1.
Malatose- he was supposed to ask you for them for me
You've been in CNRP three times before. You should know to ask the owners directly by now, and to get confirmation before you post.
 2.
I don't expect to see a Viceroy or anything like that either. SF aren't NPO.
This is a record for mentioning NPO in something that has nothing to do with them. Eight minutes. I believe it will end when NSO admits they were wrong, apologizes, and hands Sedrick over to RoK. I think the result will be some light reps. RoK won't try to extort them, that would be massively bad PR, and they know it.
 3.
(sadly I was one of 3000 teachers cut in my state due to budget cuts)
God knows you're probably more competent than some of the teachers they kept at this school. Congrats on four years. Boomer Sooner!

 8. "The inability of the Russovians/Sudanese/whathaveyou to agree on such a small issue like a flag makes us question the ability of their leaders to rule. We are also disturbed by the immaturity of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs. The incident is as much the appointer's fault as the appointee's. In the interest of protecting Slavic citizens, travel between Russovia and the USR is hereby cut off; Slavic citizens are recalled from Russovia, and Russovian citizens visiting the USR are given one week to end their trip and board the last group of government-provided flights back to Russovia. Upon the return of these flights, there will be no transit between Russovia and the Republics. Coastal waters and all airspace are off limits to all Russovian commercial and government property. Instability is not a joke, and should not be taken lightly." -Chairman James Drake II
 9.
"What's the reason for the stupid name change and retarded new flag?"
"I fixed your transmission for you." -Former Adviser Dan Donegan, on his day off
 10. I voted no, mostly because the time I tried to RP out a spy op, I had to get through so much !@#$%^&*, and by the time it was even 1/3 of the way done, the war that had been the reason for the spy op was over.
 11.
"Protection is the responsible thing to do. The Croatians and Slovenians are very ungrateful people for partially opposing this, and it shows that all they care to do is pick a fight instead of running a nation responsibly. Being under protection doesn't mean they don't get to have autonomy, it just means that Slavic Federation safeguards their autonomy. They should be glad that they no longer are under German rule, at that."
OOC: Union of Slavic Republics Voted A
 12.
One can only wonder how the Romanians, Moldovans, Hungarians, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, and Tajiks feel to know that their own government does not claim to express their will. We only hope that the USR does what is right and gives these people autonomy or drops their official Slavo-centric viewpoints.
"Simply because we had a shift in government does not mean some old policies were right enough to stand. We still recognize every citizen of the Slavic states as equal and one. We also recognize the fact that some people are lacking in basic human intelligence and should therefore think and read before making a broadcast on international airwaves, so as to avoid clogging up the airwaves with ignorance. Have a good one." -James Drake II, Chairman of the Council of Ministers
 13. **Private** "They're going crazy," Donegan commented quietly. "Idiots," James said in disgust. "We offer them a way out and they just start slamming their cars into one another. Fifteen years of incompetent leadership must have affected the average IQ of the south Germans." "Agreed," Donegan replied. "It's like Independence Day, the movie, except without aliens and no one's smart enough to get off their @#$%, leave the La-Z-Boy behind, and walk to the nearest EZ."
 14.
Alright, here is where the entire thing unravels then. The moderation established norm is unplanned war. That is what we default to. While it is great if one set of players have this planned war going on over here, what we are talking about now is essentially imposing the conditions of a planned war onto a separate unplanned war arising from a set of conditions. That isn't how the system works, no one can be forced to plan a war, if there is not unanimous cooperation to set up a harmonious plan for the war, even something as simple as a timescale, then the war becomes unplanned (or partially planned and partially unplanned) and moves at whatever pace it sets. While we have never had a situation such as this, that is essentially the way the CN rules were set up by the mods. Planned war has absolutely no rule based legitimacy and is purely a style that members of the cnrp community may or may not respect. People who state they refuse to recognize unplanned war, would be wiped if they ever actually tried it. That is simply the way the rules work. If you don't like it petition a mod to retract the ruling.
I strongly support this, as I have always supported the idea of unplanned war.
 15.
Ushakov nods to the Athenian Empress “With all due respect to Her Majesty, if Prime Minister Medvedev and the rest of the government thought that way we wouldn’t’ have declared war on France, would we? Nor would we have stood and applauded our neighbors when Belarus was divided up amongst us all. If we were to give credence to that kind of thought then it serves to reason that Belarus should have been reunited with Slavorussia in its entirety. However the world is changing, just because one is a Slav does not mean they should be unified under one national banner. Russians are different from Slovenes, Serbs are different from Poles, Ukrainians are different from Czechs, and all have their own national consciousness and deserve their right to choose whom they join or don’t join. In many ways, I admit, we have ourselves to blame for contradicting ideology. Pan-Slavism has long been a tool of the Imperial and Soviet governments to justify occupation of Slavic states. If there is to be a vote then it should happen immediately and without delay so as to prevent outside forces from tampering with the hearts and minds of the people.”
