1. The Kingdom's borders to be fortified! Announces grand project detailing new line of outposts and fortifications along the Kingdom's current borders! Issue 12.Y July 25th, 20XX The Kralj announced today his intentions of expanding the fledgling Kingdom's defenses on its borders, creating numerous more outposts and fortifications to help the guards protecting Yugoslavian territory to do their job faster, safer and easier. Razor-wire Fences will be erected throughout the entirety of the Kingdom's current and future territory bordering neighbors including all borders not bordering any current organized state, with guard posts to be constructed every 20 km along with bunkers to be built on the sides of every road leading in and out of the Kingdom. Each guard post and bunker would posses a telephone line for faster communication, with the bunkers themselves having radio and machine guns for armaments. The bunkers would be level with the trenches that would be built, so in the case of warfare the brave soldiers can enter and exit safely from the bunker. Each and every bunker would also posses a moveable Cupolas for infantry artillery to be used if the need for it arose. In addition to the bunkers, there would be artillery and missile emplacements on every major road choke point leading in and out of the Kingdom. On every major road, several miles beyond the bunkers would be constructed a good-sized military installation where border guards would be headquartered in. The installation would posses an armory, a fuel depot, a vehicle yard, a small heliport, a radar and a communications room. Within this installation, all manners of pre-fabricated defensive fortifications could be located in, ranging from: Concrete barriers, sandbags, Czech Hedgehogs, etc. In addition to the grand plan, the port of Dubrovnik and others are slated to be expanded on for the increased needs of the Yugoslavian Navy. More details to come.
2. "Does anyone have a hard copy of the Geneva and Hague Conventions? As you all know, things in the Kingdom's past before its current revival was not all fun and games and as such we have no copies of these institutions." "With regards to the proposal set forward by King Gregory, it seems adequate but I feel that revising the need for meditation to be as such: "In the case of two parties within the League of Nations be on a path towards conflict, either parties or a third party within the League can call for mediation, upon which a fourth party mediator will be mutually agreed to by all to mediate between the two original parties and hopefully come to a diplomatic resolution between the two." "I do hope that the clause as drafted by I seems adequate enough and will most likely see change till everyone is content with the clause."
3. Private The Sovereign of the Kingdom stood alongside his Ambassador, a polite smile on his face, "The trip was an enjoyable one, Emperor Wymore," he answered for his subject in fluent English yet with a hint of an accent as he pulled back a chair, gesturing for his Ambassador to take her seat before the Sovereign took his own. "I do hope you were not waiting too long."
4. Private The Kralj smiled wider at the Ambassador, "Yes, that it exactly what we mean. The world needs stability more than ever and the first steps in doing so is to establish these groupings to begin with, Ambassador Remis, and the Kingdom hand in hand with the Hellenic Republic shall lay down the foundations of the Eastern Mediterranean Union." Dragojev snapped his fingers and a pen and a piece of paper were handed to him, the Yugoslavian King scribbling onto the piece of parchment, taking his good time before he passed it towards the good Ambassador along with a clipping of a newspaper, "I do hope that the treaty text is good enough as it stands, and while we're talking matters of state, I wish to make it known that the Kingdom will be fortifying its borders now that our rebuilding is coming to a close. I wish to make it known, Ambassador, that this is nothing against the Hellenic Republic but a harsh lesson that the Kingdom and its people were forced to learn at the hands of its former 'neighbor' in Romania." "One that we will never forget as long as the Kingdom stands." OOC: Treaty Text:
Eastern Mediterranean Union In the interest of a stable and prosperous eastern Mediterranean, the sovereign nations of the Hellenic Republic and the Kraljevina Jugoslavija agree to come together and usher in the creation of the Eastern Mediterranean Union, with all the benefits, privileges, requirements, and regulations outlined in this founding document. Article I. Sovereignty Members shall retain their sovereignty. Members of this Union hereby agree to recognize the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their fellow members and shall agree not to take any action to undermine the aforementioned sovereignty or territorial integrity, nor shall members permit their territory to be used for such a purpose. Article II. Non-Aggression Members shall agree not to undertake any act of aggression, be it overt or covert in nature, against their fellow members. Acts of aggression include, but are by no means limited to: military action, espionage, blockades and embargoes. Article III. Trade Members pledge to encourage increased trade and economic cooperation where such cooperation is possible. All shall agree to identify economic sectors in which tariffs