1. Slot 1 taken: VLADITRON Slots 2-5: Available
2. I am currently looking for small nations who are not actively at war (no alliance war & no raids on the days tech or cash is being sent (your war screen has to be empty on these days)) to sell me technology. If you are at war when the money is due, please be aware that I will delay paying until you are out of all your current wars. (and besides after a good war a little cash injection is always welcome to help with the rebuilding, and getting it sent during the war will mean that some of it will be looted if it has all gone horribly wrong) I can pay you three million per shipment of 50 tech. Send me a trade offer with the tech if you are interested. 3. SF would call in C&G & PB and it would be a complete curbstomp and SF would win. If in the extremely unlikely scenario that nobody called in their allies then SF would still win due to larger numbers of nations.
4. Personally I would like it if the whole terms thing is kept IC since OOC terms tend to open all sorts of awkward issues. For example is checking another player's IP address on IRC to see if they match records on some EZI list or "no government" list a form of cyber-stalking?
5. I emptied a rather good bottle of 12 year old scotch the other night. And I think the bottle got smashed in the bin this morning when the garbage man came.
6. Nothing really changes, there is still a dominant bloc with core and client alliances and its enemies and scapegoats, with a few independents and neutrals. All that changes is who is playing which role, but the structure is the same.
7. I remember the old days when the raid policy was simple, only raid people who are unaligned and a couple of days from autodeletion. Then it was more of a matter of grabbing something nobody wanted and nobody got their noses out of joint. I thought this was a good system. Also I am curious as to what you mean by allowing the war to expire and everyone going their separate ways, does this mean that the attacks stop and the war stays current (EDIT- with no more wars after that), or do you mean that the attacks continue but there are no additional wars?
8. I loved the scamers pretending to be Nigerian royalty despite the fact that they can't spell Nigeria or royalty. There were a load of them a couple of years back, But I think they stopped now.
9. I would like to see a world so evenly balanced that nobody can dominate it. The idea of having one side dominating anything is detrimental to the game, the dominating side ends up getting bored when they have one curb-stomp after another and nothing to challenge them and they leave to find excitement elsewhere. And the dominated side gets fed up with being curb-stomped repeatedly and ends up leaving to find somewhere they can have a fair go. In all my time in CN I have found the most excitement and interest was in the times when nobody could say "try and stop us" knowing that nobody could. When there is a chance that someone can win even a small victory there is always that goal that can drive people to achieve it. But when the situation is hopeless and there is no chance of even a small victory people will not try and end up becoming bored and the game will stagnate. But I know this is a hopeless dream, it has been tried many times (or at least I think it has) and has failed.

11. Congrats on 1000 days, Welcome to the millennium club.
12. IMO, milk goes better in the cup after the coffee. It's creamier that way, but since you like strong coffee it's probably not your thing. If you make the water too hot some of the essential oils from the tea will evaporate as well as some of the other chemicals denaturing, and this will have a detrimental effect on the taste.
13. I am an Australian, but I take my tea very seriously. Life is too short to drink bad tea.
14. You will need. 1 x Clean tea pot (it is important that the pot is clean so that stale tannins that are in the residue inside of a dirty pot will not make your tea bitter) 1 x Clean kettle (Ensure that there is no scaling inside the kettle if you live in an area with hard water since this will alter the taste, if you live in an area with hard water consider using spring water or distilled water for perfect tea) 1 x stove, burner or hotplate 1 x Thermometer 1 x Teaspoon 1 x Tea strainer 1 Teaspoon of tea leaves per cup to be served 1 Clean tea cup per serving White sugar to taste Milk to taste Lemon (optional, instead of milk) The method: 1: Add sufficient water to fill the teapot and add the same number of cups of water as there are to be cups of tea served and heat the water to the correct temperature as shown in figure 1 over the stove. 2: Warm the tea pot to the same temperature by filling it with water and discarding it, this will ensure the water is not cooled by the teapot and the tea will steep at the correct temperature. 3: Add the tea to the teapot and then add the water and allow to steep of the period indicated in the chart below. Do not exceed this time since the tea will become bitter. 4: Strain the tea into a cup and then add milk and then sugar to taste, a squeeze of lemon may be added instead of milk if you prefer. 5: Serve immediately 6: Additional infusions can be made from the same tea leaves to the limit indicated in the chart below. This should be done immediately since if the leaves go cold they may become bitter or contaminated.
15. nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
16. Bloc stats would be useful for tracking the progress of various blocs for various reasons.
17. I too am amused by the antics of this lovable rogue.
18. I broke a tooth the other day and I just got back from the dentist today after having it extracted. So I am floating on a sea of Novocaine and happy gas at the moment. But hopefully the pain will stop now and I can get back to being angry at the CN world in general before long (I hate everyone equally so it is really neutral. ).
19. I would be nice to have some sort of difference between the alliances, a bit of RP or something could make this so much more than just an "internet spreadsheet game".
20. They say that there are two certainties in life, death and taxes. And I prefer death since that is only collected once.
21. An old man's voice begins the narration. Where to begin? Well I suppose I had best start at the beginning in the traditional way. Once upon a time many years ago, there was a nation that was great and good, its achievements were many and it was a place of wonders. And it was ruled over by a prime minister with a fair and just hand. It was as close to an earthly paradise as such things are possible. And he oversaw many great projects that made this nation the envy of the world, and that I suppose was the part of the problem that lead to its fall, envy can be a terrible thing. Now as this nation grew it was decided that the most trusted adviser of the prime minister, his very own twin brother would set out and place a colony on the moon as its praetor and this colony would in time be a twin nation to its parent. And for a while they prospered and grew together and their trade between each other would enrich all the citizens of the republic and their allies. But then the inevitable happened to the elder of the two siblings, his success earned him the ire of less fortunate rulers and the skies rained fire, and the republic burned and nothing was left. Save for the colony on the moon, having saw the fate of its twin it cut off communications with the world and hid the signs of its existence on the moon lest the enemies of its twin seek to further vent their jealous rage upon them. They dug deep into the lunar surface and learned techniques that they could survive, mining the water ices near the pole they soon learned how to split it into the hydrogen they needed for fuel and the oxygen the needed to breath, they also mastered hydroponics so that they could provide for themselves the food they needed to live which could no longer be imported from their homeworld lest they give away the secret of their continued survival. and they retreated into themselves. This is the chronicle of these times. (OOC: This RP is in no way related to CNRP at this point in time, although I am drawing on the backstory of my old CNRP nation for introductory flavor text, And yes the narrator is an unreliable narrator who has a very stilted view of history and an over-inflated sense of the importance of the old country. For now this is just an amusing story I have chosen to write and place in fantasy RP)
22. In order to combat speeding the transport department of Novus Niciae has implemented the following policy. Speed cameras have been set up along all major transport routes and all vehicles that are photographed at or below the speed limit are entered into a lottery to win cash prizes, these prizes are funded by the fines imposed upon those who are caught breaking the speed limit. OOC: This is based of a RL Swedish policy.
23. I am not the reincarnation of anything. I am the one and only Prime minister Johns. ( Yes my ego is that exceptionally large, how else can I RP that I run a nation)
24. The main problem is that the players who can do something can see the problems, but carry on doing the things that are causing them.
25. Lol. This war really should have ended about three weeks ago. The terms were nearly finalized from what I heard. Still, I had a nice little fight with a GOON who had a WRC at 7k NS a week ago, like myself. For comparison, the DH-NPO front just passed the Karma War in duration, if you don't count TPF being held at war for an extra few weeks. And it should pass that too, based on the nature of the terms. When will the terms be released?