James turned a cold look on Ushakov. "Pan-Slavism may have been a tool of past regimes, but for us, it has been a source of strength for our people and our government. Slavs are Slavs, and we've removed the differences that kept us apart. A Pole is just as Slavic as a Serb. Now I fail to see the point of this debate, seeing as the issue of Slovenia and Croatia were 'settled' earlier in the meeting."
 16. Emperor James plopped down in the seat next to Visari, plucking the Koryo letter out from in front of him and reading it. He smiled and shook his head in annoyance before looking up at Martens. "I apologize for my tardiness, Ratsherr," he said formally. "My plane was delayed at Odessa. Now, as to the question of Slovenia and Croatia... "In many occasions I would agree wholeheartedly with what my Slavorussian counterpart's suggestion, but this is not one such occasion. The question of the former GDR caring about the Slovenes and Croats can be taken back many years ago, to when they first became part of the HRE/GDR. If you might recall, Croatia and Dalmatia were at war, with the GDR supporting the Croatians. When the Croatian army showed the slightest sign of failing, German troops marched into Zagreb and seized control of the area, viewing the Croats and Slovenes as problems and liabilities. They took control of the region simply to gain access to the sea and to secure the Austrian border. Croatia-Slovenia was, in essence, a buffer state against the Dalmatians. "Furthermore, while dozens of beautiful wonders graced Wien and the rest of Austria, nothing was added into Slovenia and Croatia beyond military defenses. If that's what a state calls caring, I'm sickened. "In the recent revolution, the German leadership of the revolt sent hundreds of thousands of Slavs to their deaths as meatshields. That's two southern German regimes that have not cared for the Slavs. "On the subject of a new nation in the area, I have several problems with the idea. Would the new government truly be for the people? Yes, the people might be allowed to choose it, but will the government actually be a good one? The new owners of the region will have their work cut out for them, repairing damages wreaked by the war, removing old German minefields and such defenses, various other reconstruction and re-compensation programs. The Federation has all of the means to do this and then some. There are things we can do to help Slovenia and Croatia that many other nation's can't or won't. I have already got the basics of our operation to repair and replenish the region in place. We just need to formalize it."

 25. SIC: Grand Fleet Admiral Arsen N. Sevan, SFN, EASTCOMNAV, overall commander of the Slavic Eastern Command's Naval Fleet, was standing in his office, viewing a map of the Mediterranean and all other nearby seas that was laid out on his desk, a look of annoyance sketched clearly across his face. He'd had to scrap plans twice already, after modifying those plans multiple times. Now he had been told his request for a half dozen frigates had been delayed, and he had to deploy his fleet without waiting for them. He remembered the conversation quite clearly... "Admiral Sevan, sir?" a naval captain had asked tentatively, poking his head in through the door. Sevan looked up. "Ah, Captain Nazar, I was told to expect you. What's so important they won't send it over the airwaves?" "An Eyes Only message, addressed to, Grand Fleet Admiral Sevan, sir," Captain Nazar replied after saluting. He had a piece of the teletype paper used by the Supreme Commander of the Eastern General HQ clenched in his hand. Sevan gestured for him to hand it over, and Nazar did so.
0843, June 13, 20XX Slavic Eastern Command EYES ONLY: Grand Fleet Admiral Arsen N. Sevan, SFN, EASTCOMNAV Sub: Orders for EASTCOMNAV START Regarding the request for six Admiral Ushukov-class frigates, regret to inform you that immediate deployment is not currently possible. STOP Orders issued for EASTCOMNAV. Depart for Mediterranean as quickly as possible. STOP Do not wait for completion of Admiral Ushukov-class frigates. STOP Rendezvous with Western Command Fleet in Adriatic Sea. STOP Do not engage until ordered. STOP Signed, Supreme Commander Isaak T. Radoslav, SFGF, EASTCOM END MSG
Admiral Sevan had been massively irritated at the time, issuing a five minute rant to Captain Nazar about how 'that stupid ground force !@#$%^&' was 'jeopardizing Eastern Command with sheer incompetence and ignorance regarding naval affairs.' Nazar, listening and at attention, decided it wouldn't be a good idea to remind the enraged admiral that Supreme Commander Radoslav had served six years in the Caucasian and Slavic navies before joining the ground forces. Presently, Admiral Sevan had plotted the best course for the Eastern Command navy to take. The fleet would travel in six carrier groups, traveling together, but refueling and supplying at different ports so as not to tax their allies' and their own resources at one port too much, returning to a predetermined point after each stop. Sevan knew the refueling would not be necessary, but he'd rather not have to pull out in the midst of an extended battle to refuel one of his carrier groups. Orders were sent out, and the entirety of the Eastern Command Naval Fleet set out from the port of Odessa, bound for the coast of Serbia.
