1.
Whats the IC reasoning behind China's Declaration on Koryo? I'm all for righteous punishment and IC threads opposed to OOC, but this just screams IC/OOC line crossing. I especially enjoy the land gifting portion. If the dude is a multi, simply wipe and retcon his RP.
AFAIK, China sought after Singapore and was furious when their bid was undermined and the land given to Korea. China now sees an opportunity not only to seize Singapore, but to return lands that are viewed by some as 'stolen' to their former owners (RA and Malay)

 8.
"It is Zargathia's interpretation that the Slavic Federation wishes for all its citizens to see themselves as Slavs, regardless of ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds. Integration rather than assimilation."
Zargathia is correct. ------ Roughly a week after the emperor's first speech, the word was spread throughout the Federation that another public address would be made in Tbilisi's central square. Over the next forty-eight hours, nearly half a million Slavs made their way towards Tbilisi to hear the Emperor's words after the last speech. With the locals, the attendance was almost seven hundred thousand. Emperor James II walked out on the stage, this time without an introduction, with his usual smile-and-wave routine. Upon reaching the podium, the young emperor motioned with his hands for the crowd to calm down, and they gradually did so. When silence had fallen over the entire square, Emperor James spoke. "I thank you, my fellow Slavs, for taking time out of your daily routine to hear me speak. It does my heart good to know that so many Slavs care about the future and present of their nation. To me, this is one of many steps in total cooperation, and it is a step that we have taken willingly and with open minds. "One week ago, I stood before you, advocating an end to the regional divisions that for so long kept our peoples weak. In this short week, we have shown our resolve in reaching this goal. Cultural violence has decreased steadily as our minds became more used to the idea of unity. Students moving across the country for university are now even less fearful of acts of unjustified violence. This change came fast, even faster than I dared to hope. "Our people are one, forever and always, tied together in a bond that is more powerful and more beautiful than that of even holy matrimony. While a marriage may end in a shattering divorce, our union shall remain forever, unconquerable and indivisible. Other nations may fade away, but that is not the fate that awaits us. "Nations rise and fall in a cycle as endless as that of the moon. Many nations wax until they reach their highest, then, at their own pace, wane, and ultimately, they become naught more than memory. I tell you now, that is not what will become of this Federation. "The problem with those cycling nations is a lack of unity. They were weak, and while their exterior looked flawless, their inside was cracked and clearly divided. Great nations fell to this problem; Nordland, the United States of America, the People's Republic of China, and the First Tahoe Republic being just a few. It is not just a sign of the times; it goes back thousands of years, back to the Romans, the Byzantines, the Greeks, the Seleucids, and the Ottomans. Logically, one would think all nations would ultimately die. "That logic is flawed, for those philosophers never took into account the Slavic Federation. We are indomitable, in mind, body, and spirit. We are not doomed to tread upon the same paths as those before us. We are destined to forge our own path, blades in hand and brothers at our sides. We'll cut a path the likes of which have never been seen before. We shall soar to new heights, climbing higher even as the weak plummet around us. We will rise forever; if the sky does not allow for such, our sheer determination will push the sky even higher, for we will not be stopped. "We are the superior. All of us. No nation can match what our nation can do. Not the tenacious Russians, not the resourceful Germans, not the arrogant French. "We came from humble beginnings. Early on, our national resources and abilities were a mere percentage of many of our neighbors. How is it, then, that we survived so long, and came out so high? It is because our goals in life are righteous ones, and so long as we, the superior nation of the unified Slavs, continue to strive for these goals, whatever gods there are will favor us. "We stand together. We stand strong, and we stand above all. Our nation is destined for even greater heights. And you, brave Slavs, will reach these heights, surpass them. You will sweep away all challenges in your path, like the government of United Isosceles. You will do this...we will do this. We will never falter. We will never fail!" As he finished the last sentence, the Emperor threw his hands into the air, prompting loud cheers from the audience. He held that pose for a moment, smiling at the exuberance of the crowd. It hadn't been a long speech, he knew, but it did the job he wanted it to do. Finally, without a word of farewell, he turned and walked off the stage, waving cheerily.

 11. Temple Unveiled Emperor James II today announced plans for a new temple in the Slavic Federation. The plans for the temple make it look like something from the ancient Aztec world. The location for the new temple will be on the outskirts of Odessa. "The temple," Emperor James II says, "will not be devoted to any single religion. We have never, and will never, sponsor a single religion. All nationally recognized religions may be represented in the temple. All they need to do is apply for space. This temple will be a symbol of inter-religious cooperation." The Emperor also stated that the temple's size will ultimately vary depending on how many organized religions apply before the deadline. More will come later in the broadcast. **Breaking Update** The deadline has been reached, and the Emperor has finally released the list of religions that will be given space in the temple. Space Will Be Allotted To... Catholicism Methodism Baptism Eastern Orthodox Christianity Seventh Day Adventist Presbyterianism Episcopalian Shia Islam Sufism Sunni Islam Judaism Rastifarianism Buddhism Hinduism Jainism Sikhism Baha'i Confucianism Taoism Shinto Norse Polytheism Neo-Norse Polytheism Slavic Polytheism Deism (??? O_o) The Emperor says that the temple will have a large, central temple, which will house a secular security force to guard the temple, and will act as their base of operations. The security officers are free to attend whichever house of worship they wish. Around the central temple will be smaller temples that will vary in size depending on the number of followers a religion has. For example, the Eastern Orthodox temple will be much larger than the Slavic Polytheist temple. Civilian firearms are prohibited in the temple grounds, and any ritual weapon must be checked in with the Temple Security Force before entering. Any act of violence on the temple grounds will result in charges by both the state, and charges may be pressed by the victim's religious organization. Sacrifices are still prohibited. Construction will begin immediately.
 12. *Private* Emperor James II was far from happy when he first received the memo from Emperor Alec. He'd worked with the aging Dalmatian man for eight years, and had grown fond of him. But he deserved a quiet retirement, he'd reasoned. That wasn't why he was angry, though. Visari was the reason. "This Visari," James said to Donegan as the latter took a beer from the fridge and cracked it open, "is a menace. He can only bring bad things to the Federation. His father was a maniac that killed millions at the same time as himself. What more precedent does Visari Junior need?" Donegan checked a few graying hairs in his beard using the vague reflection in the fridge before replying. "Look, man," he said, turning to face James. "Just because his father was a suicidal, homicidal madman doesn't mean Michael Visari will be. Contrary to the popular belief, an apple can fall far from the tree." "But he's a Nord," James pressed. "Even if you don't view them as evil, other people will. Our public relations will plummet." "Eh, $%&@ 'em," Donegan said, throwing James a beer. "Who cares what the Republic of Whatsis in the middle of Northern Someplace thinks?" "Shut up, Dan," James said, opening the beer with a bottle opener. "This Visari's going to drag us into a !@#$hole, mark my words." "Consider them marked." *Public* "I wish my older counterpart luck in the world of retirement. Emperor Alec was a great leader, and is a great man." -Emperor James II

