This has become a mess of GM piecemeal approvals for canon recognition and it's time to change it. What should we do about custom military technology? I believe all custom military technology should be optional recognition. There are too many what-if's in their creation and use. They've caused nothing but trouble and no one can agree on where the line should be drawn in their creation. Side note: I also believe that as long as if people use strictly RL stats, they can use whatever imagery they want for their equipment. Want your air force to look like it's from 300 years in the future? Go for it, but the stats will still be a RL aircraft.

No it isn't. Grounds for a lock is requesting a lock and due to the nature of being at war (and therefore unable to not be touched), Yeru cannot be in a lock. Triyun was not given a lock when he went on vacation because he didn't request one. I wasn't given a lock when I said I was going on vacation because I didn't ask for one (and due to closing off the Red Sea ICly, I couldn't request one). People go on vacation and have limited ability to post all the time, that doesn't mean there are "grounds for a short lock".

We knew she was going on vacation, so it doesn't ignore it, it's a non-factor in this situation. The only way for someone to not be wiped at 21 days is via a lock. She did not request a lock. This inactivity would not be under discussion if it were anyone else, other than Yeru. If I didn't post ICly for 21 days, no one would argue that I'm actually active.

The 2 month notification was wiped with the lock vote because that was a part the old lock rule. The rule is requesting a lock, to not exceed 21+28 days of IC inactivity. Edit: Had to check Ty's poll to make sure of dates.

Honestly? I'm in favor of removing the "case-by-case" basis for custom military designs and shooting for an outright rejection of all custom military designs.
