  1. Amal - Admiral Aviv Kochavi, leader of the Interim Council, has declared a state of emergency in Novak. The combination of The Lords Sword and the conflicts embroiling Europe and Asia has put Novak is a precarious position, according to the Admiral in a press conference. Admiral Kochavi has announced the Interim Council has voted to make him the Commander-in-Chief of the military, Chancellor of the Republic and voted to dissolve the Majlis al-Shura. The Admiral has stated the new cabinet will be announced by the end of the week. In response, civilians and military personnel alike have begun organizing protests. The largest of which is planned for downtown Amal, where it is rumored at least a thousand people will be attending. Amal Police have made it known they will be there to monitor the situation and arrest lawbreakers. Doha - Qatar, Bahrain and Gaza held a referendum to join the Novaki nation as fully-fledged states within the country. The results were accepted by the Ministry of Interior prior to Admiral Kochavi taking control of the federal government. The integration process will begin by the end of the year. **Classified** Through Persia, three F-23 squadrons, five F-15K squadrons and 5 B-2 bombers were sent to Uriankhai, per the defense agreement. Another 20,000 soldiers would be sent to the region in order to protect the mainland of Novaks newest ally. Heard and McDonald was recently resupplied as soldiers from the Diego Garcia patrol reached the island. The staff were replaced with a fresh battalion as the previous deployment as coming to a close. After a few days, the ships would begin patrolling the Indian Ocean again.
  2. The Admiral would sign the documents as well. "I am glad we could come to an agreement amid the wartime environment that faces us all." Immediately after signing, the agreed amount of forces would be mobilized to Uriankhai.
  3. "We'll make sure to send a few air squadrons and about 10,000 ground troops to the base. With the details of an agreement made, I have sent you a document detailing the arrangements we have discussed." An aide would send the base agreement and the defense/economic treaty.
  4. "While Novak typically has not required a forward operating base from previous allies, due to the proximity to our nation and the ability to easily travel over allied territory, we simply request the ability to operate a joint ground and air base with your military. Your air force, of course, would have the ability to land and refuel at Novaki air bases in our nation and in the Indian Ocean."
  5. "We are interested in alternative forms of energy to supplement and eventually replace our oil-based forms of energy production. We are willing to allow your energy companies to sell the designs to Novakian energy companies. I believe we will be able to build a fruitful economic relationships, beginning with military and energy industries. As with most economic agreements Novak makes, I prefer protecting our economic interests, especially defense industries operating abroad. As such, I would like a defense arrangement as a part of this agreement."
  6. "Which industries do you believe Uriankhai has an advantage in producing over Novak? We have various industries that provide high-tech goods and raw materials across the world, so where do you feel trade will benefit our countries the most? "
  7. A contract was written up and sent to the military procurement offices of Uriankhai for the aircraft. "We will begin deliveries as soon as possible. We would like to invite your crews to Novak, in order to train to operate the Novaki-specific designs and to deliver the aircraft back to your country."
  8. "How many of each? The aircraft will take some time to complete. We will be able to sell the land-based Aster and Patriot missile systems and be able to provide a license for you to build the missiles in your nation."
  9. "We are very selective in who we choose to sell weaponry, due to the tendency for countries to fall and weapons landing in the wrong hands. I have two questions, what makes Uriankhai more stable than its predecessors and the nations around it? And what are you seeking? I had a Novaki Military Industries representative send you a list of equipment we sell, export models of course."
  10. If 50k+ are banned again, I'll still be writing.
  11. "Flattery is not necessary in times like this. Japan has made an assault on Europe, plunging the region into war. This is on top of their transgressions in the Indian a few years ago. Asia has always been fraught with conflict, so we are glad to see a relatively stable nation rise from the rubble. What is it that you want to chat about?"
  12. **Classified** Diego Garcia The island was placed on high alert, with Anti-ship systems, Iron Dome, Aster systems, Arrow 2 systems and Patriot systems put into mobile positions. The carrier group stationed on the island would be deployed to patrol the open waters of the East Indian, south to Heard and McDonald. The destroyer squadron would patrol from Diego Garcia to Socotra. Both would be fully armed. The long-range radar system would be on alert for all vessels and aircraft operating in the region. Land-based surveillance aircraft would start making long range patrols over the Indian. Sea-based surveillance aircraft would do the same near the carrier group as they moved between the islands. Socotra & Seychelles These islands would be placed on high alert, with the same mobile defense systems called into action. Radar and reconnaissance equipment on the islands would begin tagging anomalies, while airborne patrols would begin from military bases in the region. Heard & McDonald The radar equipment began fully operating for the first time and was working in conjunction with Diego Garcia and Carthage assets to maintain eyes on the Indian. The island was not placed on high alert, but was instructed to watch and report on any movements in the region. Air and sea defenses would be placed on alert. Gaza The carrier group attached to Gaza was mobilized and place on high alert. Surveillance missions would begin in the Mediterranean and over Gaza, but remain out of combat range, in order to prevent a surprise assault on the tiny territory. Mobile, land-based Anti-ship systems, Iron Dome, Aster systems, Arrow 2 systems and Patriot systems would be placed on alert, as well as ground defenses. Bahrain & Qatar As the fighting with The Lord’s Sword died down, the mission shifted to attack prevention. The likelihood of an attack on Bahrain or Qatar was slim, but there was no chance to waste. The mobile systems deployed to Gaza were deployed in Bahrain and Qatar as well. Civilians were allowed to continue living freely in both territories, as the systems would be deployed outside major civilian centers. Novak Proper Novak Proper would mobilize for possible attacks, with Iron Dome, Arrow 2 missile systems, Aster missile systems and Patriot Missile Systems being placed into mobile positions in Sudan, the Horn, along the Red Sea and on Arabia. Mobile anti-ship systems would be set up near the coasts of the Red Sea and the Indian, as well as the Persian Gulf. Ground and Air forces were placed on high alert to prepare for African League activation.
  13. Well that's an interesting and surprising twist.
  14. Not everyone has time to read every single thread and every single post made by people. Edit: This is in reference to Mael's post.
  15. It's not pointless. You make the intent to use optional-canon civilian technology (the updated canals) for military means, it has to be addressed.
  16. Civilian-tech related RP should not have a military effect. People did say they did not recognize optional-canon technology and that would certainly fall under that.
  17. Mogar, The Triple-E Maersk cannot go through the Panama Canal. They're simply too large to fit at the shallow depth of the canal.
  18. "Novak fully recognizes New England and welcomes their return to world prominence."
  19. "The Republic of Novak fully recognizes the United States of North America as an independent nation."
  20. You have a post where only 12 hours have passed after the previous one, but it's on separate days. It counts as much as Cent's.
