Amal – The government of Novak has developed a new technology, allowing government officials, employees and military personnel to access restricted areas without the need for retina or fingerprint scans. NMRA, the military’s research agency, created a bracelet that detects a person’s unique heart wave, which will be used as that person’s specific identifier for access to restricted networks, buildings, rooms and other classified areas. The bracelets can be assigned to a specific person and can only be used by that person, so if it is stolen it cannot be used by the thief. The government hopes this will aid in protecting classified assets from human infiltration, while boosting efficiency. NMRA expects this technology to be fully integrated by the end of the month. Aden – In response to the death of Essa Reid, the government of Novak has put the country on high alert. This means all waters are hereby closed to all allied and non-allied military vessels, as well as shipping vessels, without explicit prior permission. All entrances to Novak, through border or airport crossings, will be on alert and will conduct more thorough searches of bags, cargo and vehicles. Until the threat is lowered, we encourage everyone to respect our waters and borders as we handle the threat from this highly organized terrorist group.

The Admiral was sitting in his cabin aboard the USS Santiago, named after the capital of the nation, waiting for word on the mission. The Master Chief Petty Officer came in to the room, knocking to let the Admiral know he was there. “Sir, we've captured them.” “Excellent news Master Chief.” The technicians were setting up the broadcast and the podium. The podium stood in front of the flags of the services, Army Intelligence, Naval Intelligence, Marine Intelligence and Air Force Intelligence. The flag of MI6 was draped in the center, in between the service flags. On the podium was a new symbol of blue and red, replacing the old, lifeless symbol of blue and white. The Admiral walked up to the podium and the camera turned on. The broadcast would be sent to all the members of MI6 as well as the world. He cleared his throat and began to speak. “Comrades in MI6 and people around the world, The reign of Chimaera and Stagger Lee has come to an end. We have captured the rogue leaders who sought to extend their rule through emergency powers. Their power-hungry ways, their thirst for power, are not what we are about. Aden – The capital of Novak has officially been moved to Amal, located in what used to be known as Riyadh City. Started four months ago, government buildings are expected to be completed by the end of the year. City officials, carried over from Riyadh, have stated they are taking bids from domestic and foreign companies to build on vacant properties around the city. The bidding process will end when all vacant properties are purchased and approved by the national government. The government has made it clear that nations with sanctions in place by Novak or allied nations will not be able to bid on properties until the sanctions are lifted. Doha – The search for Essa Reid, leader of the terrorist group known as The Lord’s Sword, came to an end last week when members of the Novaki Army shot and killed the high-profile face of the movement in a shootout outside a training facility on Suwad al Janubiyah. According to military officials, a fireteam chased Reid close to the coast, where he opened fire on the men intending to capture him. The fireteam, in response, fired back. Bullets struck Reid and his two bodyguards, instantly killing all three men. As a part of the offensive against Reid, the army captured hundreds of members of The Lord’s Sword. A trial will begin tomorrow to determine guilt and sentencing. The prosecutor is pushing for the stripping of citizenship from all those found guilty and the death penalty. A military judge will make the final decision regarding both.

In Gaza, Bahrain and Qatar Promptly after taking off from Yasser Arafat International Airport, two F-23 squadrons sought out their targets in the rural desert outside the city of Rafah. These targets, mostly suspected hideouts for the Lords Sword Gaza leadership and weapons caches, were found a few weeks earlier. Their construction was simple, building off abandoned structures. Cruising through the night sky, the targets were spotted. In the span of 10 seconds, bombs would accurately destroy targets within 30 meters of accuracy. Meanwhile, another mission was being carried out to destroy the primary training facilities in Bahrain and Qatar. Two squadrons of F-23s would take off, promptly destroying the centers shortly after takeoff. Approximately 3,000 soldiers on the ground would enter to secure the facilities, to capture any survivors and to gather any intelligence about their operations. The runway Reid would have used to escape was damaged, as were the aircraft located nearby. Boats located on a local pier were destroyed, leaving him trapped on the island. His 2nd-in-command was killed in the attacks and the others began to scatter. The might of the Novaki military was too much for the group, with members laying down their arms and surrendering before they could be killed. Reid made his way out of the compound, towards the coast, with his bodyguards. A fire team fired on the escaping leader, striking the bodyguards in the back and Reid in his thigh. The bodyguards stopped moving, but Reid was struggling to run. He tripped over a rock and fell to the ground. His body didnt move. A Novaki medic rushed to his side to determine his status. The sound of a gun was heard and the medic dropped. The fireteam leader opened fire on Reid, shooting him multiple times. With their guns pointing at Reid, they surrounded him. Someone checked his pulse and he was confirmed dead. The kill would be called into command and General Qurei was notified shortly after. The Lords Sword lost their spokesman and leader. The resistance was coming to an end in Novak, but the remaining members began dispersing. Most were caught, however some managed to escape. Those captured were to face the military courts for crimes against the Novaki government, military and state. General Qurei met with Kochavi later in the day. The Admiral had a pleased look on his face, knowing this victory would solidify the government as stable and willing to pursue those who sought to harm their people. Admiral, the military courts will be able to begin trials a week from today, said General Qurei Wonderful news. He replied. Heard and McDonald Island Supply ships were departing once again, leaving behind the last of the stations equipment. The facility was nearly finished with members of the Novaki Amphibious Forces beginning their training. Living quarters, religious facilities and commissaries were being built to accommodate the new battalion. Colonel Ismail Masuq was tapped to lead the station in the south Indian, allowing him to coordinate with Novaks African allies.
