesn't change the fact that they still support ( albeit to varying degrees ) the collective interests of the coalition as a whole. After all that is how a coalition works. tl;dr: TOP are not demanding anything from them, and their support is no greater than the support of the vast majority of the alliances involved. -

He knows objectively that TOP are not demanding any sort of punishment of NPO. It's funny to see some people here propagate lies, although that's nothing new... and Rush as always displaying to everyone how out of the loop he really is. Which again, is nothing new. -
Nice to see.

Not looking good for Plan B :P

Of course Gold has some inherent value, in the sense that it is a good conductor. However it's value is largely inflated, and the perceived value is way above the intrinsic value of Gold. As far as I know copper is actually a better conductor.

Blame your allies for bringing it back up. :P

They are undeserving of such a fine member.

Why do you all insist on just spewing rhetoric. Let the numbers do the talking. If you have a group with a 650,000 negative damage output differential, it obviously means your performance was not as good as the one with a positive output of 1,000,000. You can slate us all you want R&R, and make comments about our military prowess, or lack of it as according to you. But trying to paint us in a negative light will not suddenly make your numbers seem more impressive. R&R always seem to be very bitter when others attack them. You've already had friends of yours on this side of the coalition, doing a massive favours for you and your allies... and you're still bitter. Nothing has changed. R&R haven't even been heavily engaged, due to some obvious reasons. If you compare their defensive slots to some others, I think you will find that there are a great deal of them still left unfilled. In fact a great portion of their alliance haven't even participated in the war, which is fairly unusual given on the side they are on. When you consider the tier breakdowns, and the peacemoded nations of R&R. Purely from a statistical standpoint, the war is hardly overwhelming. Although some of the comments from them would suggest otherwise, heh. Glass houses, etc... Also, if we wanted to avoid damage, we wouldn't have engaged you. There are bigger priorities as far as we're concerned. Such as providing some assistance to our allies, and an alliance which we feel have gone beyond what was expected of them and have given their all for the coalition. By all means, carry on with the cheap shots... :) Maybe we will reciprocate at some point too.

An Announcement from The Order of the Paradox

Wreck them. I hope my allies and friends in TOP and Umb have fun! -
Congrats to all. In particular to UPN's allies, on both sides of the conflict. o/

Over 1/3 of TOP has not yet fought this war
Robster83 replied to Hereno's topic in World Affairs (IC)
I think it's silly to ignore the context of this, and compare the situation that the likes of UPN/STA have been in the last few wars and STA is currently in, and the situation that TOP find themselves in now. It's an entirely different ball game.
