Emperor Brutus
That policy could easily end in trouble if the wrong people decided to test it. That would be fun, No? Every decision on Planet Bob made by the wrong people could easily end in trouble.

dejarue
Peace is our Profession You just made me smile. Thank you. Why do you have nukes? He is required to by alliance policy.
Ogaden
I don't know about your equivalency, I mean: Cost to replace 1 nuke: $0.5 - $2 million dollars. Cost to rebuild from a nuclear attack: Several billion dollars
dejarue
Sounds like a good reason to keep your spies to yourself, huh?
Ogaden
Sounds like a good reason to keep your spies to yourself, huh? Under this policy however, if in wartime someone spies away one of their nukes, Nordreich will have considered the conflict to have gone nuclear? If Nordreich then responds with nukes, who has initiated the nuclear conflict?
Tom Litler
If the conflict isn't nuclear then there's no reason to target our nukes, is there? Edited November 24, 2009 by Tom Litler

Ogaden
If the conflict isn't nuclear then there's no reason to target our nukes, is there? There's little reason for anything anyone does these days. If the conflict isn't nuclear in the first place then someone is doing something wrong. To be quite honest, I'd consider the spies to have. ODN has a similar policy.
hizzy
To be quite honest, I'd consider the spies to have. ODN has a similar policy. A lot of people do. Even if not a permanent policy, it's not unheard of for alliances to declare at the onset of a war that they will not be using nukes unless the other side fires or spies them away first.
