  1. Private Having seen the dignitary from Carthage enter, the Kralj smiled politely in their direction as his own aides sit around him, two maps of the Italian and Greek peninsula in front of him with the Greek peninsula being filled in entirely, scribbles of Cyrillic surrounding the filled-in peninsula. "Greetings and on behalf of the Kingdom, we would like to thank Carthage in their willingness to undergo these diplomatic negotiations for the betterment of the Italian Peninsula. That being said, we sincerely hope that the trip and subsequent stay within the Great Lakes Republic was enjoyable at the least."
  2. Private Dragojev rubbed the bridge of his nose as the head of the staff of his palace managed a hurricane of chaotic activity, organized in only the manner that she and only she could understand. The inherent chaos that surrounded Beli Dvor aside, the thought of his palace came to the forefront of his mind. While he was humble in all in his endeavors as best as he could, the Sovereign of Yugoslavia knew very well in his heart that the people while grateful for his humility as their king would chastise him for not being a proper King and having a grand Palace. The Kralj looked all around him, ignoring the chaotic mass and simply focusing on the room itself that he was in. He was humble enough to admit that he knew almost nothing about his palace, barring the key features and exits for his safety. He focused on the table that a simplistic vase with white flowers sat on, the apparent gold coloring of its legs contrasting with the flora before gazing on all that he could of the room, the man wondering if anything within his Palace was made by his people's hands or simply from foreign lands. Regardless, once the meeting with his neighboring Monarch was done and over with, he knew that he had another project upon his hands to start and finish. The complete renovation of Beli Dvor, the White Palace of the White City. With that new project done, Dragojev simply remained still as the activity washed all around him, the Sovereign waiting while the Romanian Regină to finally arrive to the palace, barely noticing one of his staff laying down a tea pot, two ornate cups and a tray of Krofne doughnuts.
  3. Albania is now a protectorate of Yugoslavia. Would appreciate a speedy inclusion to the list!
  4. Public "The Kingdom of Yugoslavia confirms this declaration of independence, having read extensively through the provided document that the government of Sparta had delivered and as such, it behooves the Kingdom to fully welcome the Greek nation into the world stage with all the rights inherent to it as a sovereign nation. We hope for peace and mutual understanding between the Spartan nation and the rest of Europe." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  5. Private A communique would be sent towards the Romanian Monarch, addressed properly to Maria I.
  6. Declaration of Protection! The Kingdom's Forces to protect the region of former Albania! Issue 9.Y March 14, 20XX With the subsequent collapse of the Albanian state that used to be the south-western neighbor of the Kingdom, the Kralj has seen fit to publicly announce a declaration of protection above the infamous Balkan people to ensure peace and stability for its residents, providing much needed peace of mind for the Albanian citizens. Not much has been elaborated upon by the Kingdom but several divisions have been equipped and deployed to act as its peace keepers, the Kralj has been reported to have stated the following: "The Albanian lands has always had an influence upon the good peoples of the Kingdom, thus it behooves us to help the citizens in their time of need." From what the paper was able to discuss with the Sovereign, unlike the situation with the City of World's Desire almost a year ago, the Kralj had send prior notice and communication of their intent to all of their neighbors and allies.
  7. What kind of fantasy RP are we talking about here, Kevz? More along the lines of ISOT'ing countries to a different world (Be it fantasy or something else) or just outright RP'ing in an established fantasy setting?
  8. Private Dragojev raised his hand once more, hoping to steer the conversation back to where it should be. "Having heard the note from the Swedish Monarch, I do believe it's prudent to move forward and discuss the proposal set by Signore Oberti."
  9. Private Nairobi, Great Lakes Republic Day of the Conference Dragojev looked at the building where it would the conference between the Kingdom and Carthage, the Kenyatta International Conference Center, stood tall as a staggering 28-story building located within the central business district of the capital of the Great Lakes Republic, Nairobi. If he was honest, it was certainly a magnificent building that served appropriately for what most likely occurred within its halls in a daily basis. The motorcade kept trudging along towards the tower-like building, the silence being welcome as the Kralj gathered his thoughts for the coming negotiations, the Sovereign of Yugoslavia and his entourage going through the proper procedures that had interrupted the daily operation of the Center before they were escorted towards the prepared conference room.
  10. Private Dragojev would glance disappointingly at the Romanian Monarch for a moment once more before shaking his head outright, the Kralj having no idea why she was so contrarian or outright refusing to acknowledge that France had a stake in this since the french portion of land were indeed historical french territory. "I would appreciate it, Regină Maria I, if you could refrain from such commentary. We all are Europeans in this situation and to outright ignore the French historical tie to the territory is to cause further destabilization across the continent for no reason, and it behooves us to do our best to ensure stability and peace with our neighbors." "I will note your suggestion to the proposal down, however," he added as he scribbled further down on his map, the Sovereign drawing out the proposals while another aide passed him another copy of the map.
