  1. Private Dražen snorted before straightening his posture, "It is not the Kingdom that is unwilling to cooperate to begin with, we've been nothing but polite, civil and friendly to the Hellenic Republic in anything involving the region of Bulgaria only to receive baseless accusations, unsubstantiated claims of aggressive acts and abuse in the region and generally being treated like the boogeyman of the Balkans if public news clips from Greek sources are anything to go by. I must ask this, why does the region of Bulgaria must be free from all external control? Does the Hellenic Republic not realize that the absence of protection and administration will simply tempt unsavory characters into lawlessness and banditry, increasing the problems that the citizens of the region face already without a national government?" he asked the Hellenic representative.
  2. Private The Councilor from Yugoslavia shook his head as he put his phone back into his pocket, having received various messages that he had read quickly once the Greek representative had finished speaking, "Considering the live reports I just received from the Kingdom with regards to our allies, especially considering the accusations and condemnations that the Kingdom is receiving from unsubstantiated claims of abuse and aggressive acts against innocent Bulgarians from the Hellenic Republic's own government, the Kingdom is now very hesitant to allow the Hellenic Republic to enter into joint administration of the region."
  3. Private Dražen nodded, "The region of Bulgaria is easily half the size of the Kingdom with mountainous regions that necessitates the number of men to ensure that banditry does not take up in the territory," he answered before lightly shaking his head, "The Kingdom did not act without informing the Hellenic Republic, we sent them a missive informing them of the move in both regions of Albania and Bulgaria without a response till the Hellenic Republic had moved troops into the region and requested the Kingdom to remove all forces, something that we in good conscience cannot do. We offered to host Hellenic forces to aid in protecting the region as a possible compromise but we have received no further response from the Republic till the accusations being laid down in this very chamber, your majesty," he added before glancing at the Greek representative for a second, "It is why it alarms the Kingdom of such serious accusations."
  4. Private Dražen nodded, "That would be correct. The Kingdom's intentions are to simply protect the Bulgarian people and its territory from banditry or foreign interlopers who might seek to annex it into their country, same way for the region of Albania as we are currently protecting," he answered before adjusting his tie, "Should they wish to be annexed by the Kingdom, the decision on doing so rests solely on the Bulgarian people if they wish to pursue such a course of action for the Kingdom shall not encourage, attempt or move to annex the region by its own inclination, we seek only to protect what we see as Brothers and Sisters."
  5. Private Dražen shook his head, "The Kingdom would be happy and more than willing to have League observers enter the region of Bulgaria."
  6. Private Dražen Cižek blinked at the accusations that the Kingdom's ally threw into its face, the Councilor perplexed and befuddled at the serious accusations before he delved into his role once more, doing his best to control the situation. "Firstly, the Kingdom did not invade Bulgaria in any shape or fashion, otherwise the soldiers currently within the territory would be fighting rebels when the only thing they are currently doing is keeping the peace and ensure that banditry does not rise in the region in the face of no national government," he elaborated before continuing, "Secondly, the Kingdom did not send an invasion force, it only sent a force large enough to protect the region and said force is not the size of two army corps but merely three divisions. That is one fifths the size of an army group for those not knowledgeable in military organizational sizes," he explained once more before quirking an eyebrow, "Thirdly, the Kingdom is a peaceful nation and as such we do not seek war with our southern neighbor in the Hellenic Republic so these wild accusations are alarming when it is coming from one we see as a friend."
  7. Private "The Kingdom would like to inform the Kingdom of Malta that a contingent of 500 soldiers will be on their way to aid in the efforts of the Tarifa Accords." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  8. Private Dražen Zoric Cižek blinked as he had followed the Maltan King into the chamber that had been designated for the League of Nations as a whole, "I see no reason why the Kingdom would refuse to approve of such an effort when it's entirely humanitarian in nature, your majesty. I'm curious if this Batukanneh Safe Haven would be able to host soldiers from member nations down the road in good time, any expenses being paid for by the member volunteering the forces of course," he chimed in, giving the Kingdom's approval of the Maltan humanitarian effort.
