ZeroRemorse
Well we offered the LSF and INT a part in the pact but INT didn't want to join, and LSF wasn't interested. Just because they are the largest of the Leftists alliances doesn't mean that they have to join the pact in order to make it succeed. Even though we are smaller we are united under the warsaw pact and in turn stronger than ever before.
Raider
I can understand why the INT and LSF didn't sign onto this treaty. The SWF is a protectorate of the LSF and the Soviet Union is a protectorate of INT. Why sign another -weaker- treaty? That aside best of luck with this treaty comrades. Dr Kshatriya
That pact emblem is rather cool
ZeroRemorse
I do hope that this pact is not going to fall apart, although seeing as how we in the UCR are great friends with SWF and SU I highly doubt it will collapse as easily as our predecessors did. Bob Janova
I thought there was already a treaty with this name? And I agree with the people who say that without the two largest leftist alliances, this doesn't unite anything much. [OOC: yeah, the date to post this is rather fitting, too ]
Iosif
I thought there was already a treaty with this name? And I agree with the people who say that without the two largest leftist alliances, this doesn't unite anything much. Indeed, although it's now defunct. If my memory serves me right, it had CPCN and couple of pretty irrelevant commie alliances in it, most of them probably were merged into Internationale when it was formed. Remaliat
Even if they aren't interested in join you can not profess to unite the left without them. This is a group of leftist alliances (insert lolcommie joke here) who are to put it bluntly unknown, trying to grasp at publicity and it is well disgusting. Good luck with this ill-conceived treaty. Thizzland
Sincere congratulations, Comrades. Like others have stated before, those are some amazing graphics. [OOC]Also this is a great day to start a bloc called Warsaw Pact, in the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall[/OOC] It also could be a coincidence or maybe they did it as a prophetic rebirth to the new reality to which socialism expands across the planet to enlighten the minds of the people, but does it really matter? It's a group of alliances who signed a treaty to show their friendship to the world. This would be my guess. The revolution endures on Planet B! militantmilo
[OOC]Also this is a great day to start a bloc called Warsaw Pact, in the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall[/OOC] OOC: We have no affiliation with the Soviet Union as it was in the real world. The fall of the Berlin Wall is something to be celebrated. It stood symbolically for what we, the signatories, stand against: oppression, exploitation, and human misery. What better day to announce than on the anniversary of its fall? IC: Congratulations to our friends in the SU and UCR for their hard work on this treaty. Communism doesn't work >_> [ooc]If you really want to impress me, make a "United Communist Alliance Comity" where you make a forum, get your leaders to go there. Kinda like a RL UN. The Big Bad
Nobody asked for your opinion. Thanks for stopping by. You made this public so you not only asked but, were begging for it. You post an optional pact witout the two largest leftist alliances and call it leftist unity. You use the name of a failed bloc to represent that optional unity. How in anyway, shape, or form did you think making such a thing public was good idea? That alone tells everyone all they need to know about this bloc. The SWF is a protectorate of the LSF and the SU is a protectorate of the INT. By this Pact, all active and announced Leftist alliances on Bob are now united, militarily, by treaty. How is that not unity?

Why better day? Because the fall of the Berlin Wall is a symbol the victory of the capitalism over communism. B) [/OCC]

Comrade Craig
INT and LSF are not the only alliances on the Left. The rest of us are capable of doing things like eating and breathing all on our own. Not everyone always agrees on everything, but these three alliances agreed on this. For the greater glory of the Left! I second this statement. Furthermore -- despite the fact that INT is not a signatory of Warsaw, the magic of the treaty web insures that we are directly or indirectly connected to all of its signatories. We are united in spirit and brotherhood, if not contractually. -Craig
Comrade Craig
heh those days are gone flak, have you not heard? Nordreich and the commies are drinking buddies these days Well, to be honest... I admit that I did go out drinking, blacked out, and woke up the next morning to find myself spooning Nemhauser. I rose, found my pants, uttered a polite but feeble excuse (something about needing to feed my dog), and bolted for the door. The event makes us something, but I don't know if "buddies" is the right word. -Craig
