  6. Nope, I'm taking a break and stepping back for the foreseeable future. I'm still around, of course, but without any crucial responsibilities like Deputy SecGen. Also, I'm pretty excited to see what comes from this next term. Congratulations to Tiagoroth and the elected Councilors on their victory!

  8. While we are sad that our friends have taken this course of action, we understand their decision. With that said, the NADC fully intends to honor our treaty with TENE, including our 72 hour grace period. Good luck to our friends and (former) allies, wherever you end up.
  9. You are a class act, GOP. Glad to see one neutral standing up for another. o/ GOP
  10. Super excited to see this happen. Here's to a prosperous future with the newest addition to Aftermath o/
  11. Glad to see a former UBD member taking up the reigns at GDA. Congrats on your election. Here's hoping that positive changes come from it.
  12. Less paper is always a good thing, though I'm surprised at the GATO cancellation. Good luck all.
  13. I've been expecting this since the R&R-TIO ODP / the cancellation of SF, but sure, best kept secret :p Congratulations and whatnot.
  14. The last 11 months spent with App in Aftermath have been a pleasure. I'm glad I had the opportunity to engage with such a unique community before the end. o/ Apparatus
  15. Finally, we can get back to blaming Deebo. I've missed that. Congrats and whatnot :p

  17. Some weathered government hands, from the looks of it. Unless Combat Pope isn't the same Combat Pope that I'm thinking of :p Good luck guys.
  18. I got bored when I should have been doing other things, so the NS list has been updated once again! Minor Movements Up: ODN, Fark, MK, TIO, Sparta, NATO, VE, NSO, LoSS, STA, RIA, CRAP, MI6, SUN, MW, AB, Major Movements Up: R&R (4), Valhalla (1), NADC (2), Int (2), Minor Movements Down: NG, MHA, GATO, AI, TDO, Pax, NEW, TTE, DB4D, DRN, SNAFU, Major Movements Down: Umbrella, Welcome to the Disciples Of Destruction, premiering at #60! And welcome back to The Last Republic, who has returned to the top 80! A warm welcome as well to the Hooligans and LPH, who round out the top 80. And of course, we must say goodbye to Créole, Echelon, and TENE. If memory serves, this is the first time Echelon has not been in the top 80 AAs since its original entrance after the merger that created Echelon nearly 6 years ago.
  19. Another time, another place perhaps. But I stand by my statement. At the very least, if you weren't misinformed, your BLEU allies certainly were.
  20. Best accompanied by: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYKUeZQbMF0 The North Atlantic Defense Coalition is in many ways the hallmark of a community-driven alliance. The comradery between the nations of the Coalition is something unique, not often found on Planet Bob, which explains why so many of our veteran players return. Whether they have gone to another alliance or left this realm completely, again and again it seems that some of our most beloved leaders can’t stay away from the NADC community. This almost insane behavior (because once you get out, why would you come back?) may be best explained by our history. The events that have shaped us could easily fill a series of encyclopedias. The Coalition, and by extension her community, has experienced both the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat. The Coalition is in an elite group of alliances that have experienced the thrill of sanction. Indeed, it is that fire which keeps going. And of course, few who were here in January 2008 can forget as the NADC experienced the agony of defeat at the hands of a misinformed coalition. Yet our highs and lows don’t end there. In truth, the Coalition has experienced more than most alliances. Our internal dissidence, ranging from multiple attempted coups, splinters trying to poach members (nADC), OccupyNADC, hate speech and, of course, foreign affairs decisions, has threatened the very existence of the NADC on more than one occasion. The Coalition has also engaged the world on the diplomatic level since its inception. The NADC was the creator for the first-ever bloc, founding the Grand Union of Alliances for Rapport and Defense (GUARD) alongside CSN and ONOS, as well as drafting the Treaty of Amity (ToA) and Amity and Cooperation Treaty (ACT). While many remember the NADC’s poor war performance during the unjustified attacks that began the BLEU War, the Coalition has fought in seven wars since that time, constantly striving to improve our abilities to provide a strong defense to our nations and our allies. No matter the odds, the Coalition is prepared to answer the call to battle, as she has done many times before in the defense of her friends. OOC: On a personal note, I have spent the last 5 years in the Coalition, and I know beyond a shadow of doubt the heart of our community. We have stood strong for each other, through personal tragedy and bitter strife. Through the fall of marriages and the death of loved ones. My personal favorite is when our community reached out to the family of one of our own after his passing. Having the opportunity to support his family, having his wife and even his son join us to help them handle their loss by immersing themselves in the community he loved, was one of my proudest moments in the Coalition. The North Atlantic Defense Coalition has changed lives. The character of our community is truly what sets us apart. Pro Ordo, Pro Pacis, Pro Vox For Order, For Power, For Peace
  21. Congrats R&R. That growth is, quite frankly, ridiculous! Not gonna lie, I'm pretty proud of our second place finish though. :D
