1. I play because I am obsessed with how this game will end. I can't let go of CN's history until I know how it is resolved.
2. The game is running its course. Those who wish to change things will find that they are far too late and exist in a time of CN where innovation is largely irrelevant to the creator of the game, and political action is impossible because it requires one to move a combination of hundreds of players and hundreds of alliance leaders to adopt one's position; something much easier said than done. Nobody is playing for short-term victory anymore either. Everyone's seen the writing on the wall, and everyone's gunning for the victorious endgame. It's CN's last hurrah, and every faction within the game is working to make sure it gets to that point without any flaws. Otherwise, we'd have had several wars and the game would be churning along like always.
3.
I'm pretty sure it's the map from the Ace Combat series. No MK?
MK is the aqua blob not named MHA, but touching NPO.
4.
http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=11169&st=15040&p=1291055&#entry1291055 http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?showtopic=11169&st=15080&p=1294129&#entry1294129 5.57 the first, 1.83 the second. Not the seven in one day people are claiming for the others, but pretty still hefty.
XD Thanks, I wonder why I remember it being so much more.
5.
TSO leaving MCXA may have been a larger drop than that.
I remember it being something like 11 score.
6.
That's not half bad.
Because it's all bad.
7. Whose fault is it that I've never heard of AcTi? btw gl, protectorate blocs are a step up.
8. Just call yourselves the neutral atlantic treaty organization and be done with it.
9. Voted #polarhatecentral er, #mushroom It's easily the most consistently active channel I've been in.
10. Here's to 4 more.
11. I feel like the Legion and ODN have been side by side in the Sanction Race for... well basically since the beginning of CN. Orrple 4 ever amirite?
12. I suppose signing with Legion was, in the long run, a decent decision. The benefits of a meat shield and the indirect ties to the NPO outweigh the costs of allying with the WAE. Not telling STA, though...
13. For the record, those of us at the top of Polar that were in peace mode during NoCB didn't stay in peace simply to avoid damage. There were more than enough threads in Miniplenty's banker board debating whether or not to leave peace mode and do at least some damage, or stay and prepare for rebuilding. We stayed, and, for the most part, we payed for it. The top 30 nations in Polar at the end of the war (those bankers sent to peace) funded not only the rebuilding effort, but also paying back reparations. I payed 3600 of my own tech (more than I actually had) to reps, and then continued to send tech to nations in NV once I left the NpO. Don't give me that "ivory tower" !@#$%^&*. A good majority of the top 30 bankers voiced their guilt and concern as the rest of the alliance was lit on fire.
14. ALLARCHONU AKBAR! These muslim heathens would do well to denounce their faith and join Mushqaeda. Mushrims must unite against the forces of darkness and the CCC!
15. Every time I think back to the days when the Legion had nearly the same NS as the NPO, I !@#$ my pants. In fear.
16.
stuff
Good post is good. The only part I disagree with is Polaris. I think Random has more influence because more people are gunning for Polar than many, including Polar, wish to acknowledge. TOP has a bloodlust for Polar, PB/MK is hungry for "moralist" blood, and Polar is the face of that movement for some. While it may be less advantageous for Polar, it means that Random's decisions will likely shape the opposition's FA policy. Also, I think I'd combine Random with Tyga. Polar/STA have quite a bit of power behind them, more specifically a majority of the blue sphere's connections, and Random/Tyga wield that power. Actually, I also feel that lebubu, and perhaps to an extent much of MK's FA team, have quite a bit of influence wherever they go. Perhaps less than before the treaties were dropped, but it's still significant.
17. Stir the pot a little, will ya? It's about time Sparta threw its weight around, and maybe you're the king to do it, lukapaka.
18. With Misr/The AUT/TheMVP gone... oh wait.
19. Every time mpol posts, I giggle with excitement, like that of a young girl on Christmas morning.
20. I don't think the word hypocrisy means quite what you think it means. Also, if you're calling out VE, why haven't you also considered GATO, Legion, NpO, MK, or a host of other alliances? Each of them is now allied to at least one alliance they have historically opposed. Even then, VE, while being somewhat similar to its original self, allied GOONS, which bear almost no resemblance in the form of shared members with the former GOONS.
21. If the government started to make a profit, people would demand that taxes be lowered because of the idea that taxes should be held at the absolute minimum possible. That's how taxes have worked for the majority of modern western development; I fail to see how that is feudal at all. Likewise, western ideals are self destructive in their own right. I don't think we need the governments to practice full fledged capitalism on their subjects, lest they become completely independent of the governed and work more for self preservation and personal motive rather than listening to the people, unless you think that supply and demand might take the place as the main democratic force of the people. That, in and of itself, would be terrifying. (Don't like your government? Well $%&@ you, you're going to have to go without power and water for a while, and god help you if you're alone in your quest)
22.
If I lose this one, I am pulling a Davian Thule and disqualifying BEazy for being too lulzy.
Oh please, BEazy is a shoe-in for the win, with everyone else following up in a distant last. Leave this contest to the people with talent.
23.
My new masterpiece!
By Blackbeard's holy black beard, dear god this is amazing.