  9. Private "The Kingdom would be more than willing to see the base to be moved to a different location on the Iberian Peninsula, along with supporting the proposed agreement. Would it be possible to base additional troops than the current proposed maximum as long as the country of origin is paying for any extra expenses?" Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  10. Private "...This is what I mean," began the Sovereign of Yugoslavia as he stood up, the Kralj simply leaving his glass as he started walking around the table where the two foreign dignitaries remained sitting, "Always demands or threats. Why must it be so?" the Sovereign snarked rhetorically before fixing his gaze on his two allies. "Gentlemen, this is both sad and pathetic coming from the two of you," he said bluntly as he glanced to the Deputy Minister, "I would highly recommend that Hungary learns when a mistake is a mistake, miscommunication is miscommunication and when it's not an escalation because escalation only begets escalation, Deputy Minister Kovach," he added before turning his gaze to the Director, "And I would appreciate it, Director, if Alvonia was not so ruefully blunt in their approach as that serves no one." Dragojev would sigh, raising a hand to gently rub the bridge of his nose for a few seconds before gazing at his two allies once more, "Gentlemen, if we all wish to move forward at the very least as peaceful neighbors, we must leave the past behind us and move forward. No longer does the shadow of Romania hover above us and nor should we let it linger or persist on old views from each of us and it behooves us to eradicate such as letting it linger only assures its victory in the long run, and I'm certainly that no one present in this room wishes for that, would I be correct?"
  11. Private The Yugoslavian Councilor nodded before taking a sip of his drink, "I'll be frank with you, Comrade, the Kingdom is unsure due to being of different governmental ideologies at its core. If Russia does not mind the Kingdom's government, we would wish to discuss matters of trade, security, relations and foreign policy regarding Europe if you would be willing to discuss them."
  12. Classified ==== With the alert having been sent by the Alvonian government, the Kingdom in turn would act accordingly and mobilize the entirety of its armed forces while informing their allies in the Hellenic Republic that the mobilization was centered on the apparent issue north of the Balkans in the Polish region, including an invitation to send an observer to keep detailed watch over the Kingdom's forces should the Hellenic Republic feel the need to in another show of faith and trust in the Greek people. This same message and invitation would be sent in addition to Hungary-Slovakia. Border security would be heightened and on twenty-four seven alert giving the apparent tense situation along with having ten division's worth of soldiers ready at a moment's notice to deploy where needed.
  13. Private Dražen nodded as he took his seat, the Serb comfortable in his chair, "A simple glass of Brandy if you will, Comrade, and as for who I am, I am Councilor Dražen Cižek, the person in charge of the Kingdom's Foreign Affairs as assigned by our Sovereign, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic," he said as he introduced himself fully to the Russian.
  14. Private "Let's get straight to the issue, gentlemen," began the Sovereign of Yugoslavia as he took his seat, the Kralj simply ordering a glass of water before the employee waited for the Deputy Minister's order of beverage, "The Issue being the apparent animosity, aggression and tension between two of the Kingdom's beloved allies. I must ask as to why the two see each other as bitter enemies when as friends both can accomplish great things together." "Is it the past history that was goaded entirely by the former hands of Romania? Because I really do wonder as to why this happens and the two consecutively seemingly forget that the Kingdom is an ally of both and a war between two of the Kingdom's allies would not bode well for either."