  11. Private Dragojev raised a hand, hoping the others would get his gesture to peacefully remain silent before he spoke, "Please, my lady and sirs, we are not here to insult or argue about pedantry," he firmly ordered as he lowered his hand, grabbing a pen before he scribbled on the provided map that was in front of him as he glanced disappointingly at the Romanian Monarch for a moment the Yugoslavian Kralj turned his gaze back to his map. "Now, I believe that we know for certain that as it stands France is isolationist for the purpose of internal reorganization, thus making the resolution of returning the french lands given to Snow Haven to simply be well-intentioned but would simply put an additional burden to the re-organizational effort that the French nation is currently underway. We also know that former Snow Haven compromised of former Switzerland and land provided from the former Italy and the still-existing French Empire, so it's a complex situation to begin with before putting anything else on top of it." The Kralj raised a hand to rub at his chin, deep in thought before resuming, "Now, what I'm currently thinking to hopefully resolve this situation peacefully is to have the french portion of land be administered jointly by both Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic as a protectorate, with three caveats to the two governments involved in this protectorate administration. If the citizens within the protectorate formally organize a government, it'll do so under the joint blessing and endorsement of Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic, and when the occasion that the French are finished with their internal reorganization they'll have two possibilities. The French Empire can diplomatically request the french portion of land and the land would only be returned with the approval of both Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic or they can petition to join as an administrator of this protectorate only and only if they gain the approval of both Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic. This is to be done while allowing the Cisalpine Republic continue its efforts of integrating the Italian portion formally and peacefully into its Republic without any issue." "What say you all to this proposal of mine?"
  12. Private in the heart of Beograd, the White City of the Serbs, Beli Dvor Dragojev sighed as he gently laid back the phone onto its cradle, the tip of his digits briefly touching upon the grey casing. He had called ahead to his ally, Queen Catharine Victoria Akinyi the monarch of the Great Lakes Republic, to ensure that both delegations from the Kingdom and Carthage would have an adequate room prepared to stay in for the upcoming negotiations in a week's time along with the conference room to be used for the negotiations. Raising a hand, he rubbed the bridge of his nose as he thought on what might and might not be should the negotiations fail or succeed, the Sovereign knowing very well that he had to bide his time and ensure that his own Kingdom would be ready for whatever may happen. Kralj Dragojev Belojevic rose from his chair while nodding to his two friends and allies in this endeavor of his, Dražen Cižek and Milenko Božovic, "Inform the staff that we are to prepare for a flight in five day's time, we shall be in route towards our ally in Africa for this conference and I do not want any delays whatsoever," he ordered as Milenko nodded with a lop-sided smile. "You got it, boss," he said in return before departing from the Kralj's quaint office. "I do believe I don't have to tell you what is at stake, Dra', since it's quite obvious and clear as day to the point that a brain dead chimp can grasp it," said Dragojev as he approached his Councilor of Foreign Affairs who simply nodded, adopting a grim look. "Yes, doesn't take much to see it plain as day, Drago," answered Dražen before he continued, "Biding our time is the best option that will benefit the region in the long term." Dragojev frowned before nodding, "Good to see that we're on the same page, Dra'," he said as the two proceeded to leave his office, to prepare for the coming flight in six day's time. [hr] Nairobi, Great Lakes Republic Once the fifth day had passed, the Yugoslavian delegation would be en-route in late morning on a flight from the capital of the Kingdom to their ally's capital, Nairobi. The trip would take an entirety of eight hours with give or take a few minutes, taking most of the sixth day's with it. The Kralj had taken account the needed time for the trip and had planned accordingly, using the remnants of the sixth day to rest in the spacious rooms his ally had provided for the delegation, knowing that the coming day would be one for the history books.
  13. Private Dragojev smiled as he finally rose from his chair, the Tyrian purple cloak that the Kralj wore flowing with the motions, "Welcome all to the famous White City of the Serbs!" he greeted exuberantly as he nodded towards the Cisalpine Secretary, "I thank you for your generous gift, Signore Oberti," he said as his aide brought him the bottle of Lambrusco di Sorbara, "And a good year too," he added before chuckling, nodding to his aide who placed the bottle of exquisite wine in the conference's room impromptu refreshment bar's wine rack. The Kralj took a moment to observe where each of the sovereign's were seated, slightly noting with a morbid sense of amusement that the Alvonian Minister was seated to his right and the Romanian Monarch on his left, with the Secretary being seated next to the Romanian Monarch. Banishing the humor of the situation, he nodded to each as he swiftly sat in his seat. "I am very grateful and appreciate to see that each of you arrived and are participating in this negotiating table in Beograd, it shows that all of us want to prevent blood being shed needlessly and for that, I am thankful," he started as he nodded to his aides who calmly gave each sovereign a map of the contested area between Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic. "What my aides are handing to each one of you is a centered map magnified between France, Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic as they stand. The blank area between the three being the former country of Snow Haven having been compromised of former Switzerland and french land given to provide the neutral state with a port and access to the Mediterranean. Since France has sadly been isolationist with their focus on internal reorganization, the borders of France in the map are simply there to provide a better view of the former area of Snow Haven." "I'll refrain from stating anything for now until the negotiating table knows fully what the Alvonian and the Cisalpine governments want with respect to the territory of former Snow Haven but before fully tackling the main issue, I'll cede the floor to Regină Maria I if she wishes to say anything beforehand. If not, we shall continue on with Signore Oberti and proceed from there."