This would have been a perfect neutral, peaceful zone. But instead it is just another island to place your troops. We withdraw our bid, and instead bid 2 trillion for Pulua Tekong. We hope we can make some of this island peaceful.
"Would you like a little help getting off your high horse?" -Adviser Donegan
 14. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Adviser Dan Donegan said into a microphone, “The Emperor of the Slavic Federation, His Imperial Highness James II.” Donegan turned to face the emperor as he walked up the stage, clapping along with the attending citizens. The stage on which the adviser and emperor stood was now an oddity for the rennovated Tbilisi. It was the single wooden structure in the midst of shining metals that had been used in the rennovation of Tbilisi. Handcrafted from oak by expert carpenters, the stage was the definition of perfect, with not a single flaw or gap visible on the final polish. Across the back of the stage was an oak frame, stretching from one side to another. On this frame hung a massive Slavic flag, covering the area of the frame entirely, and appearing to float. The stage, in itself, was an oddity. Emperor James II had ordered that a permanent speaking stage be set up on the edge of the Imperial Palace, so as to allow a permanent position for public addresses to the people. This struck most citizens as strange because Emperor James rarely spoke before the public, unless the Senate started to cross a few lines. “Thank you, Dan,” Emperor James said to Donegan, accepting the mic from him and standing at the podium. “And all of you,” he added to the crowd of two hundred thousand, plus millions more watching on TV. “First and foremost, I’d like to welcome you all to this most wondrous of occasions. That statement may confuse you. What occasion is this? There’s no holiday today. There’s no new legislation or monuments today. Of what do I speak? “I speak of our existence. The Slavic existence. We exist. As a nation, we existed eight years ago. We exist today. We will exist tomorrow. We will exist in eight- no, a hundred- years. “We exist as a culture. We existed one thousand years ago, when the first Slavs roamed Europa. We continue to exist today, despite many difficulties. We will exist in another thousand years. Is this not cause to celebrate? “However, we are not without flaws. Even to this day, we continue to think of ourselves as a coalition of cultures instead of what we were. One nation with one culture. Serbs think of themselves as Serbs, and Kazakhs as Kazakhs. This must change. “Why? Because it has always divided us. Even when the last Austrian left our lands, we continued to remain divided. We squabbled and fought amongst ourselves. Our lack of unity has always worked against us. “Some argue that we’re a single nation and that’s enough. We’re united; leave that matter alone, they say. Just because we’re a single nation does not mean we are one. Just look at other unifications of Slavs, like Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. The Yugoslavs were united, but they were not one. They were a coalition of cultures as well. Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. They broke themselves because they were unwilling to look beyond their locality. The Czechoslovakians could not work together because the Slovaks were Slovaks and the Czechs were Czechs. They failed because they could not work together as Czechoslovaks. “We must avoid this end. We must act as one people. We must all act as Slavs, not as a dozen different peoples. Do not think of yourself as Bosnian, or your new neighbor as ‘that Russian.’ You are a Slav. He is a Slav. I am a Slav. We are all Slavic. “But what of those who are not officially classified as Slavic? The Georgians, Kazakhs, and Armenians and others? Are they Slavic? You tell me. Is the Armenian who fights, lives, eats, breathes, and dies alongside you a brother? “We are all Slavs. From the youngest, squalling infant in Zagreb to the oldest man in Aqtau, we are all Slavic. Accept this, and the Federation will rise to even greater heights. Unification brings strength. We are one, and we will stay one, strong and eternal.” With that, the Emperor walked off the stage, without his usual loud, boisterous finale, simply leaving the nation with something to think about.

Andres, Holy American Empire, and Athenian Federation is 19.5 Trillion. Free trade access to these economies equivalent to over 50, 000 infrastructure (a larger market than anyone else can offer). Plus we will guarentee the security of your nation. Our purpose of the lease would be for a combined naval station in the Malaccan Straits and a major port between the Pacific and the Indian for trade.
The Slavic Federation adds 2.5 trillion to this bid.

No, this is a bad idea.
Oh, yes, I agree completely. Let's all start fielding giant robots and mobile suits and mechs, and beam cannons, and lasers, and 60000mm artillery, and armies reaching into the trillions. Realism is unnecessary and is bad. Trying to make CNRP realistic is a terrible idea.