  15. Yugoslavia has a protectorate over the territory of Albania and Bulgaria (As Yeru noted above and is contesting.)
  16. Private "The Kingdom must apologize but we shall not remove our forces in the region for the Kingdom sees the Bulgarians as natural brothers and sisters, having history in being allied before they had collapsed. In the interest of mutual cooperation and regional security, the Kingdom would be more than happy to have Hellenic forces supplement the forces already established in Bulgaria as long as overall administration of the territory remains in the Kingdom's hands. Best wishes to the Hellenic Republic." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  17. Declaration of Protection! The Kingdom's Forces to protect the region of former Bulgaria and Albania! Issue 14.Y September 18th, 20XX With the collapse of both states that used to be the neighbors of the Kingdom, the Kralj has seen fit to publicly announce a declaration of protection above the Kingdom's natural brothers and sisters to ensure peace and stability for its residents, providing much needed peace of mind for the Bulgarian and Albanian citizens. Not much has been elaborated upon by the Kingdom but several divisions have been equipped and deployed to act as its peace keepers, the Kralj has been reported to have stated the following: "The lands of Bulgaria has always had an influence upon the good peoples of the Kingdom, thus it behooves us to help the citizens in their time of need." In addition, the Kingdom would be sending a small detachment of soldiers to protect the several thousand volunteers currently working in Albania to connect the former territory of Albania to the Brotherhood and Unity highway for ease of trade, commerce and faster transportation for the Albanian citizens should they require use of the highway. From what the paper was able to discuss with the Sovereign, the Kralj had send prior notice and communication of their intent to all of their neighbors and allies. [hr] Classified Albania In the early morning hours, the 501st-Pešadija, 101nd-Puk, 102nd-Puk, 103rd-Puk, 104th-Puk, and the 105th-Puk would be en-route towards the city of Tirana. The Regiments and division would head south-west, exiting the Kingdom through the south-western borders of the Province of Serbia, the combined military force driving along on the road and through several Albanian cities until the ninth hour had passed and the regiments had finally reached the capital of former Albania. After a quick negotiation with its citizens, the Yugoslavian military force established a command center in the city hall, using several abandoned barracks to house their equipment and themselves, the city quickly came to a peace. The Soldiers of each regiment started acting their part in patrolling and essentially protecting the volunteer force that had resumed construction of the highway that would connect the former territory of Albania to the Kingdom. The Division itself on the other hand would act their part in patrolling and being the territory's police force in the meantime. Bulgaria In the early morning hours, the 502nd-Pešadija, 503rd-Pešadija, and the 504th-Pešadija would be en-route towards the city of Sofia. The Divisions would head south-east, exiting the Kingdom through the south-eastern borders of the Province of Serbia, the combined divisions driving along on the road and through several Bulgarian cities until the fifth hour had passed and the divisions had finally reached the capital of former Bulgaria. After a quick negotiation with its citizens, the Divisions established a command center in the city hall, using several abandoned barracks to house their equipment and themselves, the city quickly came to a peace. Once established within the city, each Division would head into each area of the former country, East, Central and West. Once inside the territory, orders were very strict - fire only if fired upon while preventing one's death. Thieves, bandits and other unruly factors were to be actively searched for and hunted throughout the former territory of Bulgaria, to ensure the relative safety of the citizens throughout former Bulgaria. With the unruly elements imprisoned and beaten back, the Divisions were to establish a command center in their respective 'region', becoming the area's de-facto military protectors and police officers.
  18. Private "The Kingdom is serving our ally in Greece advanced notice of our intentions of sending soldiers into the territory of former Bulgaria for the intentions of protecting and ensuring that peace, stability and order remain for the safety of the citizens living within Bulgaria. This is in an effort to safeguard and ensure that banditry does not spark simply due to the lack of a national government. If our ally in Greece has any concerns, please send a reply back as soon as possible so we can move forward and continue working as good neighbors and allies. Best wishes to the Hellenic Republic." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  19. Private The Kralj glared at the doors of the conference room he was currently in. It was no denying that the Sovereign had seemingly reached the end of his patience as he read the public news clippings concerning relations between his two allies, Hungary-Slovakia and Alvonia. To say that the Sovereign of Yugoslavia was incensed would be understating the sheer frustration the Monarch felt towards the situation between two of his allies. He shook his head and prepared to calm himself for the coming meeting, it wouldn't do to be utterly enraged and start chewing out two of his allies in a private meeting. [hr] Upon each dignitary's arrival, they and their entourage would be escorted all the way from the city limits of Beograd with diplomatic honors befitting a foreign dignitary within the Yugoslavian White City to the White Palace on differing routes. The foreign dignitaries of Alvonia and Hungary-Slovakia would not meet till they had finally reached the doors of the designated conference room. Standing besides the conference room's plain looking but tasteful table, the Kralj of the Kingdom turned and politely smiled at the entourage, "I had sincerely wished this meeting would be a pleasure to meet again, Director Wilding, but I would be lying" he started off immediately before turning to the Hungarian Deputy Minister, "Likewise but it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance for the first time nonetheless, Deputy Minister Kovach," he added before he he gestured to the table, hoping his guests would sit in order to get the meeting on track.