  14. (OOC: I'm just going to skip straight to where everyone starts entering the meeting room if you all don't mind.) Private Just after the treaty with Romania was signed to peacefully exchange the Romanian provinces that the Kralj had administered in their intervention within the lands of Romania, Dragojev would travel from his rather quaint office in the former national seat of power of the former Serbian nation to his home in Beli Dvor, known as the White Palace in the Royal Compound of Beograd. Dragojev's entire Grand Council would attend as his aides in this coming negotiation, as he himself arrived early to ensure that the entirety of the Beli Dvor was secured as it could be while helping his staff in preparing the refreshments for everyone involved. The brown-haired monarch sincerely hoped that this trumped up idea of his would work to ensure peace for his neighbors, the Kralj having no desire to see blood being spilled needlessly as he prepared and dressed into his formal cloth, a rather ornate yet simple looking teapot sitting on top of the table as he waited for the coming storm, knowing that he and everyone else had to endure for the good of everyone involved.
  15. Private (To Cisalpine Republic) "The Kingdom is pleased to hear the news from the Republic on accepting our invitation, and we shall expect the delegation from the Cisalpine Republic in two days time. If the time schedule is not accommodating enough, do be kind enough to let the Kingdom know and we shall fix appropriately." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic [hr] Private (To Romania) "The Kingdom wishes to extend its invitation to arbitrate the delicate matter between Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic to our friend and neighbor in Romania. We hope to see you soon in Beograd to put this chapter of history behind us." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  16. Private (To Alvonia) "The French Empire as it stands is still reorganizing internally, barely paying but the slightest of attention to the rest of the world. Integration of the french former Snow Haven land would just add needless mess to the French Empire and I understand that they are your allies but at this moment in time, re-integration of the french portion of Snow Haven will be nigh impossible. To that end, I highly request that Alvonia comes to the negotiating table in Beograd before this can escalate and non-Mediterranean powers get involved further." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic [hr] Private (To both Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic) "The Kingdom sends its well regards to both countries and it sincerely wished that the recent communique would be on a more positive note but alas, situations never lead to that. The Kingdom requests to be the arbiter of this dispute between Alvonia and the Republic in the city of Beograd. To that end, we invite both sides to come to the negotiating table in Beograd before this can escalate and innocent blood is needlessly spilled." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  17. Private (To both Alvonia and the Cisalpine Republic) "The Kingdom would like to repeat to both that it stands by its earlier statement, and would like to make note that the involvement of any non-Mediterranean power in this highly delicate situation will not show anyone a favorable light with the Kingdom or its neighbors. That being said, the Kingdom calls for a preventative ceasefire to seek possible diplomatic solutions to this." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  18. Public "The Kingdom is concerned of the recent developments concerning the territory of former Snow haven, the Kingdom calls for both sides to reach a peaceful resolution and like our neighbor in Romania, we offer our services to mediate and serve as a proper arbiter to seek a peaceful conclusion to the situation. That said, the comments from Prussia are not helpful in this situation when considering the state of vast internal reorganization that France is and still remains in. I imagine that Prussian allies would do the same for Prussia if they were in France's position, would they not?" Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  19. Private Dragojev would simply wave a hand dismissively, "Don't mind it myself, Minister, but feel free to smoke," the Kralj would answer as he thought on how best to reply to the Minister's words. "At best, we can agree that Carthage should remain in Africa but the reality of things as they stand, Minister, is that we are alone and Europe is divided. Africa is united as a single cohesive unit working in tandem, for anyone to have any chance of removing the African influence they would first have to unite Europe and then proceed to systematically remove African influence from the entirety of Europe, be it diplomatically, politically or through military force." "I do believe that Alvonia will have to be content with its current holdings if they wish to partake in the unity of Europe and removal of African holdings in Europe," the Kralj added as he smiled sadly at the Minister, knowing that would be one of the realities of their northern neighbor.