on products from fellow members may be reduced. Members are highly encouraged, though by no means obligated, to lower trade tariffs in the aforementioned economic sectors. Article IV. Further Cooperation Members shall explore areas of further cooperation between themselves and shall reserve the right to amend this agreement (on the basis of mutual approval) to include such bilateral cooperation. Article V. Membership Additional members may be added upon an unanimous vote of the current membership. Prospective members will only be considered upon an official sponsor from a current member or a fulfilled application filed and dated by the prospective member. Members may be removed by a three fourths vote from all members on serious grounds of going against the spirit of the Union. Article VI. Withdrawal from the Union Should any member feel that this Union is no longer in the best interests of their nation, they may proceed to withdraw from the Union provided that the notice of the intent to cancel the Union is communicated simultaneously to the other members embassy and government. Once the notice of the intent to withdraw is received, there shall be a seven day (OOC: 48 hours IRL) period before the member shall be considered fully withdrawn from the Union. During this period, members remain bound still to the withdrawing member by the terms of the Union. Signed, For the Hellenic Republic, For Kraljevina Jugoslavija Dragojev Belojevic, HM Kralj
5. "Would it not be best to suggest the port city of San Juan in Puerto Rico within the United Caribbean States?" asked Zlatan Pukar, an eyebrow quirked as he glanced at the UCS representative, "It would be more central, not too deep within the Caribbean and the ability to reach the port from all countries would be made easier due to its prime location."
6. The Kingdom of Yugoslavia would forward a roster of the ships to that were on their way:
Destroyers: 2 Beograd Class - Supply Frigates: 3 Split Class - Supply and Emergency response Hospital ship: 3
This accounts for the entirety of the ships that the Kingdom would spare in addition to the brave men and women manning the ships.
The Yugoslavian hospital ships Nega, Nada, and Saosećanje were sent alongside the military and supply escort to meet up with the Hope Float collectively administered by the League of Nations. Before passing Gibraltar, they would re-supply in Marseille, French allied territory, before continuing their trek and finally traversing past Gibraltar. Once free of the Mediterranean, the ships would follow the natural curvature of Western Africa before reaching the closest tip to South America, resupplying there and fully committing to the hours to reach the Hope Fleet in South America in time.
7. The Kralj renovating the financial system! Announces new coinage and bills for the renewed Kingdom! Issue 11.Y Feb 7, 20XX The Kralj has announced the complete renovation of the Kingdom's financial system, alongside new coinage and bills that will be produced to go with the revamped system. To ease the burden on small business owners and new businesses, the Kingdom has reworked the laws entirely surrounding small and new small businesses in an effort to make the law easier to be understood and ensure that small business owners and new owners have all the opportunities and assistance that they require to be successful within the Kingdom. 8. Private "The Kingdom is more than pleased to hear that the state of the Plains Federation still exists, as such we humbly request a meeting between our two countries to discuss the movement forward of our relations, taking into consideration the debt that the Kingdom owes to the world at large. We also request if it's possible to establish an Embassy within the Federation. We hope that good relations and tidings flourish between our two great countries." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
9. Private "The Kingdom is more than pleased to hear from our former comrade in arms of Cascadia, as such we are grateful for the invitation and have assigned Mirjana Živković to be the Kingdom's representative alongside the Kingdom's Sovereign. We also request if it's possible to establish an Embassy within Cascadia. We hope that good relations and tidings flourish between our two great countries." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
10. Private The Kralj chuckled once before smiling, "We do not mean an organization like the likes of the League of Nations or the former United Nations, Ambassador, the Kingdom does see benefit in regional organizations, just not incredibly small ones like say a future Black Sea-leaning organization. That is not to say that we would not make overtures towards said organization if it's proven to be just as efficient as other examples we've seen before in our eyes, but the Kingdom naturally would...shy away from such small organizations. Regardless, due to the fact that it is you, Greece, coordinating this effort, we would be willing to have faith in our southern neighbor's intents."
11. Private Once more the Kralj nodded, "Yes, we do know that the Mediterranean and the Black Sea are different, the Kingdom however does not see much point in creating numerous small organizations like say one for the Mediterranean and another for the Black Sea when an umbrella organization with different departments under it will work best and more efficiently in our eyes, Ambassador."
