1.
this is nice to see, though you couldn't find an image without a SAMPLE watermark?
Must be a trial signature edition, to see if it's cooler than /s/. So far, so good, although I agree with earlier comments saying that Kashy's depiction here doesn't do her justice.
2. April Fools? If not, what sphere gets the good news, Aqua or Orange?
3.
this game is boring now, lets have a world cup or something now.
Yeah, even the Paralympics are almost over! It's March Madness now! I want to fill out a 65-alliance bracket! (Stupid play-in game for the sake of throwing Dayton & ESPN a bone!)
4. People must be desperate if they feel it necessary to flame others in response to a treaty that, were it not involving my alliance, would be about as useful to me as bargain-brand toilet paper from Family Dollar. All I'm desperate for is the opportunity to become friends with Iunctus, even if we wind up in opposing trenches down the road. Civility can exist when nukes are a-flying, and should the time come to prove it, I believe we both will do so. o/ Invicta o/ Iunctus /me sends a case of Boulevard Wheat Ale to each Iunctus member of legal drinking age, and a 12-pack of Virgin Cola to everyone else.
5. One of Invicta's first treaties was a PIAT with NOAH. It was a joy for us to work with NOAH in arranging and maintaining this friendship. NOAH was truly one of CN's best class acts and, until now, unsung heroes. They did it right.
6.
Reading the title I was expecting the surrender terms to include a wine review. Was anyone else disappointed by this?
Actually, yes. Allow me: Augusta Winery's 2007 Cynthiana Red Wine Made from the Norton Grape, Missouri's state grape. Enjoyable taste, not too much afterbite. Goes great with KC Strip (Porterhouse) Steaks and hearty meat+marinara pasta dishes.
7. So who was Billy Ray and who was Winthorpe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gekaEzqj5g Congrats on peace to all parties.
8. To paraphrase something said to one of my hometown heroes: “Give 'em Hell, BAPS!”
9. We might be facing 14+ alliances, but they haven't got to our bottles of Jack yet! Bottoms up! o/ NAC o/ Invicta o/ Old No.7 o/ PEACE o/ Anyone who wants to turn Moore County, Tennessee (the home of Jack Daniels Distillery) into a wet county o/ BOULEVARDS \o (the drink of choice to prepare ourselves for the shots of Old No.7 we are about to imbibe on the battlefield) (Also, Dawny )
10. Oh dear, the hooligans are at it again. Someone cut off their supply of Carling! Best of luck to whoever needs it the most.
11. Sic 'em, Wolfpack! INVICTA GU BRÀCH! WOLFPACK GU BRÀCH! (Also, Dawny )
12. Go get them, TPF. Make them wish they were Celtic fans.
13. Congratulations on the most convoluted chain of MA & oA activations ever known to CN. I cannot feel but humbled that you have to invoke all that on one alliance just to advance your coalition of thugs and assclowns. Just remember: where I come from, Purple is the color we paint on our fences to indicate No Trespassing. We also have the Castle Doctrine, mean we can shoot whatever the heck we want at trespassers. Lock and load.
14.
Thanks for the kind words Locke. This time is for real, I don't plan to leave this alliance ever. Also, Locke, it would be great if you didn't egg on my members. Thanks.
May Sparta & your members hold you to that. The longer you stick around with your alliance, the better you'll get at it. Best wishes to FK 2.0
15. To quote my good friend, the Hon. Leviticus D. Rudekker: "What is this I don't even…"
16. If Purple are considered in rebellion, then my name is Dr. Joseph Warren. ¡¡Viva la revoluciona de las republicanas púrpuras!!
17. (Pretend there's a banner here saying "Invicta Official Announcement" and it's all decked out in art deco.) Invicta, North American Confederacy, sign treaty dedicated to an American legend Invicta and NAC are pleased to announce the ratification of a new treaty to replace the protectorate that has long connected our two alliances. Invicta are glad to see NAC build friendships among our Purple neighbours, and with their return to Pegasus, we sought to reaffirm our friendship with a strong treaty. And to do that, we needed a really, really stiff drink. We wish to note that BAPS, in their role as flag alliance of Pegasus, have approved the text of this document.Shots of Old No.7 all around! (for those of legal age; everyone under legal age gets Mountain Dew) o/ NAC o/ Invicta o/ Jack Daniels o/ PEACE, Pegasus & Poseidon o/ The rest of Purple o/ BOULEVARDS! \o (Also, Dawny )
18. This must be by far the greatest day in GPA's existence. Too bad they have the tact to not gloat about the awesomeness of neutrality today. That said, :lol1:
19. Keep it short and sweet, The goal of every missive On all Bob's channels. Thus, Invicta wish To make known its position By form of haiku. CB on Phoenix Provide no winds for the sails Of the aggressors. By our O-D-P With Phoenix Federation Invicta enters. Consider this prose Our entrance into the war To aid T-P-F. We thus declare on \m/, G-O-D and Athens, Those three aggressors. We will defend friends, Allies and others who stand With T-P-F now. Our nations stand firm, A Spirit Undefeated, For Purple and Friends.
20. I was expecting something more meaty in this thread. I want the last 30 seconds of my cyberlife back please. Hope your vacation and new year turn out well.
21. Normally taking precautions means not waiting until right before a certain object of rank odor hits an oscillating small appliance. This wouldn't look pathetic had this action been taken a month or perhaps even a week ago. But alas: c'est la vie.
22. Insert the cluck of a certain barnyard animal. May Guru Order enjoy the tech they long to avoid putting to use. I sense that potential allies down the road will make note of this sentiment. Best wishes in the future to Guru Order and my friends in NATO.
23. As the guy who came up with the mass Hippification of Legion members for Christmas three years ago, I echo the desires of this thread. /s/ Atlashill of Kansouri
24. Thanks for starting our entry, Locke. I'll go ahead and flesh it out further.
25. Fixed. You can't regain something you didn't lose.
