I skirmished with FAN in late 2007 but my first war was Woodstock vs GPA. Twisted and I had the same target and we were in awe of his war chest. It was something like 200 million. We each had about 50 million at 40kish ns. But he and I raided out a hell of a lot of land that war. We each finished with something like 20k miles. He was much more effective at keeping his than I was, as after Karma I went from 20k to around 500 miles and never did recover it.

Managed to make it work by moving my colony and then dropping my base on top of it.

There would have to be a significant war on neutrality to ever see this happen. The bulk of the current top 500 reside in the neutral sphere.

Wait a minute...the Doombirds are a small group of elite warriors that stand against the masses. Seems that rather than the God-Emperor, Cuba is the fighting king of this small army and he and his small group block mass numbers of upper tiers from invading their allies.

If UPN truly angered the Doombirds for a 6 million spite rep, it may end up costing their upper tier 2-3 hundred times that figure if they are in range of any of the Doomers.

DBDC is, as I have said earlier, like a far advanced alien race on Bob. Only 235ish nations can even interact with them. The other 9800ish of us just look on with awe at something we can scarcely comprehend.

Hopefully Pacifica learned a lesson here. When you show mercy to your enemies, it's often paid back with a knife. Topolarella do it properly, get your enemy down, you put them down for a while. This is exactly the price you paid for the fast, white peace last war that so many were against.

It'll take me about 80 days, or 4 cycles to pay off the Federal Reserve and make it become profitable as it should cost me around 200m and increase my collections by around 50 million per 20 day cycle. They do not however, show up as purchasable yet for my nation. The 20k infra model likely never will.

I'm not sure why the ;people who want the terms won't claim them.l There's nothing wrong with wanting to make sure a defeated enemy is completely crushed. It's the way of Umb/TOP etc. They leave no one in decent shape to fight against them for years down the road. The one time there was a chance to do decent harm to that sphere and bring about some equalization below say, 120k, where the vast majority of nations on the planet reside, the NPO/AI coalition didn't have the spine for it and gave white peace after a relatively short war. That entire front should have continued for at least another month before any terms were seriously discussed. One side had a major numbers advantage and once side had a major war chest advantage that needed eaten into. Not much could be done with the super tier nations but there was lots of headway being made against the large number of nations that started the war from 80-120k during that time frame. At the time of the peace, Brehon and QH pretty much seemed to just white peace without really consulting many people on our side once AI and some others weren't willing to commit to the stupid extended war plan against Umbrella. From what I know, it took quite a few by surprise on the EQ side and it was saw as Brehon shoving through white peace, likely to help out CnG/NG. I am not sure who came up with it or why the extended war term for Umbrella came about. The entire war should have went longer. DH/NPO went for 5 months. This one went for two. Once again, hats off to theTOP/UMB coalition. When you guys win, you crack heads and spill guts and make examples that last for years, you don't leave people with great war chests and the ability to rebuild and roll you in 6 months.

They'd be foolish not to, every single war that they lose those nations are targeted for extended war or terms.

Once again, you speak of something you didn't have to do at all at the end of a 2 month war vs something you made someone else do, in a war you where you aggressively pre-empted them, at the end of a 5 month war. In TPF we also fought the extended war and also had to pay money reps to GOONS after we came out of it. Which GOONS used to promptly buy tech to send to Umbrella. You can say you never took reps, but you very well did, GOONS just exchanged the cash and turned it into tech for you. And Brehon/NPO took a ton of heat from coalition members and allies for shoving that white peace through. It's something Umbrella would never have done if the situations were reversed, much like you're not willing to let NPO get white peace here over 10% of their nations being in PM. We fought TOP in EQ and they kept right at 50% of their alliance in PM for nearly the entire conflict. TOP got white peace just like UMB did. Now NPO is paying for that mistake, among others. I have always said it and I'll say it again, you guys show no mercy, never have. It's why you win most global conflicts, you make the alliances you've defeated take it hard on the chin via length of war and exit terms both. NPO wasn't willing to do that in EQ and now they're paying the price.

Which was the same term you put on NPO at the end of the NPO/DH war, difference being, the above never happened and you all got white peace.

Thank you for the statement. They are attacking people we've got aid sent to for multiple tech deals. IRON, WTF, TDO and several others are currently getting their tech destroyed as a result of this too. Hopefully the attackers either come up with something reasonable for the cause or stop destroying tech that has been paid for by other alliances by peacing out.

Lot's of alliances have tech deals with COMECON, TPF included. I hope this isn't some kind of random lulzy war. If it is, you're stealing lots of aid from lots of alliances for no reason. I'd hope to see a DoW explaining your reasoning for doing this from you at some point. Edit: Apparently Sparta is the protector for Roman Empire? Any comment from Sparta?

Here's how I see it, they can stay in PM and let you rebuild, or they can stay in PM and continue damaging you more than you're damaging them. Apparently they currently see more value in keeping you from rebuilding as well.

We've been out of the war a month and a half and are still top 12 in damage dealt and taken as an alliance with 80 members. I'd say that's more damning to most people who are still in it.
