  1. If I recall Survivor correctly, someone gets voted off every three days, not every day. Shouldn't it work out where the alliance with the worst gain after a 3-day period gets "voted off"?
  2. Wow, someone was still on Esper after all this time? Didn't the lot of us migrate from there two years ago? Welcome to Coldfront, OBR. We'll help you keep warm.
  3. *Atlashill loves the elbow room Invicta has.

  6. New alliances tend to pop up right after major wars. I established a micro alliance shortly after GW3. And like most micro alliances, we only lasted fewer than two months. Then we merged into another micro alliance (turned out to be a reverse merger) and after another six weeks, gobbled up another micro before merging into Invicta, who formed after GW3 and a solid four months before several of the now-sanctioned alliances who formed the backbone of Karma. Much as alliances formed when the mantle of power coalesced more around Pacifica after GW3, this is part of the transition of alpha status from Pacifica to Sparta, TOP, and other Karma alliances least damaged in the past war. People see a new world and get ambitious, or are disgruntled with the fall of the old world and strike out on their own. Yes, many of them will never get past square one, but for every 5-10 Kaleidoscopes, there is a Poison Clan and Ragnarok. New alliances mean new ideas and players. Targeting these alliances just to keep them from forming is very much elitist and downright counter-productive to the ongoing dynamics of Bob.
  7. Invicta extends protection to Killed in Action It is my honour, as the Minister of Neighbourhood Development, to welcome into our subdivision of small Purple alliances, Killed In Action. Their leadership, having prior experience, have shown a keen interest in building a strong-knit and efficient alliance on the Purple sphere, and we in Invicta are willing and happy to assist them as they get started up. We look forward to hopefully upgrading this pact on or before 24 October. o/ Invicta o/ KIA o/ Purple Sphere o/ 7-year, 100,000-Mile Warranties o/ Boulevards \o (Also, Dawny )

  10. No you cannot. That only works in 24 Hours of Le Mans.
  11. Back to Penn Valley!! Although it would have been nice to get some new names in there: Mark Cavendish for alternative transit, and we need to make sure Gloria Squitiro doesn't make it there.
  12. You just have to love people incredibly eager to scream their alliance's existence before the alliance is ready. Seeing as you're vying for CDT, best wishes.
  13. Happy Anniversary to our Purple Neighbours! Race you to three!
  14. Thanks. Excellent job starting up this version.
  15. I thought Perma ZI was on one nation, while Eternal ZI was on one player's current and future nations. Just being nit-picky. "Eternal" has a more ominous tone than "Perma"
  16. XR1, some friendly advice for you: Public Channels FTL. (OK, it's a less obvious way of saying "Private Channels FTW.") Conveying what you feel was necessary to convey to whoever (I presume Invicta since Invicta members constitute most of your public IRC channel's participants) would have been better for you and your alliance's public image had you done it in private message or query, or at the very least in their embassy/ies. But eh: you live, you learn.

  19. Same here. Let's get back to business, Invicta! Furthermore, Dawny
  20. I do not recall Legion attacking NPO during GW3. The NAP Legion blatantly threw to the wayside was with TOP. Also FAN, if you can consider GLOCK an NAP right after they said they weren't signing anymore NAPs.
  21. Best wishes to our purple brethren at Olympus.
  22. Suspending Article IV of Poseidon has me a bit concerned. Seriously, if some random dingbat bloc attacks us, Valhalla can't jump in with the rest of the sphere to help us? I can understand the rationale for preventing the other way around, but this strikes me as a potentially intended effort to diminish Purple Sphere cohesion. Aside from that, glad to see Valhalla complete their war duties. Best wishes with the rebuilding, and your Purple neighbors will be glad to help however possible.
  23. For each week this war continues, I give NPO a month to rebound, at max. See: GW1.
