Every day I see people rattling off spy rolls like nothing else. In game a failed spy attempt gets caught, and in RL you don't determine if you are successful or not until you try, in which case if you mess up you get caught. I think it would inadvertently push spy operations down the road to RP like most people seem to want while retaining spy rolls to keep abuse in check. Also, it just makes absolutely no sense for failed spy rolls to have no consequence. As it stands, I could perform successful spy operations every day and have no reprecussions. I've noticed that whenever someone says "you do realize" they in fact being an enormous $@! about something. But I'm sure you were just trying to remind me of something you thought I knew. I didn't, but thank you for informing me. Now I won't have to waste a spy roll and then RP seducing a lovely GLP scientist into giving me the information. All I have to do now is the one spy roll on the defenses and say "hey look MDS". Not really as fun. [s]GMs please just do the one spy roll; I might ask for the second one later if I can think of anything.[/s] Actually forget that. Please do both spy rolls, they'll be for the same thing. If both succeed it will just be a waste, but it will improve my chances. I can do that right? Seems like everyone else is and that's how it works. Thanks again HHAYD.