  20. Private Dragojev raised an eyebrow before putting some thought into the Šâhanšâh's words, "How about we start with something a bit more simpler, esteemed Šâhanšâh?" the Kralj asked as he started to elaborate. "As it stands, both the Persian Empire and Kingdom barely know of each other enough to facilitate and ensure cooperation with our military forces in conjunction. Thus I believe it to be more fruitful to grow the relationship from a Non-Aggression Pact in combination with an economic treaty." "With regards to the economics treaty between our two countries, I believe making it easier for enterprising businessmen to understand the law, ensure that there are no loopholes of any kind with regards to trade and transportation between the Empire and the Kingdom. Uniformed procedures and the like," the Kralj added.
  21. Private "I understand entirely and can see the logic in your words, Madame President, but you still haven't answered my question which I'll repeat and clear a bit. In the eyes of the Zapadnayan government, what could a government do to gain legitimacy on claims in Zapadnaya's eyes?" the Kralj asked, entirely curious at the answer before delving once more into the Spartan topic. "With regards to the Spartan nation, if diplomatic overtures to ensure regional stability and peace are simply dismissed, then the Kingdom would do what's needed to stop the Spartan Imperialism. By 'political neutralization', we mean more or less to stop the Spartan nation's land grabbing by political means and an extensive network of allies. Frankly, Madame President, while the Kingdom does not look positive on Imperialism and we do our best to do what is right and honorable for the Kingdom and its neighbors, we will not go to war unless forced as the Kingdom does not seek needless bloodshed. Preventing imperialism from becoming a common thing in the Balkan region will only ensure peace and stability for the citizens, its people and countries who reside within the Peninsula. Outside of rampant imperialism like the Spartan nation seemingly possesses by the ton, the Kingdom doesn't see the need nor want to interfere in its neighbor's internal matters. I hope that answers your question, more or less, Madame President."
  22. The polls are officially closed! The results are as follows: Question 1 - Hereno, Markus Wilding and Ty/Californian are the winning candidates. The results is that for the CNRP2 community Hereno, Markus Wilding and Ty are the new GM's for this cycle. May god have mercy on their soon-to-be-suffering souls.
  23. Private The Kralj would nod somewhat at her request as he stood from his chair, his aides following suit. "I am far from a saint, your excellency, I just believe in continuing to do what is right and honorable, that is all. I'm still a human just as you, with my faults and vices and all." "That said, your excellency, should you ever wish to resume this particular discussion between ourselves, I'd be more than happy to help a friend," he says with a polite smile as he raises a hand, running his digits through his brown locks for while he may have not agreed with the Regină's words on humanity in general, he still trusted her as a friend and so would his Kingdom. "The Kingdom and I thank you for your hospitality, Regină Maria, and know that in any case, we will be there to aid you when you request it," the Kralj stated before bowing respectfully at his fellow Royal in a show of respect, Dragojev and his entourage swiftly leaving the room and being escorted to their motorcade.
  24. Private Dragojev nodded at her words, "Considering the instability of the former Greek states, it's acceptable to the Kingdom that Romania shall be the steward of Constantinople until such a Greek state as you outlined exists within the Balkans," the Kralj agreed with as he smiled, "With regards to the Romanian provinces, I do believe that is acceptable, I was merely curious as to the reason of the request before fully handing the Romanian provinces back to its proper country." "I'll admit, that I'll miss having such provinces semi-incorporated into the Kingdom. The Romanians living within them certainly made for interesting times as has being neighbors as well, your excellency," the Sovereign joked in good nature before nodding at one of his aides, who simply nodded back at his Kralj and started to write down the exact orders to transfer the Romanian provinces from the Kingdom to the Romanian Monarch while the Kralj took his cup once more, finally finishing his tea regardless of how lukewarm it was.
  25. Private Dragojev raised an eyebrow at the fellow monarch's 'deal', blinking a bit in shock at the rather sudden proposal. "I-I'm a bit unsure as to the sudden request for the Romanian provinces, your excellency. Is it because you fear that the Yugoslavian Kingdom shall go to war with Carthage?" he questioned his fellow royal before shaking his head, "We never feared or worried about our 'flank' to begin with when it came to the borders that we share, because even had we gone to war, I and the Kingdom trust your word that it would have been an honorable affair all around between the two of us, your excellency." The Kralj blinked before groaning, "We have no intentions of going to war with Carthage at this time, at best, it'd be complete suicide as we would stand alone like you mentioned earlier, and honestly, Regină Maria, all you had to do was simply ask us if you wished for recognition of the claim on the Bosporus given that both Greek states have fallen. That said, the Kingdom would be more than happy to recognize the claim on the Bosporus as long as Romania accepts to return the City of World's Desire to a suitable and extremely Balkan-friendly Greek state."
