Crymson has near 0 political savvy as evidenced by the slow alienation of most of his allies or potential friends since Karma and of course this move. I've always liked and respected the people I have seen in TOP on an individual level, so it doesn't make sense to me how he continually gets elected. Sparta doesnt even have elections and I'd I've called for someones head long ago if we were in the same situation. Thats what happens when you spy on an ally. They realize you werent actually a friend to begin with. Perhaps next time you should treat your allies like friends instead of like pawns and they'll stick by you.

I said you both went through the motions. I didnt say either side treated each other poorly. I see 3 levels of involvement, ignoring someone/poor treatment, doing what is necessary to fulfill obligations, and engaging yourself wholeheartedly with someone. In my own personal opinion I saw both sides in this incident doing just what was necessary to fulfill obligations. My point was that it was only brought public and deemed reprehensible when it happened to TOP and TSO.

I think I can help explain where the complaints are coming from. TOP joined very late and didnt have much to hit as a result. In addition to the token force they decided not to use nukes in a front already using them, which meant the allies they were coming in to support would continue to take them instead. They then break from negotiations on their own instead of providing a solidified front. There may be great reasons for all those things and TOP seems to have provided them, but all of that together paints a picture of an alliance getting involved very reluctantly with a side they dont care much for. People are upset because TOP at least gives the appearance they are only going through the required motions for the Karma side. A side they played a decent role in forming in a conflict where they played a part in setting in motion the events that led to it (the withdrawals from Q). All that is fine for most, including me, at this point considering Karma is guaranteed victory now. The problem with this OP is I've seen the Karma boards and it appears that TOP had every opportunity to come back to everyone with ideas and comments after pre-terms were shown to them. Everyone on the front could have made the effort to follow up with them and it seems that is what they expected, but at the very least everyone on the front went through the required motions with them. I think what gets most people's goats is the moral outrage they are now displaying in public for being treated in the same way overall as theyve treated others during this conflict. If they had been forthright and ernest in their involvement in this war I'm sure it would have been reciprocated in peace negotiations.
