[/quote] Offense is taken not because we have to fight them. Sparta is still in this war either way. The issue is that this miscommuniction is our fault and is some nefarious plot. Had Legion simply come on and said, "We apologize to the rest of the alliances involved in this agreement but there was a miscommunication and we can no longer surrender." I'm sure there would have been some frustration on the assorted gov members of the multiple alliances who worked on this and thought it was a done deal, but few others would have cared. Instead it was, "zOMG Sparta haz libel!"

What I meant to say was LucasSnow is not gov and so his words carry no weight on the matter. More to the point his intent was not that we are pursuing eternal war, disbandment, or a viceroy, but that peace will take much longer to achieve after having our chains jerked and then being blamed for it. We're really doing Legion a favor. They need a lot of time to come to decisions that will stick.