12. Private The Sovereign nodded in understanding, "A simple solution to this then, name the organization the Eastern Mediterranean Union and in the eyes of the organization it sees the Black Sea as an official extension of itself, just a sub-part of it in order to maximize the efficiency of both trade, communications and diplomacy with all within the Eastern Mediterranean and the Black Sea."
13. Private The Sovereign pursed his lips, "Understanding this, then why pursue such a vast regional organization considering that the Balkans themselves are a region unto themselves on Europe? Why not pursue something smaller in which other Balkan nations who rise in due time can participate freely without having to tie themselves to other Mediterranean powers if that is not their wish?" he asked the Ambassador. "Do not mistake my questions as hesitance of the Kingdom to participate, we just feel the need to ask questions concerning the scope of the organization so the Kingdom knows what it might expect from it and its fellow organizational members."
14. Like Yeru says, it was indeed brought up in the PM's regarding nations being ported over from CNRP2 or claims for new nations. I do not know as to why Mogar felt the need to make such a decision without GM approval but it was caught by the GM team as a whole and ordered to be rectified as no one was to be exempted from the moratorium in expansion or declaring protectorates until the 30 days have passed.
15. Private "May I suggest a different name in that case then?" asked the Kralj, "Since it is more than likely that more Mediterranean nations will rise, I find it more feasible to be inclusive of the rest of the Mediterranean and name the intergovernmental organization the Mediterranean Union, representing a more vast repertoire of nations than simply the East Mediterranean."
16. Private The Kralj raised an eyebrow, "And what exactly would this...'Easter Mediterranean Community' entail in detail? Would other Mediterranean nations be involved or is this simply between the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Hellenic Republic?"
17. Private Dragojev blinked at the proposal before finally nodding, "Consider it done post-haste on our end, Ambassador Remis," the Sovereign answered with, "I do thank you for the kind words, the Kingdom has certainly been busy rebuilding after the costly war we both survived," he added before smiling politely at the foreign dignitary. As he finished two employees entered the room, each carrying a tray filled with refreshments and goodies to tide the two representatives over. The Sovereign of the Kingdom simply requested a glass of water and nothing more, the servants carrying a myriad of different drinks. "It is good to see that Greece now stands on her own two feet once more, Ambassador Remis. It pleases the Kingdom that our southern neighbor is resilient."
18. *Dons his GM Hat* Alrighty, considering that stories of a certain few were found to be in conflict, the GM's have discussed and agreed to the following: Anything that is brought from CNRP2 is considered optional recognition between players (Like say a treaty or history between the two) until both players recognize it as canon, therefore making it canon. Other players cannot force others to recognize CNRP2-related things, and any who do will face the wrath from the GM team. In addition, the story between Mael, Jesbro and Mogar is that the war happened, all three nations being damaged by the war outright and SEATO still remains an "active" organization, more or less being defunct de-facto due to each nation/country's focus being on rebuilding and internal projects. If either of the above three wishes to reroll as something new, a simple government and name change won't be enough, borders will have to be fixed accordingly and to be discussed with both the GM team and the appointed map maker to smooth things out.
19. The Yugoslavian representative, Zlatan Pavlovic Pukar, had finally arrived to the conference. He was the more quieter of the Kingdom's Great Council, preferring to speak privately with his Kralj about the affairs of the Kingdom's economy, trade and industry when something relevant needed his attention or decisive decision. A notepad and a pen were visible on his hands, jotting down things to have a glimpse of the current dynamic in the conference and what was being discussed before he felt the need to finally enter the ring and put forward the Kingdom's interests.
20. Private Standing besides the conference room's plain looking but tasteful table, the Kralj of the Kingdom turned and smiled at the Ambassador, "It's a pleasure to finally meet for the first time, Ambassador Remis," he greeted as he gestured to the table, hoping his guests would sit in order to get the meeting on track, "I hope you'll enjoy your stay within the famed White City of our kingdom."

22. The Yugoslavian Kingdom had sent their own envoy to the event organized by the government of Malta, Dražen Zoric Cižek, the Councilor of Foreign Affairs himself was the person designated to lead the charge and see what exactly it was that Malta wanted to discuss. All together after all the talking and the verbal smackdown that had been delivered in a shiny plate made by the King of Malta himself. The Councilor did his best to hide a smirk after all was said and done, having decided before to stay quiet, observe and listen before he made himself known to the crowd, "The Kingdom of Yugoslavia sees benefit in supporting such an endeavor and organizaiton to begin with. After all, the Kingdom owes a great debt to the world for its very existence."