  20. Private "The Kingdom urgently requests for a diplomatic meeting as soon as possible. Issues have to be discussed behind private walls, the Kingdom is more than available to coordinate the meeting at a time of Hungary-Slovakia's choosing but please do not post-pone needlessly." Respectfully, HM Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  21. Private "The Kingdom urgently requests for a diplomatic meeting as soon as possible. Issues have to be discussed behind private walls, the Kingdom is more than available to coordinate the meeting at a time of Alvonia's choosing but please do not post-pone needlessly." Respectfully, HM Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  22. Private "The Kingdom would like remind Hungary-Slovakia that the Kingdom fully intends on bringing the issue forward to Alvonia, so do not think that we do not care for Hungary-Slovakia as we do, and it is that why we simply urge the dismissal of expanding into Romania. This being said, we also would like to remind that Alvonia is regarded as brand new multi-ethnical state with no prior history in half a century. With regards to the protectorate, it was suggested for the entirety of former Romania to be jointly administered between Hungary-Slovakia and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia so as to ensure that peace and stability remains throughout the territory. If a Romanian state wishes to found and be found recognized, both of us along with any delegation from this Romanian state will discuss matters to hopefully come to an amicable solution. It may even be as Hungary-Slovakia suggested earlier in one of its three responses to the Kingdom." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  23. Private "The Kingdom would like to inform that the conflict known as World War 2 has been over since at best two hundred years, and as such the world is a very difference place. Attempts of Hungary-Slovakia in annexing their 'claimed' territory will only put them on the path of conflict with a new Romanian state who most likely will seek reunification with their kin, at force if diplomacy fails which is why the Kingdom urges for such plans to be dismissed. We would recommend a jointly administered protectorate of the entirety of the Romanian territory if that would ease concerns from any future Romanian state, and invite Hungary-Slovakia to discuss matters if the proposal sounds amicable." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  24. Private "The Kingdom meaning well will advise Hungary-Slovakia that it is not omnipresent or omniscient, we do not know everything but rest assured that we shall bring this forward with Alvonia as being one of our oldest allies. Regarding Lower Silesia, it indeed was part of Alvonia prior to the Eastern Bloc all but eviscerating the Kingdom's ally for the sake of Hungary-Slovakia and Belarus, so it would do well for Hungary-Slovakia to remember its past transgressions towards one of the Kingdom's oldest allies, while the Kingdom will do so to remind Alvonia of their own attitudes and transgressions. The Kingdom would be put into a very awkward position should two of its current allies go to war over nothing. Most if not all of the Romanian territory, regardless of who it belonged to hundreds of years ago, is still ethnically Romanian and regardless of the borders that Hungary had in its peak hundreds if not close to a thousand years ago, it does not give Hungary-Slovakia any right or claim to the territory otherwise a resurgent Roman Empire could claim the entirety of Europe by that notion. We ask again that our dear ally and friend in Hungary-Slovakia see the Kingdom's reasoning and logic in this, for we seek only peace between ourselves and any future Romanian state and prevent any possible tension." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
  25. Private "Since the question was for all intents and purposes avoided and dodged in our eyes, the Kingdom shall repeat it: 'If a Romanian nation were to be founded and they asked Hungary-Slovakia for the territory that is by all rights theirs due to having significant majority in the regions that the government of Hungary-Slovakia wishes to 'reclaim', would Hungary-Slovakia acquiesce and return the territory to Romania or not?' This is not a case of equal rights for the Romanian people within Hungary-Slovakia, not about treaties or tax exemptions but what will Hungary-Slovakia do in regards to our question." Respectfully, Kralj Dragojev Belojevic