Bestowed with powers as a proper Monarch, the King directly appoints a Regent and a Council; named the Great Council, which manages the Executive, Judicial and Legislative duties of the Kingdom. A dry wind, the Kosava, brings freezing air from central Eurasia in the winter, but snowfall is usually light. The Dalmatian coast enjoys mild Mediterranean weather. Summers on the coast are hot and dry with turquoise blue skies; a fair sea breeze, the Maestral, cools the land during mornings and afternoons. Winters are cool and rainy. A chilling winter wind known as the Bura sweeps down through gaps in the coastal mountains; and a southwest wind, the Jugo, brings winter rains. 24. Public In the heart of Beograd, the White City of the Serbs, Beli Dvor It had been a long time since he'd been here for it had broken his heart to see the Palace that the South Slavs cherished so much, had put their soul and will in to build become ruins in its totality. The Sovereign took solace in the fact that his people were still tenacious and steadfast as they were in the year coming out of the conflict that wrapped the world in flames, his subjects having rebuilt the seat of power of their homeland with a vigor approaching zealotry. An observation he did well in noting to ensure that nothing would come of it, leaving things as they were would not do. The provinces of Vovjodina, Macedonia and the Eastern part of Southern and Eastern Serbia had been the most ravaged during the conflict as a whole, the areas near Slovenia and the coast secured thanks in part due to the Kingdom's now fully blooded fleet. The Sovereign felt grateful that all he worked for was still standing, letting out a soft sigh before turning to face the gigantic crowd that stood, eyes filled with hope as they stared at their King. Dragojev Belojevic was a changed man in some regards, his brush with death and numerous scars that he now held played factors, one of them being the one that the crowd could see. This was his first public appearance after escaping from the hands of the Kingdom's southern 'Neighbor' and his duel that he narrowly survived through the skin of his teeth, almost literally were it not for the technology that the Tikalians had sent before their sudden disappearance. He hoped that wherever Tikal and the Tikalians had disappeared to, that they would be safe and blessed by their last act to the Kingdom. The Kralj sported a very visible scar, three lines of scarred tissue running vertically down his face. His "warm neighbor's" attempts of cutting him down had almost done him in, the arrogance and prideful nature his neighbor possessed was one he successfully played once to his benefit. The one and only time proved to be their leader's mistake, giving him the distraction needed to finally escape and rendezvous with his forces. It certainly surprised the Kingdom and himself to see his southern 'neighbor' in the midst of a violent revolution once they had gotten their bearings and beaten back the invasion of their home. Kralj Dragojev Belojevic stood tall and firm, a changed man but he was still their Kralj and their guide. The Kingdom was still standing, steadily rebuilding itself and would continue moving forward. "Ten years ago to this day, the Kingdom and the world in its entirety was plunged into the fire and flames of war, sparked by one nation's insecurity and paranoia. Our nation and its people are filled to the brim with brave men and women who dared to fight back for its safety, for the safety of their loved ones in the midst of war. Our nation also is lacking from those who fell, giving their all in an ultimate act of sacrifice for their loved ones and their duty. On this day, we as a nation, brothers and sisters come together to honor you. Those brave soldiers who gave their all and those who lived to tell the tale of the horrific war, it is you that we came here to honor. To those who are no longer with us, who faced death as long-lost friend and a smile on their faces, who smile down upon us from the heavens themselves. We thank you for your ultimate sacrifice and know that it never was in vain. To those who never saw the return of a loved one, be it a child, dear friend or a husband or wife. Know that the people of the Kingdom thank you and your loved one for their sacrifice. To those who mourn, grieving for those who never returned or were found, their final resting place in unknown obscurity, know that the Kingdom thanks you and your loved one for their sacrifice. To all who fell in battle, the Kingdom mourns for your loss as you were our brothers and sisters, cherished loved ones, dear friends and ultimately brothers and sisters in arms. The Kingdom will forevermore mourn the loss, bright lights snuffed out by the enemy who sought to subjugate us in our own homeland. As such it is finally time that we as a nation and united people; scarred though we may be, to rejoin the global stage once more. Our nation has been rebuilt, scarred but standing strong from the blood and flames that reforged our Kingdom to be mightier. Even though we rejoin the global stage and may forgive in time, we will never forget the atrocities committed by our enemies against the Kingdom, for we are Jedan narod, jedan kralj i jedna država!"
